2016 Lexus RX 350 review
This is my 3rd Lexus, and second RX. Most reliable was my GX470. My RX350, 2016, F Sport is a very nice vehicle. I am disappointed in several common issues: Door lock fail (replaced twice on driver door), water pump fails (common problem), my panoramic sun roof black cover has also failed. I see other owners with the same issues. What is happening to Lexus quality? Maybe still better than most, but I assumed a car manufacturer would improve with time in quality? The issues noted above are common if you search.

2025 Hyundai SANTA FE review
I bought this car because of the deal that Hyundai provided. I didn't test drive the car till after I purchased it. It is a very pleasant surprise, as it is better than I expected. 2023 Buick Envision review
Just had my first major car repair at 44k miles. Some steering sensor that could cause me to lose power steering. Had I not had the extended warranty I would be responsible for the $5k repair bill. We are barely out of the manufacturers warranty! Other than that, I love this car but already expecting to get rid of in the next year due to the unknown.

2020 Cadillac Escalade review
So far a really nice SUV. I just feel like with the price on Escalades, they missed on the interior design. You can really get on the gas when driving but the takeoff is really heavy. It almost feels really slow. Not sure on the idle but not as smooth as I would like. But it looks great! This SUV is a head turner and will standout. Just don't be afraid to spend money if you need to. Luxury SUVs are like women. They need money and love. Give them that and they will be around for a while.

2023 Tesla Model Y review
Amazing car. Was able to easily fit 300 square foot of laminate wood flooring inside with the seats folded flat. I'm going to glamp in this thing. I'm going to commute in Los Angeles, take my sister's dogs around - you name it. This thing is going to get a little dirty, hah. I'm happy it has a tow hitch as an option and roof rails available. The frunk and back trunk having storage (under the flat lift boot cover in the back) are just great for shopping and carrying around smaller items. I like that the 2023s still have the stalks because my wife and I tried the 24' Model 3 without, and we don't prefer that experience just yet. This is the best, most efficient, utilitarian, and sharp looking vehicle on the market. My only feedback is the paint could be better. I think they have the fit issues with the body panels down, and the sound dampening is a ton better in the 23's with the extra carpet that they add in the back and on the sides of the vehicle. I think to address the management of the company, Tesla is a big company. The recent Supercharger team layoffs were disappointing to hear in terms of how it was handled. However, I am excited by the prospect that the U.S.A. will have the North American Charging Standard, (NACS), as the single charging standard for Electric Vehicles going forward. NACS is much more elegant than J1772 and DCFC handles, as is the typical Supercharger location and experience. Do yourself a favor and buy into the vertically integrated EV experience with Tesla and don't worry about the public charging infrastructure that others have to deal with. That'll just be your backup option if the lines are too long at the Superchargers, or if you want a better charging rate in some rare contexts. What do I think about the CEO? I don't think about him really too much... the car speaks for itself.

2024 Volkswagen Atlas review
Traded my 23 Atlas SE Technology V6 for the 24 SEL R-Line premium. This SUV is fantastic, a great value, reliable and the performance of the turbo 4 engine is excellent and most impressive. I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2023 Jaguar F-Pace SVR with 11,000 miles just over six months ago, and it has completely transformed how much I drive. I used to average 12,000 miles a year in my non-performance vehicles, but with this Jaguar, I’m now clocking nearly 20,000 miles a year simply because I enjoy driving it so much. Whenever I have a tough day, stepping into my F-Pace SVR and starting the engine instantly lifts my spirits. Everything about this SUV is remarkable—the exhaust note, the drive modes, the interior features—it’s all a joy to experience. I’ve never been a fan of using paddle shifters, but this vehicle changed that for me. Merging onto the highway in Sport mode, paddle-shifting through the gears, and hearing the exhilarating chainsaw-like upshifts from the ZF8 transmission is pure adrenaline—it takes me back to feeling like a kid discovering speed for the first time. Though Jaguar is discontinuing its current lineup, I highly recommend grabbing an F-Pace SVR while you still can. A couple of personal tips: I opted for leather performance seats over Alcantara, and I’m so glad I did. They look fantastic, are easy to clean, and have the bonus of seat cooling—perfect for summer. If I had to nitpick a downside, I’d echo what others have mentioned about the hood shaking slightly at higher speeds. While it’s noticeable, it doesn’t bother me, and I’ve come to think of it as a design choice to enhance airflow during high-performance driving. If you’re on the fence about this SUV, don’t hesitate—it’s an incredible vehicle, and I promise you won’t be disappointed
