2024 Nissan Rogue review
I've owed the rogue SV for some 9 months and I'm very pleased with the ride, performance and reliability . Prior to me purchased this car I rented a bunch of competitors to narrow down my choice. The Rogue has alot of features that really come in handy. It's a very thought out vehicle. On long highway trips it holds the road very steadily at 90 MPH and my gas consumption was in the low 40's. For the money to me it's the best value out there

I've had my fwd lt for a few months now. Great car. At first I thought it was a bit underpowered, but it more than makes up for it in fuel economy. 2025 Mazda CX-5 review
We were loyal Subaru owners previously but were forced to look at other car makers when the 2025 forester had problems and recalls. The 2025 Mazda cx-5 was the most similar car, with no recalls or issues. We were pleased with the price and ready availability, made the jump from Subaru and haven't looked back. We owned several Subaru's previously and never had any issues with them - our most recent was fifteen years old. As retirees, the new safety features like the backup screen and warnings for blind spots are terrific. I just hope the Mazda proves to be as problem-free. Also, the Mazda CX-5 was highly rated by our insurance co. and lowered the cost of our insuring our new car.

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. I am a first time Mazda owner and having commited to older (proven) technology in a changing turbulant world ( ICE engine not Hybrid or EV) I can only hope that this purchase plays out well.........Fingers crossed and happy motoring Zoom Zoom!

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2024 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

2021 Subaru Forester review
Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought myself a Christmas gift, a new CX5 SignatureTurbo the day after Christmas and I absolutely love it! I don't' know why I didn't get one sooner. I have always been a Toyota, Lexus guy, but I must say this classy vehicle beats the others. Why, let's start with the interior. Mazda makes some of the most beautiful interiors! Exteriors too!! The fit and finish are superb! The CX 5 is extremely quiet and smooth riding, and I can honestly say it is quieter than any Lexus I have had in the past. There is also the fun factor! If you haven't tried a Mazda, you need to. They are a driver's car and fun to drive. The trim level I have has the Bose system and has a beautiful surround sound. Crank up the volume and it's awesome! The safety features are excellent, and everything is conveniently located. There is no need in paying for other Luxury cars when you can get a Mazda and save thousands, and they are the best keep secret out there. Luxury, fun, good looks for much less. I am definitely staying in the Mazda family.

Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
Well I am really not sure this is legal but Mazda and many other manufacturers charge you monthly for an app that controls the vehicle. Remote start etc. I purchased this vehicle and I'm sure they already charged me in the purchase price for all the options it has. How can they charge me $10 a month for the rest of the years I own this vehicle just so I can remote start and see other information about the vehicle? It is like I sell you a kitchen and after a year if you want to open the doors you have to pay monthly for an app to do it. This is totally ridiculous and a scam. Say Mazda or any other car manufacturers sell 20,000,00 cars and all the people that bought them pay $10 a month to use the app they make an additional $200,000,000 for just use of the app. Well this is in my mind an absolute tragedy and should be illegal. Shame on them and all car manufacturers. I found an option to fix this. It still should not be this bad but anything to not pay these corrupt people any money. I found an aftermarket kit to fix this permanently for just over two years of monthly payments. It is called Startz, you can purchase on Amazon and install yourself. Good Luck

2015 Honda CR-V review
One year and 37,000 miles later, my 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L, purchased from Bill Kay Honda, has exceeded all expectations! I bought this gem with 50,000 miles on the clock, and it's been nothing short of a dream. Dependability is the name of the game here – this car hasn't skipped a beat. Gas mileage has been consistently impressive, making both city commutes and long road trips a breeze. As expected with any vehicle of this mileage, routine repairs have been standard, but nothing out of the ordinary. The EX-L trim package adds a touch of luxury with its leather interior and upgraded features, making every drive comfortable. The spacious interior and ample cargo space have been perfect for everything from grocery runs to weekend getaways. Having finally taken the plunge into the Honda world, I now understand the rave reviews from my mechanics. This CR-V has proven its worth, and I'm a loyal Honda convert for life! Tip: If you're looking for a reliable, fuel-efficient, and comfortable SUV, the 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L is a fantastic choice. Regular maintenance will keep it running smoothly for years to come. 2025 Mazda CX-5 review
Perfect car! Traded in my CX-30, which was a wonderful car, but I wanted better visibility and more backseat space. The CX-5 ticks all the boxes: reasonable price, driving comfort, beautiful interior, smart dial system to use with the screen (which makes driving much safer than a touchscreen), plenty of cargo space without feeling too large, All Wheel Drive, and fun to drive. And some luxury options even on the lower trims.

Don’t be nervous , just don’t, because you’re about to buy the best SUV on the market for that years and read: Here is how to buy it and not regret about purchasing it: Mainly because of ZERO GRAVITY SEATS. ITS PURE MAGIC!!! Short story first: We bought it used with around 60.000 miles back in 2019. At that time I was a mechanic but not yet ASE certified lol. So I was very nervous about our purchase - all my bank money was about to be gone for the car - didn’t use bank credit. AND I STARTED SEARCHING, SEARCHING AND SEARCHING AGAIN. Let me share my experience: I knew that the main problem was CVT. How to verify that it’s good before purchasing the car? BYU an OBD dongle VEEPEAK as example (not a Bluedriver!) Aquire an Android phone or tablet. Download CVT50 and pay the Full version $4.99 as of 2026 (later in your mind will sound like “FREE 99” lol) YouTube how to use it. Install dongle to desired car, connect to your android (no iOS arrrrr), start the car. Find deterioration counter in app by clicking “read CVT” IFyou see something above 1500 - JUST RUN. It’s that easy. Actually app shows red flag and sign “Transmission failure” if it’s above 3000. Once you acquire the car - do whole transmission fluid change with filters replacement and wiping bottom pan inside (flush if you want, but better not to… Actually you can do it by yourself within 2-3 hours at your driveway. Make sure: USE ONLY AND ONLY OEM NS-3 FLUID AND OEM FILTERS there is 2 of them in the transmission. When you will install the transmission oil pan back - DO NOT OVERTORQUE THOSE BOLTS!!! We got lucky and it was only around 90 on ours. So technically in supreme condition. So far after 6 years being lucky 3rd owner: 1. AC fan replaced by myself with used. 2. Major leak inside the driver side from rain - known recall was honored by Nissan thanks to JAMES PUGH - GOD BLESS HIM!!! at Nissan global HQ and fixed at/by local Nisan dealership. 3. Tailgate bulbs replaced. This is it. Oh forgot OEM oil filters and Royal Purple only 0w-20 every 5k miles. I knew the guy who drove all possible cars from one auto auction to another around 100k ride on daily basis, and he said, that most comfortable seats only Nissan have among all cars even M, AMG, GTI, R, RS and many other combinations of fancy letters top tier cars. 2021 Tesla Model Y review
