2024 Mitsubishi Outlander review
Feel like I got a great deal on a leftover 2024 Outlander SEL trim with the technology package. My only real complaint is that it could use a bit more power, off the line it’s ok, but when you need it the most it lags. They could swap this out for a more powerful engine or turbo. I definitely will most likely upgrade this to the PHEV model once’s it’s refreshed for 2026. Love the options, the Mi Pilot assist is very responsive and overall I feel safe in the vehicle. Mitsubishi deserves some love for this vehicle!!! So far no issues at all approaching 1600 miles driven.

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander review
I couldn’t be happier with my 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Trail Edition. From the moment I sat behind the wheel, I knew this SUV was something special. The comfort level is off the charts—plush seating, smooth ride quality, and a cabin that feels like it was designed with long drives and family adventures in mind. Whether I’m cruising through the mountains or navigating city streets, it handles like a dream. And let’s talk about the looks—this thing is a head-turner! The Trail Edition’s rugged yet refined design gives it a bold presence that stands out in any setting. I’ve had people ask me about it at gas stations and parking lots just because it looks that good. Driving it is pure joy. I contacted El Cajon Mitsubishi about a car they had on their website and I can't say enough good things about my car buying experience with these guys from the very beginning. If you are on the market for a vehicle you should give this dealership a try. The Super Team of Terry, Bob, Annie and Matt helped us get the car we wanted without any hassles (oh wait did I said car) let me clarify that; it should be cars (plural) we drove from AZ and ended up buying a car for my wife as well, both cars had low miles and the price was great. This is by far the best car buying process I've ever had in my entire life and I have bought plenty of cars. These guys are straight forward professionals and there is absolutely NO BS when dealing with them. I highly recommend them and if I ever decide to upgrade I'll definitely be taking my business back to them. Thanks again guys and keep up the good work!
2025 Mitsubishi Outlander review
I purchased 2 new Mitsubishi Outlanders after doing Internet research on currently available mid-sized SUVs. A test drive nailed the choice. The 2025 model introduced several changes that have addressed prior criticisms about vague steering and hood vibrations and ride. The fit and finish of both exterior and interior is excellent, typical of a Japanese car and as good or better than the Toyota RAV4 or Nissan Rogue that were being considered (the Outlander and the Rogue share the same platform, but IMHO the Outlander is the better rendition). The interior of the SE trim is very plush at this price point with leatherette and suede seating that is supportive and "hugs" you and looks and feels better than more expensive luxury SUVs in this size class such as the Lincoln Corsair and Aviator. The standard Yamaha audio system produces astonishingly good sound with either Bluetooth audio or Sirius XM. The Outlander supports Android Auto, and its navigation is excellent. Steering feel is excellent and well-weighted, and braking is strong. The Outlander has a surprisingly small turning circle. The electronics assists and displays work flawlessly, especially the adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping and both front and rear parking assistance via the good-sized infotainment display screen, which also provides an overhead overall view (AI?). While the Outlander does have standard third-row seating, the seats and leg room are miniscule (suitable only for very small children or pets) and hard to access, but I plan to never use them for seating and keep them folded down to maximize cargo carrying space, which is even more generous with the second-row seatbacks folded down. Exterior styling is very bold and contemporary and distinctive, especially the front styling and the wheels; it has grown on me. The 2025 Outlander thankfully does not have that horrible stop-start feature where the engine shuts off if stopped at a traffic light, and in hot and humid Florida, the AC is not interrupted like on other new cars. The transmission shift lever is not intuitive to use, but eventually you get used to it (IMHO a simple rotary knob would be easier to use). The Outlander has a very generous power train warranty and comes with the initial three oil change services included. The horsepower is modest but more than adequate for city and suburban driving, and the CVT seems well mated to the engine and drives very smoothly. If Mitsubishi added a turbocharged version, that would certainly boost the acceleration.

Hats off to Annie the GSM. I came in after 5 pm for a test drive, mind you they close at 7 pm. My test drive was a 23 Outlander SEL with dealer plates. I drove it alone and was sold on it. Annie ran the numbers after 6 pm and qualified me with an APR way below what another dealership had offered, even after a hard inquiry. She worked hard for that sale and had me out the door a few minutes after closing time. No pressure, up front about pricing, warranty and add-ons. All in all I would definitely recommend El Cajon Mitsubishi as they are a small, local, no pressure, honest dealership. 5 stars.

I bought a 2004 Pilot a month ago here. My salesman, Tim, knew exactly which loan to submit me for because I had no job and bad credit but a big down payment. He had me financed with no problem in minutes. A few days before I went to Carmax Burbank for a different car but with the same down payment and the saleswoman there did not do the same thing. The car was purchased in 2 hours and I was driving home. I bought the warranty tey offer which is a great bumper to bumper extended through their company. They have a 5 day return policy. I opted to return my car on day 4 to pay for the warranty in cash so as not to finance it at the very high interest rate I bought the car at. The return was also easy and everything was done in less than an hour. A month later now, I have found a few things wrong with this 2004 that seemed to have slipped past their extensive reconditioning program. I took it in with odd complaints a dealer would normally say they couldn't duplicate. They addressed them all and even gave me a loaner SUV for my babies to fit in while I waited the few days for the parts to arrive. GREAT STORE! Great customer service! And there's a play room for the kids! *Avoid the coffee!! It is terrible!!!
2023 Mitsubishi Outlander review
2023 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL BLACK EDITION. I bought mines brand new on Nov 2022. So far it had a recall for firmware update. As of now. Almost 15 k miles and no issues. I love all the features and was told ot doesn't have the issues its predecessor had. Mitsubishi invested millions in the 2023 models so hopefully I can get 200k or more miles out of it.

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander review
Driving over a year now, comfortable ride. Many features on the Black Edition. Automatic headlights, wipers, panoramic roof, heated seats, wiper defroster, heat/ AC works very well. Car has standard headlight washer...long hold or after so many windshield washings... just a few. Only drawback! The integrated navigation..used TOMTOM that is very poor feature. Unable to have an update. Map has trouble accurately find places...if local destination..gives location sometimes in other places or even states.
