Hoffman Honda review
ASK FOR SIMON ... DRIVE AWAY WITH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND A BEAUTIFUL CAR Recently, my car lease expired so I decided to reconnect with my longtime go-to at Hoffman Honda of Avon/Simsbury — Simon Karikari. Admittedly, prior to my visit to the dealership, I felt a little skeptical about whether Simon and team would have something this go round that would truly fit my needs. However, within minutes of my arrival, Simon proved once again why I had come back. From start to finish, the sales experience was smooth, relaxed, and pressure-free. Most of the paperwork was handled ahead of time online, and once I arrived, everything moved quickly and efficiently. For his part, it should be mentioned that Simon is personable, professional, and genuinely easy to work with. No sales gimmicks, no awkward pushing — just a down-to-earth guy who knows how to make the process simple and comfortable. A shoutout as well to Mix, who was equally professional, transparent, and easy to talk to throughout the process. And then came the best part — seeing the car: a beautiful 2026 Honda Civic. I was delighted. Even without being the top trim/model, Honda consistently equips these cars with impressive features and a sleek, modern design inside and out. The entire experience felt seamless, reassuring, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end. If you’re considering a Honda, I'd highly recommend Hoffman Honda of Avon/Simsbury. Ask for Simon Karikari — he’ll take great care of you, and there’s a very good chance you’ll leave smiling behind the wheel of a beautiful new car.

Car has an excellent ride. It is quiet. The comfort, interior quality is very good including leather seats. Fit and finish is very good. I enjoy the quality.

2021 Subaru Outback review
My family has owned Subarus for a very long time, starting in the late 90's with my parents, an 89 Legacy L wagon, then a 2005 Outback XT, continuing with my wife and I. Our last Subaru, a 2002 Legacy GT wagon (a pretty rare car here in the US, even the Subaru-crazy Portland-metro area) was stolen during Covid. We went Subaru-less until June 8 2026, when we picked up the 45000 mile 2021 Outback XT Limited. The Limited trim is one rung below the top-trim Touring XT and above the Onxy XT. For the curious, XT= the turbo engine version, which I HIGHLY recommend if you actually enjoy driving your car like I do (and other perks). Why did we choose the Limited XT over a truck or another SUV/crossover? 1) The styling. Love it or hate it, wagons are just cool. They've grown on me. It's just different from everything else on the road. 2) I like the carlike ride, driving dynamics, comfort, but the SUV-like interior space, ground clearance and driving position (OB's have 8.7 inches of ground clearance). The Limited trim is the best one in my opinion because you get upgraded interior sound-deadening (thicker window glass, more insulation), upgraded stereo (which sounds awesome), and memory for the driver seat (2 presets). Here's what I like: It's a Subaru without the Subaru quirks from prior generations. It's quiet inside. Just as quiet or more than our Volvo XC90 V8. Even the 2019 3.6R Touring we test drove was noisier inside. The ride is very smooth. Seats are very comfortable for long-hauls. Vancouver, WA to Bend, OR and no aches or pains or cramps. Handling is also good, better than a SUV. This isn't nimble like a Miata or Honda Civic, but for a 3900 lb car it's great. The powertrain. I love the 2.4 turbo engine. It's smooth, quiet, and makes all its torque by 2000 RPM. The non-turbo Outback gets along okay without the 2.5 non-turbo, but the XT makes a huge difference when you want it. It's much faster than the 3.6R it replaced and gets better fuel economy. Personally, unless you want the extra fuel economy, there's no reason not to get the XT. Fuel economy? Highway cruising 70-75 mph is 28 mpg. Pulling grades or a load of gear drops it to 27 mpg. Heavy-footed driving in town and the mileage is rough at times: I saw a low 17.5 once, but it's usually 22 to 23 in town if I keep my foot out of it (that's hard). Here's what I'm not sold on after over a month of ownership. The CVT: If you're coming from only driving conventional automatics, there's a learning curve on how to drive it smoothly. Smooth is the keyword. let the transmission do the work. You can paddle shift it, but it's better to leave it in D. The power delivery could be better. Again, it's a CVT. Off the line foot to the floor and there's a waiting period before it goes. However, like 30 to 80 mph is wild! Like 3 seconds, and onramps are fun! Again, fuel economy isn't fantastic, real-world mixed driving is 22-23 mpg. The infotainment system: Starlink will require getting used to. None of our cars have ever had one, so it's not a big deal for me, but someone used to one may have moments of frustration with the lag and slow response to inputs. Just be patient and it gets bearable over time. Android Auto is USB tether-only along with CarPlay. It works fine, but again...laggy. The display washes out some in sunlight, so you may have to turn the dimmer up. I had to make a habit of turning off auto stop start as soon as I start the engine now. I despise auto stop-start! Whose idea was that anyway? So, should you get a Gen 6 Outback. Yes. The Gen 7's are what I consider blasphemy for Subie folks like me...they now look like everything else on the road, but that's here nor there. I really like the XT and it will be our car for a good while.

