In advance I contacted the dealership and explained what I was looking for. He responded in short fashion with a few options to consider. I choose the one that fit my needs. I went off and got a few estimates on my trade in value. We met the following day and in 20 minutes I had what I wanted. They made some money I got a good number for my trade. All that was left was a good rate from a lender. The finance person in similar fashion got a great rate. She had to try a few lenders but in the end the numbers were good. I got the sense that they were not adversaries but we were working towards a common goal. This is my second purchase from this dealership. That’s something I rarely do. I had started with another dealership and the person wouldn’t commit to any price info unless I came on site. For me that’s wasteful. Ashland sheehy didn’t make come onsite until we had agreed in principle on the selling price. Second time here and another good experience. Ask for “Mikey”. Very helpful.

This is the 6th vehicle in eight years we have purchased from Rick Hendrick dealership in Richmond, VA. We would not consider any other dealership even though we have local dealerships for the same makes and models. There was an unforeseen issue at the time of sale with titling the trade-in vehicle, which was unknown by the Rick Hendrick dealership, only to be discovered during the titling process with the Virginia Department of Vehicles. Although the dealership was in the process of correcting the title issue, we decided to trade the vehicle in for a new 2026 GMC Sierra Denali. Working with the sales consultant over the phone, Drew Dunivan, he recommended two Sierras we might be interested in. Upon arrival, and although we never met Drew, he immediately found us and presented both Sierras to us. Drew was extremely knowledgeable of the Sierras and what the Sierras offered. Upon deciding which Sierra we would like to buy, Drew began the trade-in and buying process with us and the sales manager, Mark Wilson. Drew was very efficient with regard to the buying process and completing the required paperwork. We received a fair price for the trade-in from Mark Wilson. He ensured we received all the incentives offered by GM and the Rick Hendrick dealership to include any additional incentives we may be eligible for. We then met with the business manager, Andrew “Elliott” Vaughan. He had already worked several methods of financing for us to choose from, plus offering his recommendation and rationale. He took us through every detail with regard to all the paperwork it requires to trading in our vehicle and purchasing the new one. Even after the paperwork was completed, Elliott explained what was to occur before we left with the new vehicle. After the sale was complete with Elliott, we again met with Drew. He had personally made sure the vehicle was prepped, clean, items were transferred from the trade-in vehicle to the new Sierra and ready for us to drive home. Several days later he called to ask if we had any questions about the Sierra and were successful in transferring OnStar and SirusXM. All the individuals we met during this buying process were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. These are the main reasons we would not go to any other dealership. We would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone.

I went to Carmax on 4th of July. The place was not super packed, so that was great. We had a little 9th month old on tow, and were nervous that it would take us all day to shop. The only thing that took a lot of time was waiting for a sales man. Apparently, the new young guys at the front were more interested in flirting (yes flirting) with each other and playing around than realizing that we needed help or just plainly asking us if we were being helped. That really bothered me, as we wasted 30 mins just sitting dumb. The front desk girl was no help.. she was the one to tell us to sit and wait and then no where to be seen. Finally someone professional and extremely courteous walked by ... the service manager. He quickly apologized for our wait, and brought along Daniel Claudio. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOooooO thankful he did. Danny was professional, kind, humble, hard-working, and just all the way a pleasure to work with. He represented Carmax the way it should be. He took the details of what we were looking for and walked us around to cars that would fit our needs. The second car (nissan pathfinder) was a recommendation from him... and that was the car we bought. Danny if you're reading this... THANK YOU! You're such a great employee and that deserves recognition.

This was my first experience with Pohanka Nissan of Fredericksburg, but I can assure you, it will not be my last! My salesperson, Maya Arakon is both professional as well as personable. She went above & beyond to make sure I walked away happy & with a brand new Murano instead of the used one I was originally looking for! Alex Panameno, the finance Mamager, was also equally awesome! I have purchased many automobiles in my lifetime, however, I have never had a smoother & satisfying experience. These 2 professionals are the definition of a ?dream team?? While this is my first experience with Pohanka, I will be returning when I am ready for another new vehicle. And believe me when I say I will be asking for Maya & Alex again!
2024 Nissan Altima review
Very sporty inside and out. Great gas mileage. I like that it has just the right amount of buttons and dials, not too much. The seats are very comfortable.

2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2024 Nissan Altima review
