Brought my 2015 Sonata in for the 15000 miles service. Customer service from the time we entered the facility was excellent. I requested they look at the driver side seat where some of the color had come off. They agreed it should be replaced and ordered a new seat cover under the warranty.

This car just keeps getting better. Eyesight, Appleplay, auto door locks, improved display......I thought I loved my 2017 Outback!! Subaru continuously strives to improve upon what they have instead of trying to razzle dazzle you. I will never own anything but a Subaru.

Subaru Who Knew?

Recently, my beloved VW TDI was recalled due to dieselgate. Four months ago I reluctantly began to consider replacements. A lover of German automobiles, I narrowed the search to an Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC 300, and threw in the Subaru because consumer reports haunted me. My husband and I were in Montgomery from Charlotte for Thanksgiving and capitalized on the free time to look at the vehicles. After test driving both the Mercedes and the Audi the decision was made to go with the GLC. However, I had already spoken to Kyle from Montgomery Subaru so as a courtesy, decided test drive the 2.5 and 3.6 Outback. When we arrived both Kyle and John greeted us at the door and offered water to the weary travelers. (It doesn't sound like much but after an 8 hour car drive, 2 hours in a Mercedes dealership with not even a water fountain offered, it was a huge deal). The car I asked Kyle to test drive was waiting for me at the front without having to look on the lot. (Another huge win over the Mercedes dealer) Now on to the car. The Outback drove well, had all the extras I would have had to pay extra for on the GLC, and was $15k less than the GLC. However, I am still not convinced and I have a few months to look. Kyle sat my husband and I down with John and there was no looking back. Zero haggling, a price that was 6k less than anywhere else I looked, and most importantly respect. I have been in sales a very long time. I will always do business with someone who treats me the way I treat people. Kyle, John, and Tim in financing convinced me I was not a Mercedes driver. I drove home in my new Outback elated I made my first impulsive buy!

The only concern that I had was the fact my leg room may have been less then I had hoped for. Other then that it was an outstanding auto.

We bought our 2014 Subaru Outback from them in 2014. The car has 61K+ miles on it now with absolutely zero mechanical problems. We have not had one warranty repair or non-warranty repair made to it, only scheduled service. The service department is as good as the BMW dealership we used for 10 years in Tampa. The are fast and professional, and, unlike BMW, pricing is very reasonable. If your car doesn't need it, they don't do it! We had the 60K mile service done and it only took a few hours. The car actually ran more smoothly after the service! They know my name when I call and getting an appointment is super easy. I guess because Subarus don't break. I recommended this dealership to a relative and they ended up buying a car there too. I wouldn't hesitate doing it again.

I was passing through Montgomery on a family vacation. I realized too late (to get it done at my home dealership) that I needed a regular maintenance check-up (with oil change and tire rotation) done on my Subaru. I decided to just drop in and get it done in Montgomery (after locating them online). They could not have been more accommodating, or speedy! They were also very concerned with my satisfaction. I was amazed by their friendliness, efficiency, and speed...especially considering they must have known that I would not likely be a returning customer (due to proximity to home). Kudos Montgomery Subaru!

If it weren't for this one thing, I'd love the car

The rear automatic braking system kills my love for this car. If the eyesight thinks you're going to hit something (a wall, another car, etc), it sounds a brief warning, then slams on the brakes. You might just be backing into or out of a steep driveway though. It scares the daylights out of you if you're not expecting it. Literally, the brakes will lock up. There is no instant kill switch for it, and it takes a while to turn it off while holding your finger on the button. I can't back into my own driveway without this thing slamming on the brakes unless I hold up traffic while pushing and holding a button to clear. It resets every time you put the car into reverse. I hate this "feature" so badly. I wish I could permanently disable it.
