2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
A little expensive, but comfortable, quiet, smooth ride. Great performance out of the 6.2L and better than expected fuel economy in the low 20s. Outstanding interior and good looking exterior, especially in the Downpour Metallic color. I don’t have 700 miles on it yet and have owned it for 3 weeks. Therefore, I can’t pass judgement yet on the reliability, but so far I am very satisfied. This replaced an 8 year old Ford F150 that served me quite well with only a couple of issues in the 100,000 plus miles.

2026 Buick Envista review
I just bought a 2026 Envista Preferred on May 22, 2026 and it is the dream car that I always wanted. It's elegant, good on gas, nice and comfortable interiors and trunk and small enough to park. I dropped my truck off to have the oil changed. The day before I noticed that I had a headlight out. I bought the bulb from a local parts store, but hadn't had a chance to change it. They called and said that I had a light out. I told them the bulb was in the truck seat that I would change it that afternoon. They said they would change it as a courtesy at no charge. Happy customer!
2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought the AT 4 version. Loaded. Has good ground clearance. It's powered with a 3.0 l turbocharged diesel. Has lots of horsepower and torque. I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.

This car has all the features of most higher priced luxury cars. Very quiet ride and super comfortable seats and a large display screen for showing driving directions and those are also on the front dashboard next to the speedometer. I bought the Elevation version and it comes with a rear hitch.
