Grand Blanc NissanReviews
Grand Blanc Nissan review
My husband and I had an excellent experience at Grand Blanc Nissan. We had been looking at a variety of cars at various dealerships, but all other dealerships paled in comparison to GB Nissan. Immediately welcomed by friendly faces, ready and willing to hear any and all requests. The entire team was willing to do whatever it took to hit our vehicle goals and price points. We worked directly with Arturo and Don, who were incredibly accommodating and honest, answering all questions and concerns, going above and beyond to help guide us to make the best and most informed decision. GB Nissan genuinely cares about their people and puts their customers above the sale. We were greeted like old friends by Harold and felt very comfortable and confident with the process as explained by Cal. We walked away with a 2019 SV all wheel drive black Nissan Rogue, perfect for our growing family. Thank you, GB Nissan!!
2010 Chevrolet HHR review
In 2012 bought our USED 2010 HHR Chevrolet (an American Greetings' fleet car) from local N. Olmsted, OH. dealer. Perfect for DELIVERING our Bakery's very large wedding cakes, etc., & everyday family errands, & great for camping (its' cargo roof is a bonus too). Looked EVERYWHERE trying to find a ROOMY & FLAT cargo floor w/back seats easily lowered for our cake business! Had to be a "multi-useable" business & family one car! FINALLY found this beautiful HHR! A real workhorse. Feels like a Cadillac! Good low mpg gas cost. Maintenance is minimal. Best all around car we've ever had. It's still our 100% reliable transportation 24x7. Highly recommended.

Great service. Helpful and convenient. What was super professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Great used vehicle selection.
2009 Chevrolet HHR review
My wife and I both have 2009 HHR’s. Hers is black with only 85,000 km on the clock she got hers used 7 years ago with only 65,000 km. Only repairs (other than oil changes and routine maintenance as per owners manual) have been front rotors which I upgraded to drilled and slotted rotors and just replaced the rear shocks. We tow hers behind our motorhome. She just loves her HHR. My HHR is a cool little Panel in metallic grey. I have had mine for 5 years with mileage at 145,000 km and it now has 255,000 Km. Just upgraded my front brakes to the drilled/slotted rotors and new rear shocks. Other than regular oil changes and routine maintenance I have had no issues with this little beast. Both cars are garage kept and never driven in the snow (have an old school Jeep for winter (1989 Jeep Cherokee we have owned for 26 years). I would recommend the HHR to any one looking for a nice little vehicle - both of have the automatic transmission and without a word of a lie we are getting between 29 and 31 mpg which is great 👍

One of the best cars I have owned. I have the 2014 Edge Sport model. I still have it. Traded in a Mercedes for it! It handles like a sports car with the 22 inch rims, is has great pickup and all the amenities I could want like the Mercedes. Also, no mechanical problems to date 2022! Highly recommend.

2002 Subaru Forester review
This is the car I drive the most often. I have driven this car in all kinds of environments, including in someone else's yard when I made the mistake of taking a turn too fast. My family bought this car for under 2000 used, and it's been worth every penny. Ours doesn't have AC anymore, nor does it have any of the bells and whistles. This car has never let me down, and I doubt that it will. This is the perfect car.

2009 Subaru Forester review
I bought my 2009 forester with 200k on the click. She was well locked after but has a few scratches here and there but paint work is still beautiful. Performance is great but she is heavy on fuel. This is expected from an AWD as the engine is pulling all 4 wheels continuously at the same time. No oil leaks, aircon works well. The only major issue I have had was the thermostat falling. I caused my radiator to crack due to pressure building up. I removed it and she is running perfectly. I live at the coast in South africa so our winter temp never drop below 10° and our summer average at 30°. Overall, I'll will be buying another forester with it's great space and power....love it

2014 Subaru Forester review
I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

2013 Chevrolet Traverse review
I bought an LT model new in 2013 and have driven it daily ever since. I have not had a single problem of any sort.....no repairs, service, etc. other than oil changes at the proper intervals. The interior has held up beautifully, and the exterior paint has coped quite well with being parked outside in the hot desert sun. The gas mileage is around 16 to 17 MPG, which is rather low, but it is a large vehicle. Acceleration is excellent, but there is a lag before the transmission downshifts for passing. Overall, it is one of the nicest, quietest vehicles I have ever owned.

