2023 Buick Envision review
Purchased pre owned with 56k miles. Everything seems to be great thus far. The only thing is I’m not sure the AC actually works as I normally keep it set to the “Auto” function. And when the temperature got up a little warmer than normal it didn’t seem to make the adjustment.

2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Have the 2025 CX-50 in white premium addition. Often think whether I should have bought the turbo as I wish I had some more power, but I didn’t want to give our insurance a reason to hike rates. It gets the job done and in style. Interior is nicely finished but I’ve experienced many little rattles from instrument cluster, A pillar, mounted Bose speakers, etc. lots of felt tape was needed to mitigate. Technology is the major con here. Constantly have to reconnect Bluetooth so I just plug it in now all the time. Wireless phone charger never works - it overheats seemingly after two minutes and stops working. At times the tailgate buttons seem to get confused and don’t know what you’re asking it to do. And the way the doors all lock / unlock together can be frustrating and I’ve learned that it depends on how many times you hit the disarm / unlock button on the key fob. Finally, memory seats never worked since buying it new, and I’m too lazy to bring it in all day for that. I like the car but I’m not sure I’ll get into another one after my time is up with it.

2023 Mazda CX-5 review
I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

2019 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander review
Driving over a year now, comfortable ride. Many features on the Black Edition. Automatic headlights, wipers, panoramic roof, heated seats, wiper defroster, heat/ AC works very well. Car has standard headlight washer...long hold or after so many windshield washings... just a few. Only drawback! The integrated navigation..used TOMTOM that is very poor feature. Unable to have an update. Map has trouble accurately find places...if local destination..gives location sometimes in other places or even states.

2016 Ford Escape review
Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

2022 Ford Escape review
I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

2023 Ford Escape review
In December 2023 I bought a new-used 2023 Ford escape with only 1100 miles on it. So it was basically a brand new car, and I got it at a discount because it was used so it was very well worth the money. It’s been an awesome car but I have one complaint: there is way too much reliability on the electronic display. All of the cars systems run through that including the air conditioner!! The problem is, like any computer, it doesn’t always immediately boot up upon starting the car, sometimes it takes a few minutes to get going, and in the meantime you are absolutely burning up! There is no way to turn the air conditioner on via the dashboard!! I simply do not understand why they couldn’t just put simple dials on the dashboard to turn the air conditioner on, As cars have had for many many decades now. It’s really ridiculous. I live in Georgia and it’s 98° and 80% humidity, I need the air conditioner to start blasting as soon as I get in the car! But that’s really my only complaint , it is an awesome car otherwise.

2016 Mazda CX-5 review
Whether you’re an enthusiast or not, you will enjoy this thing until the wheels fall off. Now, if you’re an enthusiast, or just someone who loves the feel of the road underneath you but needs something fairly practical? This is the car for you. With ample power, and steering feel that would put some sports cars to shame, you will feel confident, and often joyous when behind the wheel of the CX-5, especially with the Manual version that came in the “Sport” trim! Although that engine is suggested to be fairly gutless. However, if you prefer the automatic versions with the larger engine, like in my Grand Touring trim, you will absolutely be able to enjoy the road, regardless of the local speed limit. The CX-5 may not be the fastest car in its class, but it surely is the most fun, and the best value among its competitors.. but it’s mainly just fun. I recently got my CX-5 at my local dealer, and it has done nothing but get me to work when I want it to, taken me on small trips to wherever I want, and without any real complaints. Only times it gets annoyed with me is if I need to pass anybody at highway, but that’s what makes it so much fun to live with in my opinion, especially with the little rev-happy 4-pot motors that it can come with. 2023 Ford Escape review
For those of you that don't like the over reliance on the computer dash for things like the AC.. Ford did not start doing that till mid 2023.. when looking at 2023 models, look carefully at the dashboard. some have a smaller computer screen and the 2 knobs and buttons that regulate the AC. those are the ones you want.. they also are $4-5K cheaper than the models that have the larger screens and no physical AC buttons so win-win.

Showed me some used cars, but made a better deal for a brand new Elantra Sport trim for about the same monthly cost as a used car. Again, fought to give us every deal and break they could to make the numbers work for our life. I was there today because, as it turns out, the service team damaged a tire pressure sensor a few weeks ago when replacing one of my tires. So the fact that I was there at all was very annoying. But I was treated courteously, given a reasonable expectation of how long it would take, (that time estimate was accurate) and a clear statement that the problem was due to an error by the service department. I appreciate that acceptance of accountability. The oil change and car wash was nice, too.
2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
The Hyundai Tucson Limited is far beyond other vehicles in the same class. This car has features of luxury cars in an affordable vehicle, and it looks sharp too. If it had a turbo charged engine it would e out of this world. As it is, the car does lack power, but unless you drive it like a sports car this isn’t a problem. Front heated and ventilated seats, Rear heated seats, park assist, blind spot cameras. If you need it this car has it.

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

I traded in a Corolla hatchback for this RAV4. I love the size inside. I love the screen and it’s pretty comfortable though. I haven’t taken it on a very long trip. My gas mileage has decline since winter has come, but so far the all-wheel-drive is handling the snow
