I made my first visit to Porsche Central Austin over a year ago, and left with such trepidation due to my overall impression of the dealership. Fast forward to May 2017 with the dealer under new ownership my worries were put to rest. The professionalism of Thomas McCall (TR) and his team gave me the confidence to purchase a 2017 Panamera. I look forward to continuing to do business with Porsche of Central Austin and their great team!

Never though I could feel this way. I found a perfect traveling companion, always eager to please, gives unerringly whenever asked and does so unfailingly. Easy on the eye, passers by stare at her beauty. Graced with power, intelligence and a commanding presence with a softness within that belies her strength. Cayman S. Mine forever!

Mark Hakim - A Terrific Salesman at Porsche Central Austin

Mark Hakim, our sales person was warm, friendly knowledgeable and very personable! He was quite professional - from initial contact to delivery. We went to the dealership to look at the Porsche Cayenne. We owned one in 2007- but a lot had changed since then... Mark was very up to date on the Porsche products and able to point out and demonstrate the newest features. Everyone else at the dealership that we came in contact with was very warm, friendly and helpful as well- including Mike in parts. He went out of his way to show us what products Porsche offers... Coty Mckee -in Finance- put all the paperwork together and completed everything in a very timely manner. He was very personable and professional! The vehicle was delivered to us in immaculate condition - and full of gas!!
Just a perfect sports car

I’d love an extra 30-40 hp but understand why it has what it has. The balance is perfect. The driving experience is sublime. In GTS trim the look is aggressive but very classy. Mine is all black with the black 20” wheels and it turns heads more than a Cayman has a right to! You will not regret any Cayman purchase - but the sound from the 14-16 sport exhaust is a dream.

Our experience with Porsche Central Austin has been nothing but excellent. We have purchased 3 vehicles, new and used from Karrie Kirby and her knowledge of Porsche is unsurpassed. Our service representative, Richard Walker is very understanding and goes out of his way to help out and answer any questions or address any issues we have had in the past. Katy Love is very professional as well as friendly!

Highest Quality Used Cars I've Ever Seen

I drive by this dealership on my way home from work everyday and saw how cool their cars are and just had to stop by to see what all they had since I had the day off and was bored. I'm not in any position to buy a car right now (I will be in a few months) and I usually I hate doing this because I get swarmed by sales guys I really don't want to talk to so I was really hesitant to get out of my car. When I did, I was greeted by Jake, a young man that knows more about cars than I did, and I have to say I immediately felt comfortable and it was so refreshing to talk about a mutual respect for cars instead of when I was gonna be buying something. He showed me around and then took me inside and I almost started laughing because the inside of this place is nicer than most 5 star hotels, which you'd never know from driving past it. The owner, Cody Sutton, came out and talked to me for quite a while about cars and motorcycles and made me feel like I was welcomed as a car guy, not just a potential paycheck. I wish I was in the position to buy a car because I've never had this type of experience where I actually wanted to stick around a car dealership. Go check these guys out if you can, amazing place and amazing people, not your typical dealership.

My 2008 Porsche Cayman is hands down the best handling car I’ve ever driven. I usually beat challengers off the line, but I know this car is not the fastest off the line. I’ve hit 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds and run all out on the straight aways at 162 mph (top speed is reported at 171, but I’ve not achieved that my one time on the short track). The joy of this car is in the handling! Nothing comes close. Any muscle or exotic out there who relies on brute strength off the line is immediately put to shame in the first turn. On country backroads, this Cayman is King. And, true to Porsche’s reputation, this car is built for the driver. It’s simple interior is refined and sporty at the same time and it’s overall reliability is second to none.

I recently purchased my 6th car from BMW Austin with Troy Massey. The dealership and facilties are beautiful and comfortable, which makes waiting for any maintenance or repairs actually pleasant. The buying process with Troy has always been easy, respectful, and no pressure. Overall I was once again satisfied and look forward to my 7th car in a few yrs.
Beautiful and Reliable

The Cayman was an extension of Porsche's successful (and still being built) Boxster series, but, in my opinion, much more beautiful. Here in 110-degree Austin temperatures, convertibles have no value, except to allow additional heat, sound, and rainwater intrusion, so the Cayman ticks all those boxes in a positive way. It requires a bit of effort to "saddle up", but once inside, both driver and passenger are treated to wonderfully ergonomic leather seating. I've owned almost 100 cars in my lifetime, ranging from multiple Porsches, Mercedes, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Lotus.. you name it. Hands down, this is unquestionably the best car I've owned to date, including past ownership of a 911. Handling is flawless.. smooth-as-silk clutch takeup and tight manual shifter action, perfect, slop-free steering with just the right amount of power assist and road feedback. And these 987 engines have a long history of bulletproof reliability. A big plus when considering the daunting Porsche service and parts costs. Also, in spite of the apparent confined access to the mid-engine compartment, most all standard service items.. belt replacement, oil and filter changes, etc. appear to be simple, DIY tasks for the average home shade tree mechanic. All in all, in my opinion, one of the best cars on the road today, and the earlier years represent incredible bargains against their new-model brethrens's prices.
