2021 Ford EcoSport review
My favourite car ever. Great inside and out. The rear wiper is perfect as are the front wipers, although it's easy to accidentally activate them. You'll need to adjust your seat for a perfect fit, bit once you find it, it's great. The bank seat could use more legroom, but otherwise it's great.

This is a great place. I personally recommend working with Kelly in sales and Malcolm in finance. Blake in finance is also good but new to the finance department so Malcolm would be your best option. I left a very negative review after I felt like I had been completely taken advantage of by them on Saturday and was on the hook for a loan worth twice what the car was worth brand new. They completely took care of me and I got into a different car that was the same make and model but cheaper. My deal went from 34,000 total to 20,000 total after reworking it. I will say they want to add lots of stuff into the deal. It isn't necessarily bad but it adds up and I was unwilling to accept that. They will try to keep all or some of it on and if you don't want it then fight for the price you want and read the website to know their policies and guarantees. I will also leave this as a disclaimer, I would be selective about what salesperson you work with. My Mom overheard one of the guys complaining about how he was one sale away from a bonus and some lady wasted two hours of his time and backed it because she was incompetent. I saw the lady he was talking about and she was older and said very clearly she had someone waiting on her for some time now and could not stay longer. I also briefly worked with some other guy in the finance department who was pretty rude and I didn't enjoy that. I don't remember his name though. Kelly is a genuine person and a great saleswoman. You can trust her. It seems like some of the staff are a little more money focused and trying to help themselves more than the customer so beware. I also want to point out one of the managers introduced himself to me and was very kind. Also very apologetic over how things went the first day and I really appreciated it. Good place and some really good people. I had some mixed feelings with this experience but the likes of Malcolm, Kelly, and Blake and how they handled making things right with me overwhelmingly changed my overall experience to a positive--hence the 5 star review. 2025 BMW X1 review
Car delivers more than I expected. Two must have options are Technology Package and Driver Assistance Plus - that combination is hard to find. Sport seats are very comfortable. Lack of knobs and buttons is an issue - miss them. There is a huge learning curve transitioning to a touch screen. You must absolutely make use of the BMW "Genius" service. Highway MPG exceeds advertised value.

2023 Kia Niro EV review
I own a 2023 Niro EV Wave trim in Snow White Pearl with a Grey aeroblade and light grey interior. The first thing to comment is that this car is beautiful. It is sleek, aerodynamic, with exciting touches. But it is also a bit unassuming. This is not a car that will blow away people on the street. But it is still an undoubtedly striking vehicle, with just enough personality to stand out, and just enough sensibility to blend in. The interior is strikingly simple but loaded with features. The screens seamlessly integrate into the dash, instead of protruding out as if they were just glued in place. The buttons stay flush with the panels, and the center console area is spacious, with cupholders that can easily be closed or opened, which makes fitting a 32oz bottle in this area simple. This is a minor detail, but in most cars, my water bottle will sit awkwardly on top of the cupholders, or find itself laying on the floor of the passenger seat. Having it safely stowed beside me is a nice touch. Interior features are loaded. The heated/ventilated seats are very quick to provide the comfort you need, as is the heated steering wheel. The buttons on the steering wheel allow for all the controls you need while driving at your fingertips, such as calling up voice assistants, answering calls, adjusting volume, skipping songs, and controlling the driver assistance features. The controls for climate and stereo on the dash rely on the same screen, using a simple button to swap between them. This may be confusing at first, but it is an elegant way to simplify the design of the dashboard, minimizing the total amount of knobs and buttons. The wireless charge point works great, and I love the warnings that a device is on the charger when the vehicle is switched off. Same with the warning to check for items in the back seat. When you put this car in drive, you will not be pinned to your seat, especially in Eco mode. But you will feel like you are controlling a vehicle that is stable and sure footed, with excellent traction, and plenty of acceleration to reach highway speeds long before the end of the on ramp. If you do need a bit more pep, altering the drive mode to Normal or Sport created an immediately noticeable difference in power output, but in most day-to-day driving, Eco will be sufficient. Once you get up to speed on the highway, the adaptive cruise control system will pretty much do everything for you. Set your speed, and set your preferred following distance, and the Niro will maintain your speed with ease, and even slow the vehicle all the way to a stop without ever needing to put your foot on the brake. Press the steering wheel icon, and you will engage lane centering, which will help keep the Niro centered in your lane. Just keep your hand on the wheel, but Niro will handle the driving. THIS IS NOT SELF-DRIVING. I must make that clear, because when there is a crack in the road that has been sealed and is cutting diagonally across your lane, the vehicle can mistake this as the lane line and will steer the vehicle along this diagonal. By holding the steering wheel firm, this is easily overridden, but it is critical that the driver recognize that this system is not perfect. It is, however, very useful for long drives, such as my typical 30-min highway commute. Another wonderful feature is the Heads-Up Display, which shows your speed, and critical information about your drive, including which systems are active and during cruise control, the HUD will go beyond showing blind spot indicators, showing white boxes that represent the vehicles around you as they pass by, so you can see exactly where the nearby vehicle is. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking into an EV that doesn't want something too bold and expensive. This is the EV for people that just want something solid, reliable and exciting, while being practical and unassuming.

