2020 Honda Pilot review
Waited to give an honest review. 4 years later, I know have 109,000 miles on my 2020 Pilot Tour. The bad: It developed the known crackle sound coming from the speakers. This was fixed under warranty twice. The second time not coming back and has been fine. The looks are "meh". My wife's Nissan of similar trim level has a far nicer interior and much fancier seats. On curves the "warning" light flashes on my dash and the steering wheel shakes sometimes if a car is coming from the other direction. It's annoying, but I hear a problem for many manufacturers with these safety features, not just Honda. The Good: I consider my Pilot practical. It does everything well, just not flashy. My previous car was a 2012 Honda Pilot that I put 190,000 trouble free miles on. This Pilot with an updated transmission feels MUCH quicker. It is much easier to drive. It handles well, averages around 24 mpg on my commute (non expressway), and has been trouble free outside of the speaker issue. It hauls the family well, with lots of room, especially if the 3rd row is not used. I put on the dealer installed trans cooler and trailer hitch to tow a couple of waverunners, which it hauls easily. If you can get past the "ok" styling, it is a car that does everything well and my reliability has been very, very good so far.

2022 Hyundai PALISADE review
Just be aware that if you buy a white one that Hyundai had a problem with the paint just flaking off. On the roof of my car which is white, I have big strands and strips of paint coming off and the car only has 20,000 miles. They covered it under warranty for 10 years but it's just a hassle.

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. Very happy with this 2024

2023 Chevrolet Tahoe review
I have a 2023 Tahoe after driving a Mercedes ML350. Husband wanted something bigger. While I really like my Tahoe, I do have a few complaints. The side mirror moves to a weird position inside the case every time I start the car and the preset button does not move it back, I have to reset it manually. I have had this "fixed" once only for it to start doing it again. I hate the auto stop option and am trying to train myself to push the button to turn it off whenever I get in it. The breaks squeal when stopping, I absolutely hate it! Was told since break pads used to be asbestos so they do not use them anymore and now it is metal on metal and living in a humid area makes them rust and that's what make them squeal. Was told to hard stop every so often to knock of the rust. What??? And my biggest complaint, it will not read my text messages to me without and internet plan. Why will it connect to my phone for calls, maps and music but won't read messages?? One of the biggest causes of wrecks, people trying to text while driving. 2024 GMC Yukon XL review

When I expressed interest online, Tara Platt reached out to me within minutes. We bought it sight unseen, in person. She assured me it was perfect and it was. From arranging the shipment, to finalizing the paperwork, sending it through Fed Ex back and forth, everything went flawless. My only regret is we didn't get to meet Tara and the other staff in person. If you have never bought on-line, don't worry one bit dealing with Tara and the dealership. 2023 Chevrolet Suburban review
Have owned other big vehicles like 3/4 ton 2500 Dodge Ram Hemi. I got a Duramax diesel engine in this Suburban. Saves on gas, believe it or not. Very comfortable, very smooth ride, and very quiet even after installing 2” lift and bigger tires. Have the Premier package. Definitely worth every bit of my money. Very heavy duty compared to the new 2024 Ford Expedition Max that I drove for quite some time. Has been very reliable. GM has been quick to fix any recalls. Have only had one recall. Compared to my Ram, it can keep up with all the towing and hauling just as much as my Hemi did. Turn radius is amazing. No problems! The 3.5 average rating on here is not accurate. Go test drive one for yourself.

Impex Auto Sales review
Good cars, excellent variety, friendly staff. Pricing is "transparent and competitive", but allows little in negotiating. Overall, a good experience. Warranty covers 5 days and 300 miles. Based on that, I did not do a PPI other than my own walk around. Clutch slave gave out at 170 miles and 3 days. I had it towed at my expense ($258). The Sales team has worked to resolve this and I appreciate it (although not offering to pay for the tow). The Service team tried to blame me as being rough on the car. . .really? Right out of the gate you want to blame the customer. How about replacing the clutch fluid since there was no indication it has ever been done? Water and corrosion were likely. Then the service rep tried to tell me it worked fine when they (service) did the pre-sale inspection. Also told me clutches and associated components were't covered. Appears service and sales are separate entities that may not work well together? Can't say, but that's what I was told and there seems to be a disconnect. Either way, I expect to have the car back soon. I will update this response as needed. As of today, Sales is driving the solution and has done the right thing. Pending the resolution, I would buy here again.
2023 Lexus LX 600 review
The V6 is more powerful vs the V8 in the LX 570, the apple car play eliminates the pour controls for stereo, and the new interior is excellent. Overall very happy with the new model, and love the appearance package, with black wheels. Combined with Lexus dealer service great product and service!

2013 Lexus LX 570 review
Timeless reliability and power when you need it as these trucks get older, you realize how well they are made. They only really need basic maintenance and every hundred thousand miles replace the plugs, the belts and all the juices and it will keep going as smooth as butter the only thing you wanna keep an eye on is the suspension however it is not a dealbreaker it can be dealt with with a proper technician. They will be going for another 50 years for sure.
