Bought one 4 years ago, very reliable. Not over-computerized, the only "smart" feature is the ABS, therefore you can enjoy the real driving. Exceptional steering capabilities, replace parts are not expensive. However I am the 3rd owner, the manufacturer reached me via the government for a recall which I highly appreciate.

This is a simple, basic 5 speed that works as it should. The 3cylinder engine actually has pep! But what I really love about this car is how far I can drive on a full tank of gas. I’m used to filling up a V6 and V8 at $60-$80 a tank. Only $20 fills this up for the same distance I drove the other vehicles that cost $60!

2010 Lancer GTS 2.4 CVT. I changed spark plugs and coils, which gave it a lot more power. Does roughly 30 mpg even around town. 41k miles on it now and seems to run great. ABS ASC sensors do get dirty fairly quickly on these cars. Power wash inside of wheels every so often takes care of that problem. 61 yrs old and I love the car and enjoy driving it. I run the xxxx out of it!

I am not married nor do I have kids. This car would be great for long distance, family trips. Good trunk room and spacious back seats. I got the top line model with a sunroof and head seats. And I love the Rockford Fosgate sound system! Got a 10" subwoofer in the trunk! It PUMPS the bass! It's got a part time 4WD/AWD which is nice in sedan. It helped me get thru some snow in Maryland. The CVT does make funny noises. But mechanic said it was normal. Ride is not bad. It is sports tuned after all. The interior is kind of dated. Steering wheel only has a tilt function, not telescope. Just up and down but can't pull the steering wheel close to me. Great A/C and heating. The leather is kind of cheap though. Handles great! Gas mileage 36 mpg on HWY! That's not bad. Worse mileage was 18 mpg CITY but it was stop and go traffic. DC is notorious for that! But not bad at all for a 4 door sedan for under $20k!

I was hesitant at first I really checked them out since I was 9 hrs away. I own a 2014 Mirage. I love driving it. Although I've owned all kind of cars including Volvos, Saabs, BMW's, and others, I still appreciate this for what it is. Now lets review some of ridiculous disparaging remarks we have all seen about the Mirage. 1. It can't keep up with traffic. 2. It handles poorly. 3. Only girls drive one. 4. Cheaply made. 5. Worst car ever. First of all this car is maligned far less in Europe than here. Over there it's called the Space Star. Since it can and does handle the autobahn that shoots number one and two to pieces. As far as number 3 goes, most of the haters seem to be men professional drivers used to driving BMWs and Volvos and not econoboxes like this is. They completely missed the point of this car. It's designed with frugality in mind. I don't know the statistics of how many women drive them as opposed to men but I'm sure there are plenty of men who drive them. I do and I'm not a girly man. 😂 The idea of number 4 is ridiculous. It's not "cheaply"made it's inexpensively made. The materials may not be luxury materials but they still hold up well. For those who believe number 5 go back and drive a Yugo. This little 3 banger does what it's supposed to do. Great mileage decent reliability in a cute little package. Also a very good warranty. If you want more go buy a Volvo but stop trashing this car with unsubstantiated nonsensical commentary.

The car is perfect for anyones perfect commute. It can fit into any parking spot and it can go country wide on one tank of gas.

This car never gave me any issues. Is very reliable and rides very smooth. I have made modifications to it listed in my listing. This car is for someone who enjoys cars and making modifications. The exhaust is louder than stock, but not too loud that the ride is not enjoyable.

My 2003 Mitsubishi galant has been super reliable and fun JDM car due to it, sharing the same engine as the eclipse and Lancer from the same parts are fairly cheap when something does brake and it stock is a super fun car. 160,000mil

What is their to say. The models from 08 to 15 where pretty amazing. The only thing I’ll start off with, is if your looking for a factory carbon fiber or crazy interior don’t stop at the Evo X. The interior is pretty relax compared to WRX models, aside and after that.. epic! Great handling, power control, upgrade options, support from vendors and forums like crazy. Handles like a prob without upgrades. Owned multiple cars, and this by far is my favorite.

Car will pull so hard, and still be daily driven

I've driven this vehicle from Idaho to Florida to California through blizzards and hurricanes. It handled well on icy roads on normal tyres with no chains on them. It handled well through tropical storms and hurricane conditions. It gave me 50 MPGs in Orlando and gives me 35 MPGs in LA traffic. Even in 30 below zero weather it always has fired right up. I've driven it 50k miles and have only had to change the oil and replace the brakes. It's a great little car. I'm 6'0", 280 lbs and I fit great. It's as comfortable as Lincolns and Lexuses I've owned at a fraction of the cost of operation.

This car is a true driver’s car. You are either hard on the breaks, or firing on all cylinders with this car. If you don’t care about economy or a quiet ride, this car will deliver on all other factors. This is by far the sportiest car I have ever and probably will ever drive. It puts out just enough power to overtake almost anybody on the street. It sounds amazing once you upgrade the intake/exhaust. Turbo spools up somewhat late but once it’s up, you are in heaven.

It is the perfect size for and my grandkids when I need to drive them here and there. I love it. It is starting to have problems about 2 times a year. For the last 2 year's but for its age so far not bad. Has 75700 miles on it. Hope it last for a few more years. I am retired. I have MS and live by myself so need to get around to doctor Apts and grocery shopping. Still. I love this car. This is my 3rd Mitsubishi lancer car.

Fun to drive and great on gas. Could use a little more legroom for taller people but comfortable ride for price. But overall a great little sedan.
