I drove my Pearl across the country from California to Tampa Florida, with no issues! Dependable/reliable and durable. Pearl was love at first site and thanks to the folks at Capitol Subaru, California I was able to finance my Subaru, with not stellar credit they helped. Now my car is fully paid for and I love my Outback. I got my son to buy his own 2016 Subaru!
Five stars are not enough to properly rate everything Gateway! They are better than the best! This was not my first purchase from Gateway, and each experience has been great.

I Love this car! I have looked for a Subaru Outback for almost 2 years and finally found the car I wanted! I have only had it a few days, but I am so happy with it already. I LOVE my heated seats, they come in handy in this cold weather. My visibility is awesome. I sit a bit higher than my last car and have no problem seeing clearly out of every window. The back-up camera comes in handy in those tight spots too! This vehicle handles like a dream! The AWD will come in handy when I am traveling for work also. I highly recommend a Subaru to anyone looking for a good, solid, reliable car.
Kevin Miller was very helpful in getting us the car we wanted from another location and throughout the purchase experience. Each person we dealt with in the process, including Brian and Zach, was friendly and considered our needs. Kevin is very patient when I ask my dozens of questions. This is my adventure car. It is great in the rain and snow and for heading to the mountain trails. The ground clearance is great for the rough mountain roads. Love it.
Across the board, Sales, Sales Management, and Financial, all parts of the buying experience was flawless. No hassle, no pressure and always accommodating. This is our 2nd purchase from Gateway and again, easy and professional. Highly recommend this team.

I am very happy with my 2014 Outback. My previous 2013 Outback saved my life when I was T-boned by a large pickup truck that ran a red light. I was able to climb out of the car and walk away but sadly the car was a total loss. I think a different car might not have been sturdy enough to protect me so well. I immediately replaced it with the same car but the newer year. I also love the comfortable seats, the smooth ride and the fun Nav features. I’m a Subaru fan for life.
Barb was very welcoming and listened to our needs in purchasing a new car. She took the time to described and clearly explain the differences and benefits between the two vehicles models we were considering . Once we agreed on our vehicle, she immediately began to orchestrate the deal components including a minor cosmetic repair that was important to us. She was extremely helpful with the delivery of the vehicle explaining simply and in depth the features and functions of our new car. Her overall attention to the details made this a very transaction extremely smooth and satisfying.

The 2019 Subaru Outback is a joy to drive; beautiful leather interior; roomy. I love the heated front and back seats and the smoothness of the drive!
We would highly recommend Gateway Subaru as a great place to buy a vehicle. Barb Sieger was a terrific salesperson. No hassle or pressure. Showed us all the Outback and Forester features and worked with us on the final price of our first Subaru. Zach was also great in helping us complete the deal.

Just what I want in a car. It holds the road on ice and snow and is a pleasure to drive year around. My last Subaru, a 2000 purchased new had no major problems until it died an official death at alnost 300,000 miles.
Although we had a good rapport with Barbara and she was very welcoming and not high pressure which we liked. We were somewhat disappointed with the total time the transaction took. At times when we had questions there was no one in the showroom to ask other than the young lady at the front desk and of course she could only page someone to address our questions. The Subaru that we purchased had many, many upgrades of technology and it would have been nice to learn some of those options at a slower pace for older folks like us. Hope this might help for future sales. We do love this vehicle so far.

Comfortable and smart interior, sporty handling. Looks good on the outside, plenty of space in trunk, seats fold down very easily. Good all round visibility

Mechanically sound, good fit and finish. Excellent fuel economy for an awd suv, excellent safety assist features (Eyesight)
Horrendous user interface for all infotainment - I have never sworn so much at a car - all electronic controls were counter intuitive. Some were just plain stupid such as when putting car in reverse, as rear view camera comes on there is no way to mute stereo which is set at same level/station as when the car was last turned off! Even the window controls operated the opposite way I have been accustomed (down position of switch feels like it should be up, etc.)
Another con, I found the seat cushions to be too short (inadequate length under thigh towards the knee) for long trips.
Very odd that a car that could have been so good, struck out in such basic, easily correctable ways. They should fire their electronics designer and borrow some seat ergonomics know-how from the Swedes or Germans - and they will have a very good car!
Our 2017 Subaru Outback limited 2.5 has been a very practical and reliable vehicle for us. Extremely safe with eyesight safety suite. However, the interior needs to be a bit more luxurious. The engine, road and wind noise were basically unacceptable. I remedied that by extensive soundproofing on teh doors, floor and cargo area.

Traded in my 2014 F150 for a 2014 Explorer. AJ was my sales rep; he did a wonderful job. AJ remained in constant contact with me throughout the process and was accessible when I had questions. It met all my expectations! I absolutely love it! The ride is so comfortable for the driver and riders. The heated seats are perfect for this weather. I have nothing negative to say. I just wish I could have purchased a new one!
Upgraded my Mustang from V-6 to GT and one year newer. AJ was a personable and helpful sales person and the sales team combined to make this a good experience.
Avoid the 2013 Outback.

Prepare to replace random bulbs monthly due to undiagnosable electrical issue.
Prepare to have CVT transmission warranty work if under 100K miles OR tough luck after extended warranty expires.
Prepare to have oil usage warranty work up to 100k miles or tough luck after extended warranty expires.
Customer service through Subaru is hit and miss.
Don’t buy the ’Love’ hype.
When it comes to reliability and customer service, it’s closer to Chevy than Honda.
The handling in poor road conditions is superior, but this generation Outback lacks dependability.
Very informative group of sales people.....friendly and "laid back", alot of nice cars on their lot with low MILES as well... You can always tell alot about a dealership not just from inside but from the OUTSIDE(CAR LOT) ALSO!!HAPPY CAR SHOPPING Y'ALL

The "new to us" Outback is a 2010. It has very low miles and is immaculate. We drove it off the lot feeling like it is was brand new.
I usually dread buying a new car but I found Mark Layne to be a knowledgeable and entertaining salesman. He answered all of my questions and found me the perfect car. His demonstration of the Subaru Eye Sight package was so convincing that I decided that I totally needed to have it. I love my new Subaru.

While it's not the most eye-catching or fun car on the road, it certainly is very practical and a great bang for the buck. Great in the snow, good on gas and very roomy inside.
Andrew Hopkins went above and beyond when discussing the features and finalizing the purchase on our new Escape. In addition, he delivered the vehicle to our establishment the same day we agreed to a deal. I could not ask for a better experience!

Just purchased my first Outback and love it so far! It's a 2013 3.6R Limited. So spacious and comfy ride. The miles are a bit higher, 66K miles, but I believe Subaru's can last a long time if maintained properly. I look forward to driving this vehicle for a long time!
