After 23 years of driving minivans and SUVs, I was ready for a change. I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door. with the 6 speed manual transmission. Car is great to drive, gets okay mileage (25+mpg) and is surprisingly practical.

I was looking to buy a new vehicle and Sam Thurman was amazing to work with. He was knowledgeable and professional. I have been back with questions and he has been kind and helpful. Next time we need a vehicle we will be back to have Sam help us. The financer that we worked with was not professional as we felt very pressured.

I got a wonderful car from Imported Motor Cars in Maine. It’s a beautiful car, incredibly fun to drive, and surprisingly fits tall folks well (my husband is 6’5”). The 2016 model is high in reliability according to CR, and I haven’t found it to be different. It has great gas mileage and is pretty good in snow.

A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. Fun car, not good for long trips though. Perfect for around town. Just a little to low for older adults, can be difficult to get in and out.

Allan did an amazing job of helping me get info on cars and CarMax process. Ultimately they didn't have the car I wanted but I did end up selling my used Kia there. Kim was amazing and super pleasant to deal with throughout the whole process exchange. Will use them in the future 100% if I need to.

BMW / Mini really got it right with this 3rd generation 2016 Mini Cooper S. None of the headaches or reliability issues of previous years.... This car is incredible to drive. This is as solid a car as any car in the current BMW line up. Draws looks and smiles every where we go. So many features, So quick and responsive, it is incredible, way ahead of its time. The performance is exhilarating. My wife and I used this as a weekend car to drive up to our sailboat to spend the weekend on beautiful Lake Texoma from Frisco about a 60 mile trip each way to spend the weekends. Solid, safe secure, very reliable and dependable. Never had a problem one! We had more fun driving this car than any other we have ever owned and we have had 2 Honda Civics, 4 Honda Accord Sports of various years , 2017 CRV, 3 Porsches, a 2016 944, 2004 & 2013 Boxer S, and a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Limited. This baby tops them all... This car is a smile a mile....

I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. I have now purchased (2) vehicles from Rick Shaffer (Owner) of Hendersonville Auto Brokers. From both of my experiences RICK IS A STAND UP GUY: PERIOD! I purchased a 2013 Mercedes SL 550 back in June of 2022. Loved it, great car. After owning it for a couple of days I noticed that one of the eyebrow lights on the headlight wasn't working. Since I had purchased the car "as-is" with no "we owe" or anything else I called Rick asking if he knew someone that could replace it AT MY EXPENSE and that I understood that my purchase was "AS-IS". To my surprise and delight Rick said that it WAS NOT ON ME and to bring the car in and he would get the light replaced. Not a cheap or easy fix as the whole front fascia of the car has to be removed in order the replace the headlight. He provided me a loaner car while the light was replaced; again GREAT GUY. I know this is long but just before Christmas this year my step sons car threw a rod. $11,000 repair bill to replace the engine was not an option on his 2011 Hyundia Sante Fe. I thought we would take a look at what Rick had available. My step son found a 2015 KIA Soul and Rick made us a great deal on it. The car did have an open re-call from KIA which Rick (again) took care of and (again) provided a loaner car while this was done. Did I mention that he came in on Christmas Eve, Eve to meet us and make the whole thing possible? He did. GREAT GUY, GREAT DEALERSHIP. Rick is a man of integrity. I will recommend his dealership all day, everyday. Very rare in today's world.
