2025 Hyundai SANTA FE review
We have 24,000 miles on our 2025 Hybrid Santa Fe. We have had no problems with this vehicle. It is comfortable, roomy, and very fuel efficient. We get between 35 and 40 mpg depending on driving conditions. Great visibility, handling, and good ergonomics. All around great car for the money.

2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2026 Toyota Crown Signia review
I have owned this Crown Signia for 1 month now. It has not disappointed me. The ride is both quiet and comfortable. The built-in phone charger is somewhat disappointing but the nearby USB-C port provides easy access for charging. The wireless Android Auto feature works flawlessly.

2026 Nissan Leaf review
This is my second Leaf EV, and was still driving my 2015 model when I purchased this one. The 2026 Leaf SV Plus has been great so far! The ride is smooth, the range has been consistently north of 300 miles on a charge. I appreciate the battery heater and the range added from it in the cold. I knew I wanted the SV+ model for that, and the snazzy tourquoise color alone. I don't car about the color for aesthetics, but it makes it incredibly easy to find in a parking lot! The driver control center is good, and I appreciate the Google integration and voice controls-but it also has CarPlay. My at home level 2 charger still works with this, but it is a little slower than the car is capable of being charged. It doesn't bother me as it charges at off-peak over night in a few hours. Why is anyone living near an urban area still buying a gas vehicle with fuel prices what they are is beyond me.

2026 Honda Ridgeline review
Ridgeline Black Edition, the top-of-the-line model, is a great light utility vehicle that also makes a great daily driver. As comfortable to drive as a car. Gets good gas mileage for a truck and has many outstanding safety features, which is why I bought it again after owning two. Next year is going to be a major upgrade. The current model does not have all the features of the Honda Pilot, which has the same engine. Upgraded stereo, heated and cooled seats, and a place to charge your phone without connecting with a cable. Electronics are somewhat confusing because they are layered. Really good view out the front and side. Only black interior. Locked trunk in bed. AC outlet in bed. Quick in acceleration, 0-60 in about six seconds if needed. Steering is somewhat heavy and not exactly as precise as my last model. Overall, this is my third, and I keep coming back because it works for me. AWD can tow 5000 lbs. The black edition comes in three colors: Black, White, and Sonic Gray Pearl, which I bought, and many have commented on. Would I buy again or wait till next year when a hybrid comes out? I needed the safety features now, and the first year of a new edition generally is not that reliable.

2026 Toyota Camry review
This is the car to have for its segment. It’s beautifully designed. It’s reliable. It’s great on gas. I’m getting 43 mpg. It’s actually fast too with its torquey electric motors assisting its bullet proof 2.5 liter four cylinder. Comfortable leather interior is gorgeous.

2026 Toyota Crown Signia review
I am very satisfied with my new Crown Signia. For the first time in 55-years of car ownership I had to read the owners manual as it has lots of "bells and whistles". It was rated by Consumer Reports as the top rated two row SUV along with the Honda Passport. The Passport is estimated at 20-MPG and the Crown Signia which is a hybrid at 38-MPG. That made the decision easy. The wireless phone charger is a disappointment as I have to take the phone out of the case to charge. The hands-free rear hatch open/ close does not always work. Come on Toyota, everything on your flagship vehicle should work as advertised.

Five Stars for Hyundai of Folsom Lake and Cory Today we picked up my daughter's 2015 Hyundai Sonata after a lengthy repair process, and I wanted to recognize the outstanding service we received from Hyundai of Folsom Lake. From the beginning, Cory set the standard for what customer service should look like. Communication was prompt, clear, and transparent. Every question was answered honestly, every update was provided when promised, and at no point did we feel like we were being left in the dark. Even when the news wasn't what we had hoped for, Cory communicated it professionally and with genuine respect. Our experience at Hyundai of Folsom Lake stands in sharp contrast to another local dealership. We initially contacted Roseville Hyundai, but were told it would be approximately 30 days before they could even inspect a vehicle that had been determined to be unsafe to drive due to a fuel system issue. That delay ultimately led us to Hyundai of Folsom Lake—a decision that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. While I was disappointed with Hyundai Motor America's final decision regarding goodwill assistance, I want to be clear that my experience with Hyundai of Folsom Lake was entirely different. The dealership and its staff treated us with professionalism throughout the process. They accurately diagnosed the problem, clearly explained the repair, advocated on our behalf during the goodwill review, and kept us informed every step of the way. Too often, dealerships only hear from customers when something goes wrong. In this case, Hyundai of Folsom Lake—and especially Cory—deserve recognition for doing things right. If you're looking for a Hyundai dealership in the Sacramento region that values communication, honesty, and customer service, I would not hesitate to recommend Hyundai of Folsom Lake. 2026 Hyundai VENUE review
The Venue is a fantastic small car, perfect for driving around town. It's easy to park, maneuver, and drive. It has great visibility, without big blind spots. It's very comfortable and drives very, very well - far better than I expected for its price. My 6'2" husband fits in it easily, as driver or as passenger. It has quite decent power, and it accelerates faster than our old Honda Civic did. It has great storage capacity for its size, and I love the two-tone styling on the SEL model I bought. It's not a luxury car. It is small, the interior is basic, and there are certainly cars available with more horsepower. Nonetheless, it is an absolutely fabulous car for its size price - I truly don't understand why I don't see more of these on the road! I LOVE my new Hyundai Venue!

2026 Ford Mustang review
I recently purchased a used 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and Love it. The mustang has really improved over the years in style, comfort and performance! The Color is Blue Ember and is a really beautiful color. The flakes in the paint really stand out in the sun. The Coyote Engine gives superb performance and really sounds Great! I Highly recommend getting one especially if you are looking for Performance and Style if you can’t afford a Shelby or a Rouche .To me you can’t go wrong with this High Performance Dark Horse Mustang!

I purchased a 2026 Nissan Sentra SR for my granddaughter who will soon be leaving to attend college at a university in the state of Louisiana. Go Jags! A brief note on how the purchase became a deal. My granddaughter made a phone call to Folsom Lake Nissan in order to verify if a specific vehicle was in stock, Sebastian Galaviz answered the call and informed her that it was in stock and if she liked to come by for a test drive he would have it waiting for her to see and drive. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sebastian with a big beautiful smile and firm handshake and a direct walk to the vehicle as promised. Sebastian is an outstanding salesperson—professional, he is kind, and very friendly. He worked as a team player with two other outstanding gentlemen Mike and Nathan. They all carefully listened to our desires and truly worked hard to remain focused on helping us get the deal we wanted with absolutely no pressure. The three gentlemen friendliness, professionalism, and honesty created a family-oriented atmosphere,and with that experience, it made the whole buying process smooth and enjoyable. 2026 Lexus RX 350h review
The car is beautiful and the interior is very nice. The steering wheel controls for the various function is not easy to understand and make adjustments. It gets the advertised MPG with the Hybrid set up. Acceleration is a little slow but it has plenty of power for me. I would recommend this car.
