2020 Nissan Altima review
I’ve owned a lot of vehicles over the years, and this 2020 Altima SL truly stands out for its balance of comfort, technology, reliability, and value. The SL trim gives it a premium feel inside — heated seats, heated steering wheel, power driver seat, and a power moonroof make it comfortable year-round. The ride is smooth and quiet, and the 2.5 engine delivers excellent fuel economy while still having plenty of power for highway driving. What really makes this car special is the factory lighting package — illuminated Altima plates, ground lighting when the doors open, color-change floor lighting, and illuminated cup holders. At night, the car looks upscale and unique without being flashy. Safety features like front and rear radar, lane assist, and intelligent cruise control make long drives stress-free and modern. Everything works exactly as it should. The interior is clean, the body is in great condition, and it’s been well maintained. Great car for commuting. Have high safety scores which I tested on March 30th. I was hit from behind at 50mph and I walked away. My 2022 Monarch Orange/Black Sentra SR was shortened by 3 feet front and back. I just bought a 2023 Gun metal/Black SR Premium to replace the 2022. Best small car I driven to date.

2025 Nissan Sentra review
This car does exactly what I needed a new car to do. I bought mine in July of 2025 and now 7 months later I have not had one issue with it. It gets great gas mileage, is very comfortable and I love the info system and stereo, For the money you cannot go wrong, this is my first foreign car and now I am done paying a arm and a leg for anything from Ford or GM.

I originally wanted an F150 but price, size and quality issues made me rethink that purchase. I test drove the only available Ranger within 100 miles and did not like it as much as the Canyon. 2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2025 Nissan Sentra review
This is a well put together vehicle. Interior fit and finish, even for the base S model, is splendid and many newer safety features come standard. The seats on the base S are very comfortable on long drives. Ive read a few "pro" reviews that mentioned the engine being underpowered, especially for highway passing. I have found the opposite out of this beautiful 149 hp CVT. I mean it's 149 hp, not 189; not sure where any complaint of being underpowered comes from? And, the CVT has wonderfully placed mimick shift points that make you feel like its a non-cvt transmission. Besides being ahead of the others with the interior, it's a well insulated cabin which deafens quite a bit of road noise. If your thinking about a Nissan Sentra, don't listen to these "professional" knucklehead reviewers. I believe they're not as accurate as the average Joe like us and have lost sight of what a great entry level sedan is.

2024 Nissan Sentra review
I recently purchased a 2024 Sentra SV with the premium package. I also currently own a 2020 Sentra SV (no upgraded package). I've owned that one for 4 years with 80k miles on it now. Great, reliable car. Very comfortable seats, great gas mileage, very good standard stereo system. I love the layout of everything for HVAC controls and radio. The dash display with speed limit sign recognition is great as well. I have had zero problems with the 2020 Sentra (I'm passing that car along to my daughter so not getting rid of it). For the 2024, the only notable differences are the transmission (it was upgraded in 2024) and the stereo controls. The transmission seems more responsive now in keeping rpms low without losing any acceleration. Very quiet car without the whining on the CVT. (there is some but not bad). The stereo on the premium package includes Bose speakers. I was hoping they would be a great upgrade but noticed no real improvement; maybe even slightly worse than the standard setup. In my 2020 Sentra, there is a sound adjustment for the midrange and a bass enhancer you can turn on/off. The new one does not have these selections. It sounds like too much midrange so kind of distorted and not crisp like I expect the Bose to be. Other than that, the car performs the same. It's a perfect reliable commuter car with enough features to keep you happy and comfortable on long drives. I have no issue with pickup or highway driving. I highly recommend.

Very sporty inside and out. Great gas mileage. I like that it has just the right amount of buttons and dials, not too much. The seats are very comfortable.

2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2025 Nissan Altima review
Surprising power on the highway. Great gas mileage. Very roomy interior, and the dash and radio buttons and components are very easy to see and use. We chose this over an Accord, initially because the local Honda dealer is crazy, but we like everything about it.

I HAD TWO (MINOR?) PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN SENTRA SV 2024 SO FAR; REPAIRED BY THE CAR BASIC WARRANTY (I ONLY ‘PAID’ IN TIME WAITING IN THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER). 1. BATTERY SUDDENLY DRAINED: THE PROBLEM BEGAN AT AROUND 3,200 MILES AND IT TOOK THREE DIAGNOSTIC VISITS, THE LAST ONE FOCUSING ON THE PARASITIC DRAIN, TO FIND A PROBLEM INVOLVING THE BATTERY. BATTERY AND RELATED PARTS REPLACED SUCCESSFULLY (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY). 2. POWER WINDOWS MECHANISM BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS AROUND 5,200 MILES (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY).

2025 Nissan Altima review
I've owned 7 total with 0 issues. The cvt is quick and responsive. The exhaust has a nice tone to it. Seats are comfortable I've owned German luxury cars and I prefer the Altima seats. I love my car.

After checking all around for a lightly used Honda or Toyota minivan, I settled on CarMax since they had the ability to transfer several possible cars from nearby stores. I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. The whole transaction was done professionally and without any extra sales pressure or tactics. This is the 2nd car in the last 6 years I've bought from CarMax and I'd certainly shop them again.
2016 Nissan Maxima review
2016 Maxima SR just hit 170k miles today. It's been rock solid. CVT has been serviced every 30k and still runs great. Engine has had zero repairs. Still gets 31 MPG on trips. Every feature still works as they did new. The past couple weeks we had weather in the negative temperatures, it started the first try with zero hesitation every day. Our same year Chrysler struggled to start in the cold. This car has redeemed Nissan, we had a Rogue previously that was pretty junky. The Maxima is the best value out there!

2022 Nissan Sentra review
Extremely satisfied with our new Nissan Sentra SV. Beautiful new exterior design giving it a very sporty look.
