Carter Subaru BallardReviews
Carter Subaru Ballard review
My wife and I recently leased our very first Subaru from Carter Subaru - a 2019 Subaru Forester. We were fortunate enough to have Steven Mackie as our salesperson and he was seriously fantastic. Incredibly kind, thoughtful, and a sincere listener as we chatted through what we were looking for in a new vehicle. He gets us :) Mark Arbar, our finance rep, was also a joy to work with and kind as well. Overall, we highly recommend the experience of looking for a new or used car at Carter and couldn't speak more highly of Steven and Mark.

Of all the Subaru dealerships I contacted, Justin was by far the easiest to work with. He communicated consistently while I was out of town, respected my timeline, and never pressured me. Salespeople like Justin are hard to find. Thanks to him, Evan in financing, and the entire team.

As someone who feeds my own family through sales, I truly appreciate exceptional customer service—and Andrew delivered exactly that! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. Andrew struck the perfect balance between being personable and professional. He made sure we had all the answers we needed to make an informed decision, responded promptly, and never once made us feel like we were taking up too much of his time. He genuinely made us feel like family. Even better, he respected our time and made the final process quick and painless without keeping us there for hours. That kind of service makes all the difference! Do yourself a favor and ask for Andrew by name. He’ll take great care of you!

Carter Subaru Ballard review
We live in Burien, so this was not the closest Subaru dealership, but we liked it a lot better than the one in Renton. I hate shopping for and buying cars, but I felt that Carter made it as painless as possible. We worked with Bryan Deando, who was wonderful. We ended up with a certified preowned Impreza, which I'm very happy with. Everyone was very friendly, it seemed very low pressure, and Bryan was very well-informed. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a Subbie!

Carter Subaru Ballard review
We worked with Brittany New when buying our Certified Pre Owned Impreza and it was an easy, stress free experience. Not only is she knowledgeable about her trade but is a very likable person who was always responsive to my questions via email or phone. She made herself available to us, although I'm sure she was juggling many "xxxxx" at any given moment that hardly seemed apparent. She made sure the process was simple for us and that we were getting what we wanted. Highly recommend!
2026 Subaru Forester review
I bought this 2026 Subaru Forester Premium to replace the 2026 KIA Sportage that we had bought back in November 25. The KIA wasn't bad but the service department sucks. It had peeling paint on the bumper, and they denied the warranty claim, I started thinking if they are going to deny peeling paint what happens when something goes wrong with the engine or transmission. So much for their 10-year 100,000-mile warranty, what a joke. We currently own a 2024 Subaru Outback and now the 2026 Subaru Forester. All of the Subarus that we have own have treated us good, just make sure that keep up with maintenance and they last a long time. Landers Mclartys Subaru in Huntsville, AL, treated very fair with our trade-in and price on both vehicles,

I purchased my Subaru Crosstrek from this dealer 10 years back and since then getting routine maintenance done.Few years back I faced a tricky situation after an incident with my car - but the service department - especially Oakley helped me get thru with ease. This month along with routine, 6 yearly was done - again Oakley was there to walk me thru it. I say good cars attract good dealership and their great staff too. Thank you Eastside and best wishes !
2026 Subaru Forester review
I just recently purchased my first Subaru although all of my family members owned them for years. I purchased a touring Forester and I love it It is spacious and very quiet and ride beautifully. It's a great value and my insurance company agrees with the safeties of Subaru.

Carter Subaru Ballard review
We were looking for a pre-owned Certified Forester. Carter Subaru in Shoreline had the car we had been looking for, for over 3 months. Steve, the salesman was kind, not pushy and very knowledgeable of all the tech on our 19 Forester. The purchasing process was easy. We were in and out in less than an hour. It was worth the 3-hr drive from our home in north central WA to Shoreline. Our (my wife's) Outback has a LOT more miles than our (my) "new" 19 Forester, so when our Outback wears out we will be giving Steve a call to find another Outback for my wife. Thanks again Carter Subaru of Shoreline, you're the best !

Rairdon Subaru of Auburn review
I initially communicated with Giovanny by email and was impressed by his willingness to listen to my needs. When we met he was friendly, patient, and willing to answer every question honestly. There was no attempt at hurrying me to buy a car or over selling. He genuinely wanted to give me a positive experience at the dealership. The bonus was that he sold me a car! He excelled at authentic customer service.

Carter Subaru Ballard review
I'd like to echo what Bill Taraday said about working with Brittany New. She's incredible! We came in to test drive the Subaru Forester, and was quickly impressed at her wealth, and depth of knowledge. Once she understood my priorities, she made some additional recommendations, which were spot on. I came back and purchased a used VW with Brittany's help, and never felt pressured. It was genuinely a pleasurable purchasing experience, and would highly recommend working with Brittany. We will be back!

Dwayne Pruit is one of the best sales person I've met. Answered all of the questions I had were answered and it was a smooth and easy process. Thanks Dwayne and Crown Subaru of Chattanooga, TN.

The CarMax process was so refreshing to someone used to a lengthy back and forth price process. Our salesman was so friendly and efficient.
2026 Subaru Forester review
Rid is my third Subaru since 1984. First was a Subaru station wagon, had for 20 yrs, 220,000 miles. Second was a 2004 Subaru Forester. Just sold to another individual for $2,000 with 184,000 miles on it. Still running, original air, only issue was check engine light being on and couldn’t find what issue was. New owner thinks he may have identified and hoping to be fixed. I was hoping he might get another 100,000 miles out of car. He said he would be thrilled with 50,000. Just bought a brand new 2026 basic Forester. Love it even with all the new electronics on it.

Everyone at Tacoma Subaru was fantastic! Especially Steven whom I worked with. Explained everything! I would definitely recommend them to all.
2026 Subaru Forester review
This is my second Subaru, I just returned a 2024 Crosstrek, after three different Rav4’s I lease. I got the 2026 Subaru Forester Onyx Sport Edition. It’s all blacked out, with 17 inch wheels and Harmon audio, remote start, panoramic sunroof, all the safety features you name. I am in love with this thing so much higher up than the Crosstrek, more pick up, roomier, just all around better. I even like it better than any of my Ravs.

Kendall Subaru of Marysville review
We had a very positive experience at this location. Because of current supply chain issues, they did not have the car we wanted on the lot. Nancy was great in helping us get one ordered. Once in Crystal was wonderful about going over all of the features of our new Outback. In financing, Tony was so friendly and got us through our paperwork quickly. Overall I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Kendall Subaru of Marysville did it once again! This is the seventh car deal we have done with David Jennings. My parents needed a new Forester, and he went above and beyond just like every other car deal he has handled for us. He is truly the top salesperson in the auto group. If you want a process that is simple, quick, and easy, David is your guy! Recommend 100%—this place has a premium feel. You will love it! Don’t forget to ask for David Jennings! Thanks, Travis Smith!