I drive a lot my car is a 2014 and it has currently 277,400 miles and still ticking. I’ve had very few maintenance issues overall the basic wear and tear as expected! I didn’t expect it would last as long as it has but I am being pleasantly surprised. It is great on gas compared to most SUVs and overall a comfortable car !

2009 Ford Escape review
Bought a 2009 6 cylinder Ford Escape LTD. Bought it used with about 68,000 miles in 2013. Loved the look and handling. Extremely reliable vehicle. Did regular maintenance, oil changes, tuneups, tire rotations, replaced tires twice, high speed wheel balances done with alignment, etc. Recently had an oil pan gasket replaced. Never any major repairs, except replaced the water pump x2. Once in 2018 at 150,000 miles again in 2024 at 208,348 miles. It always ran great. It was a southern car until 4 years ago. So, did not have a rust issue. Unfortunately, a Buck came out of nowhere last week after dark and totalled my beautiful Escape. I wasn't hurt. But, the frame was damaged and it was not worth repairing with 213,000 miles on it. I am sure it would have made it to 300,000. Trying to find another. But, live in the North now and rust is a major issue. Heartbroken! I wish Ford would go back to making this style of Escape and with the 2009 reliability. I am hoping to find a 2008 thru 2012. But, need the AWD version. The FWD wasn't great traction in the rare snow we had down South. But, still managed to get me home when a freak snowstorm hit...and everyone was following my car, lol.

2011 Chevrolet Equinox review
I bought a 2011 Equinox w/2Lt, with the 3.0L VVT. 264 HP engine and 18" wheels. This vehicle was T-boned on the passenger side door with air bag deployed and thus declared totalled by an insurance company from a previous owner. This vehicle was rebuilt and salvage title issued with approximately 38,000 miles on the odometer. This vehicle turned out to be a very good experience so far as I have had some repaint done and I replaced my wheel hubs, brake rotors, calipers and brake pads with high performance parts. With this power plant configuration, I can pull my droptail trailer loaded with 2 cruiser motorcycles to Sturgis with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I change oil every 6 months with under 3,000 miles on the oil. The engine does not use oil. I am a conservative driver and use extra caution while trailering. I added a Curt class IV hitch with no trailer brakes. Trailer payload on the scale is 1900-2200lbs depending on what bikes I decide to take. However, I would not have considered ANY Equinox with the xxx I4 Ecotec Engine. Those engines were built with a batch of bad timing chains from Mexico and GM ended up replacing a boat load of those engine. I am a mechanical engineer.

2008 Chevrolet HHR review
Power steering recall warranty life. But tge dealer will fine something else wrong with it. To make you pay $$ instead of using the warranty free. Transaction module faulty. So you have to fix that so the power steering won't work. That should of been on recall too. I have an 2008 hhr chevy.

I love it! It's comfortable and big for my family. It rides smoothly and I love the heated seats. It will be nice in our cold winters. I feel safer for the winter months worth the AWD.

1999 Jeep Cherokee review
I bought mine in 08 91000 miles for 3,000. One of best cars I've ever had, bulletproof so good in the snow. I think the only way you could kill it is running it with no oil. I stupidly sold it to my brother with 112,000 on it. He drove it till it had 192,000 then sold it to his friend. Im sure its still going somewhere.

2008 Saturn Vue review
I have owned two 2008 Saturn Vue. First one had a accident where was hit by a pickup truck doing roughly 45 mph, in the rear. The deck behind rear seats and chasis observed the impact. No one in car was hurt. Second Vue now has 213,000 miles on it. Just replaced replaced radiator. Replaced wheel bearing, caliper, rotors and tires all way around car. Good inexpensive transportation. Engine could use more guts. But it gets you down the road.