2026 Subaru Outback review
I love Subaru automobiles. I usually buy Forresters, I trade up every 3 years. My only complaint with the Forrester is the cabin noise is loud. When I went to the dealership I saw a different looking Subaru. It was the 2026 Outback which had been redesigned and looked like a SUV not a station wagon. I drove it and boom, problem solved. The outside noise was not loud at all. It had the same great features, plus more than my Forrester had. I fell in love! The new color an emerald green caught my eye and I have had many compliments on it. The ride is smooth, it is roomier than the Forrester. I am so happy with my purchase

Suburban Subaru review
just bought my third Suburu from Suburban and honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else. salespeople are knowledgeable and no pressure. Amanda was my salesperson and was very patient as I looked at multiple vehicles and then she found me my perfect one. Finance lady was also great...found me an amazing rate AND a discounted bumper to bumper warranty for 9 years (Not that any of my Suburus have needed it: 8 years with my last Forester and no issues at all) a really wonderful experience with this team
2026 Subaru Outback review
I had some weird requirements. I bought a full-sized spare exactly like the other wheels/tires on the car so I wanted it to fit in the wheel well. It did that. I also wanted a car that had a very convenient way of turning off the auto on/off feature where the car's engine turns off when you come to a light. I also wanted AWD. The cabin is quieter than my previous car so that's also a plus. The seats are very comfortable. The only small negative is that the map lights are very weak. I will have them replaced with LED bulbs at the car's first oil change at 3000 miiles.

2026 Subaru Outback review
I have the 2026 Subaru Outback Premium. The car drives great (super smooth/quiet) and the new interior/driver controls are fantastic. Both the climate control and the entertainment system are vast improvement over the 2025 Outback. The sound system is really good for being the Premium model. I got 28 mpg on the first tank of gas and am getting 29 mpg on the second tank of gas. Mostly city driving. I paid right at $33k, which is fantastic value for this great of a car.

Suburban Subaru review
Everything went very smoothly. They had the vehicle I was looking for. The salesman, Ed W. was knowledgeable, customer friendly and patient. We were buying this vehicle for our business so a little more involved. The vehicle was nicely cleaned, prepared and even had a tank full of gas. I plan on going back and working with Ed on a personal vehicle.
2021 Subaru Outback review
So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

Excellent visit as usual, work done correctly . Car taken in very quickly.
2025 Subaru Outback review
I'd say I'm brand-loyal to Subaru, given the ratings and history of the company and its emphasis on charitable contributions to animal and environmental causes, as well as my long time enjoyment of my former Subaru. So, when I needed to replace my 2008 Outback, my decision to upgrade to a new Outback was easy. As for the 2025, compared with the 2008, I am happy with the many "automated" features (like eyesight assisted braking and lane correction, adaptive cruise control, auto dimming brights, Auto Vehicle Hold, etc). Overall, I love the car. On the downside: I do not love the larger size. It feels like the seats and armrests were designed for a larger person than my 2008 Subie was (because the average body size of people had increased in recent years??}, and it's not an ideal fit for me. Also, the angled door armrests do not easily allow for actually resting my arm; it feels like I'm slipping off of it. I wish Subaru had not increased the size of the Outback, which now feels more like an SUV than a wagon. Maybe when I take my first car-camping trip, I'll appreciate the roomier interior.

It was a pleasure working with Jon as my service advisor. I brought my 2022 Impreza in because the check engine light came on and it was also due for regular maintenance. Jon gave me all information on the diagnosis, what would be covered under my warranty, and estimated repair costs. He arranged for a loaner car while mine was being repaired and the repairs were done promptly so I had my car back in a few days. I was very satisfied with the work that was done.

