2023 Porsche 911 review
What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

2023 Porsche Macan review
Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

All work required to make my vehicle repairs and checks complete and correct we’re performed to my total satisfaction while I waited in the comfortable customer waiting area as work was supervised under the outstanding guidance of Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. He is well trained, experienced, intelligent, and dedicated as I have seen first hand when he has worked with me. 2018 Porsche Panamera review
I have a Panamera 4 and it is the best car I have ever owned. After 5 years it has never let me down- not even once- and besides the recall notices that were always handled during regularly scheduled visits nothing has needed attention. The fit and finish and styling are still totally on point after all this time. The car looks and drives exactly like it did when new despite 30,000 miles. Also, I have 21’ wheels and thought I would have to replace the tires by now. However, they are chunky and full of tread. I drove 1000 miles in one day last week averaging 77mph and 29.5mpg. Great performance and a long drive in one day. It was so nice on the road and my body despite the longest drive of my life! Fit and finish, quality of the components, and tech that is totally up to date after 5 years. Wow. Loved it! I also own a cayenne and a 2015 Mercedes S class. The Mercedes is not close to the quality unfortunately.

2020 Porsche 911 review
I used to own this C4S and it caused me freak out multiple times if I would take to the train station to get to work the battery wouldn’t work most of the times I got it replaced but it just wouldn’t work. Performance is great though. I wouldn’t daily it would though that’s why I switched the 2022 BMW M850i it’s luxurious it has decent power sound great stock an is very reliable and also looks pretty good. Overall get it if you have 2 or more cars don’t if this will be the only one.

2001 Porsche Boxster review
I've dreamed of owning a 911 Turbo since I was in my teens. I'm now 63 years old and don't need to drive 150mph anymore. Last year my wife and I decided to look for a convertible to recapture the days of when we first started dating in 1987 when she had a 1982 Fiat Spyder 2000 convertible. We traded that in 2004 on a BMW 330Xi. We had a pretty sweet deal lined up on a 2008 BMW Z4 until the day before we went to pick it up and found out the dealer sold it from under us. What could have really sucked turned into a golden opportunity: we chanced upon a 2001 Boxster S with 59,000 original miles. We have not regretted the decision one bit. Yes, the ergonomics are somewhat dated compared to today and it's not the latest and greatest technology, but we bought it to drive, not to be distracted with all sorts of gizmos. (I'm employed as a Sales representative at a local Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Dealer for over 35 years. I'm exposed to all the technology). This little Bavarian bomber is an absolute blast to drive; comfortable, quick, sticks to the road like burnt eggs to a cast iron frying pan, and turns heads everywhere. It's capable of 160+ mph, but the right road at 55 mph brings grins all the time. We just went for a weekend trip with it and had no problem with room for our luggage, a tote bag, and a small soft-sided cooler. And as an added bonus, we took it through the famed Hawk's Nest Highway on Route 97 north of Port Jervis, NY. Wonderful to drive, comfortable even after a couple hours, fuel-efficient (except when I play with the Tiptronic on a twisty road), and so far, dead-bolt reliable. So I didn't get my 911 Turbo; the Boxster S is a more than welcome consolation prize. You owe it to yourself. P.S- My wife drives it more than I do!
