Pat provided excellent service and helped me find exactly what I needed. I’d definitely buy here again.

Owned 3 outbacks. ‘99 was terrible with many problems. ‘05 XT was great for 10 years then many problems started that normally doesn’t occur.
‘12 runs well so far. Ride comfort worse of three. Good city car but rides stiffly & noisy on highway. Good family car for snowbelt. Great fuel economy. Extended warranty issues on transmission ☹️. Given past history will get rid of by year 10. No more Subaru in the future for me as there are better AWD options now for same price range .
I want to thank Ron for all his help. He answered my questions before I asked them. Closing paperwork went quickly and smoothly. I have Zoroastrian complaints. He's now my go to guy whenever I'll need another car. Well done Ron. Thanks much.
Most Reliable Car I Have Owned

I used to own a jeep but needed something that would not require constant maintenance. The Subaru Forester was perfect in everyway: reliable, handles well, plenty of passenger leg room, lots of trunk space. Overall great SUV
Brenegan refused to find us the vehicle we wanted. Tom Kadlec did. Quick, easy negotiating. Have 4 kids.. dont have all day to sign papers.
Superior for low back & mobility issues.

This car met our family needs. Gas mileage is very good for commuting and very supportive for passenger comfort. Wide doors for easy entry for physically impaired passengers, and loads of leg room. Although better than most, the thickness of the descending support for the right arm rest puts uncomfortable pressure on lateral knee bone. Must adjust seat to partially avoid.
Great and friendly place to purchase a vehicle from. I worked with Cory on my new Highlander purchase and he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Cory followed up on all my emails quickly even when I knew he wasn't in the office. Very easy place to do business. I have purchased three new vehicles from them and will continue to use them in the future.
Most fuel effecient SUV I've ever owned.

This SUV is a great vehicle for the money, and is extremely comfortable on long road trips. It has a smooth ride with ample power for around town use. I would have preferred an analog fuel gauge instead of the digital one.
Very happy with the overall experience at Toyota of Rochester! Everyone that I dealt with from sales, to financing to picking up my new car were great to work with!
Still getting to know the new vehicle, but happy!

This car is meeting all of my needs, with only a few minor tweaks needed from initial purchase - and the seller (a dealer) has been fair, friendly, and open to offering good service packages to accompany sale. Glad I found them through Cars.com filtering options.
Billy Durdahl was awesome! He gave us a couple options. Prius and Camry. He let us borrow the Camry overnight. We went with a 2012 Camry Hybrid. We love it! Thanks Bill! God bless all of you at Rochester Toyota!

This car is just a load packaged car. Better then my 2013 limited. Feels faster for a 4 cylinder. Feels so luxurious like a Acura. So big and spacy. It just a good car.
Met my expectation in all aspects. Friendly, courteous, and well versed concerning the Subaru product.
Bearing design problems.

We’ve own a 2003 and 2013 Foresters and both of them had extensive wheel bearing problems at around 40-60,000 miles, costing $1500 ea. Came to learn from a Subaru auto mechanic that Subarus have a design problem with bearing seals. We will not ownanother one in the future.
Everything was great. Questions were answered and we were out in an hour

Imprecise steering, especially bad at highway speeds, needs constant correction. Stiff, at times jarring ride around town. Awful entertainment system, radio and navigation cannot be turned off only turned down until car is restarted. Ready to cancel lease and walk away from $3000 down payment less than 2 months into lease.
I have not yet taken the car into the shop for maintenance, for is very new yet. Drove it to Dodgeville, WI this weekend and learned a lot more about the car. A couple questions are how do you find how many miles per gallon of gas is used? Also, is there a glove compartment key? We don't have one. In shopping for a car, we compared several models finding the Outback the best car for the money and exactly what we were looking for.
13th "Subby" we have owned

Power is not that high, but comfort ease of driving, leg room heated seats, 6 speed, gas mileage 37.8 mpg, great little car but not for 10,000 ft in elevation
2019 Ascent was a early release with both the consumer and dealership personal playing some catch up on info. We've had our Limited for about a month and have 2100 miles on it. We are still trying to figure out some of the unique operations and functions. My wife and I are truly blessed! THANKS, Julio, Jesse, Todd, Tim

My Outback is very comfortable and convenient, and has all the bells and whistles I need. It is very reliable and goes through all kinds of weather. The drive is quiet and smooth, and my 2 golden retrievers fit in the back.
The sound had completely stopped in my Outback. I was on my way to Minnesota, so took it back to the dealership where I had bought it. All the people there were personable and professional. They were able to fix it in a short time. I would recommend them to anyone.
Only seats two adults
by ergotic from Chicago IL

I would give this car a much higher rating but for one FATAL flaw--adults cannot fit in the back seat. the sides slope so far in where they meet the roof that no adult of any significant height can sit back there. my daughter is only 5'10" but her head hits the roof in back unless she tilts her head toward the middle. such a STUPID mistake. i wish i had test driven it with someone in the back seat. i would NOT have bought it. now it's only good for two adults in front and children in back.
Wonderful buying experience this is by far the most incredible car I have ever driven.

6 months after purchasing my Outback, I was involved in a serious accident. It did it’s job protecting me and my 4 legged passenger. It is my tank, and I love the AWD. I work in rural Home Health care and I have yet to get stuck or stranded where others have been. I love the space of the hatchback as I travel for a living.
This car is more than I expected. It has a fun, smooth ride.has plenty of ports for my electronics, bluetooth, sirius accessibility. Gas mileage much better than my previous vehicle. I usually have buyers remorse, but not with this car. LOVE IT.
The 2018 Outback 4-cyl. Limited has been excellent so far. Power is adequate, the safety features work well, handling is good, and the ride is comfortable and quiet. The motor growls, unlike the smooth-humming Honda 4-cylinder motors I'm used to, but it's ok. It does take about six times as long as the Hondas to reach normal operating temperature, however.
Interior is pleasant. There are distracting reflections in the outside mirrors (especially on the driver's side) of silver trim around dashboard air vents, and the inside rear-view mirror is too low because of the "Eyesight" equipment, obstructing the driver's view to the right. Both of these problems appear to be easily remedied in future redesigns.