My experience with the Mitchell dealership couldn’t have been better. I had a number I wanted to spend and the car I was looking for. I met Nicole she was kind, inviting and knowledgeable. She showed me the car, we test drove it and I was sold. BTW the car was in excellent condition and well taken care of. Better than I expected. I offered my price and it was excepted. It was fair for me and them. They excepted it without hassle. We did the paperwork and it was done. Nicole and the others involved were pleasant with no pressure to buy extras. I will be back and would definitely recommend them.
2026 Subaru Outback review
This is my third Subaru but my first Outback. I loved my Legacy and my Forester but this vehicle is overall better in most ways. The ride and comfort is outstanding and the performance is adequate for my needs. The Infotainment system and climate controls are perfect. The built-in navigation needs lots of changes and I wouldn't recommend it right now as it tells me to turn left when you need to turn right. It even sometimes shows the opposite direction on the map. The speed limits shown is often wrong as well like the maps are out of date. Wireless Android Auto doesn't work well either and often blanks out. I hope that these items will be fixed via updates. This vehicle is a pleasure to drive.

Buying a car can be stressful and overwhelming. When I went into Mitchell Subaru, Colin was the first to approach me shake my hand, smile kindly, and introduce himself. He helped me through this process and with the financing piece of it as well. He was patient as he knew that this was not an experience I like to have. This is the second car that I’ve bought from Mitchell Subaru but the fourth Subaru that I have had. I highly recommend not only Mitchell Subaru but Colin as he guided me through this process. 2025 Subaru Outback review
I have owned Subaru wagons both used and new from 1984 until present. I own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5 which I bought new. It has 220,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance and a couple rear wheel bearings, it is doing great! I also own a 2025 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5, I currently have 24,000 miles in it. Only real nuisances are the center tablet and no buttons or dials for hvac. It’s frankly a safety issue to play with a screen just to change hvac settings-dumb. 2026 they got smarter but changed the style for the worse. Additionally, the OEM tires are starting to sing at 24,000 miles. The first 24k the car was whisper quiet. Now I have to blast the radio to drown out the hum. Subaru needs to quit playing with cheap OEM tires. Throw a set of Michelins on there to start… The seats are comfortable-a great improvement over the seat design used from 2015-2019. I got rid of a new 2017 Outback after 95,000 miles because the seating was like sitting on slate. A complaint I have is the overuse of “safety nannies” which are too sensitive and could cause an accident rather than prevent one. Case in point, car can slam on the brakes for you if it thinks you are doing something abnormal that you probably do all the time. I dislike the 8 speed trans. My 6 speed is better on the 2012. 8 speeds are too many. No issues shifting or anything, CVT “shifts” fine. I still get 30 mpg Hwy on the 2012 and 32-34 on the 2025 Hwy. Subarus are wonderful vehicles but they better watch out so they don’t get too much more expensive or start following the crowd too much. Cars in general are too high priced…

Suburban Subaru review
We recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new car from Suburban Subaru in Vernon, CT, and we can't speak highly enough about the outstanding service we received. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the expertise and dedication of Dan Leary, the Product Specialist who assisted us throughout the process. From the moment we stepped into the dealership, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dan greeted us with a friendly smile and immediately made us feel at ease. He took the time to listen to our needs and preferences, ensuring that he understood exactly what we were looking for in a new car. Dan's knowledge of the Subaru lineup was truly impressive. 2022 Subaru Outback review
We purchased the Touring model. We absolutely love this car. 2022 was the first year the Touring model had cooling seats. Cooling seats should be a necessity for people with neurodegenerative disorders who have difficulty regulating their body temperature.

Imperial SubaruReviews
Imperial Subaru review
My wife and I leased a forester for 3 years and decided to buy a CROSTREK 2025 . WE decided our joints couldn't quite get used to getting in and out so we went back and purchased a 2026 Forester. We had a stress less experience buying a car with Emily Messier who walked us through a great experience. Rmilu is professional and very friendly. I would recommend any interested new car buyer to visit Imperial Subaru in Foxborough and seeing Emily for a great car buying experience. We were so pleased with Emily and I am sure we would go back again. Thank you EMILY.

Bob Johnson Used review
One of the best experiences I have ever had. From the initial call speaking to the representative Jordan, boarding a flight out of JFK Airport, being picked up by Jordan at Rochester Airport, Transporting us to the dealership in Avon, all paper work ready to sign. Everyone at the dealership were friendly, courteous, and professional. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!! Michael M.
2024 Subaru Outback review
We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.