2022 Nissan Rogue Sport review
I have only owned the car about a month. I purchased pre-owned. The car does not have good acceleration. Slow in fact. That's my one complaint. A big complaint really. The car is fully loaded with all the bells and whistles a car can have. Once you plug your Android or iPhone into the outlet it will connect automatically to the car. One of my favorite features is the reading my text messages to me feature! NICE feature to have. I didn't want a big SUV, this size works perfect for me.

2023 Buick Encore GX review
I know that here in Northern California, Buick isn't a very popular brand, but that means I was able to get a stunningly good deal on my new '23. I traded up from a low mileage '18 Buick Encore (not GX), and at the time of the transaction, it had a remarkable trade value. My dealer did a outstanding job on pre-sale prep and delivery. My sales rep answered my every question. I enjoyed the prior vehicle, and feel this new one will give me the same kind of driving experience. My added safety feature is the front accident/pedestrian avoidance and lane keep assist. I haven't had to use either yet, but feel good about having them aboard. This Buick strikes me as a hidden gem, full featured but still available at a price point that blows the other comparable Asian built imports out of the water.

2025 Volkswagen Taos review
I like the white and black combo. I like that it's not too big and is AWD. Still getting use to the technology. I can start and lock the doors from my phone. It notifies me if I left a window or the sunroof open. Will not go far if the trunk door is not completely shut. This is my 1st suv, I like sitting up higher than in a sedan.

2022 Jeep Compass review
Bought this 2022 Compass Trail Hawk new for my wife. Earlier this year (2025) we landed a sweetheart deal on a new 2024 Wrangler Sport S. Guess who inherited the Compass ? I stepped down from a Grand Cherokee but I have no regrets. It has had a few electrical teething issues but all have been resolved and have not come back. The handling and fuel economy are much better than the Grand Cherokee. There are only 2 downsides..........the size of the gas tank (13.5 gal vs 24.5) and the cargo space behind the 2nd row seats. I have easily adapted to both ! I want to give a shout-out to our local dealership, Tri-City CDJR. Start to finish, an excellent place to purchase and maintain our Jeeps. BRAVO ZULU !

2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer review
This vehicle has one drawback that I am aware of. The back up camera is very poor. The images are not crystal clear. It is like looking at a television screen from the 50s. I had a Blazer 2019 and my screen was great. I cannot understand why my 2023 vehicle has a poor screen. I have contacted General Motors and have gotten nowhere with them. I find this poor visual screen to be a safety issue. Had I known the back up camera and screen were so poor, I would’ve never bought the car as much as I like everything else about it. The visual on the screen is even worse at night.

2023 Kia Niro EV review
We had a 2020 Niro EV. So we have had experience with Kia's product. Very nice job on all points for this next generation EV. As it's use is for commuting, we are more than satisfied with the style, controls and comfort for what we use it for. The interior is quite amazing in size compared to its overall dimensions. Our town has its own electric division so the rates are fairly low. Our commute is about 8 miles a day, and I usually charge it when it gets to 50 or so miles left in range. So we use about 200 miles of range, in a months time, and recharge is roughly 7 hours, overnight. The electrician that installed the level 2 charger, figured that at max draw on the charger the cost is $.70 per hour. So for 200 miles about $5. cost. Yes this as the last Niro, hardly puts a bump in the electric bill. So for this usage, it works very well for us. And again this 2nd generation Niro is very nice.

I just bought a 2026 Envista Preferred on May 22, 2026 and it is the dream car that I always wanted. It's elegant, good on gas, nice and comfortable interiors and trunk and small enough to park. Went to this Carmax off of an advertised vehicle. Vehcile was as advertised with no hidden charges or add-ons. We wanted to look at others and the salesperson walked us through all available vehicles. We ended up wanting to see one at another Carmax They set up arrangeents and we went to the other Carmax and purchased that vehicle. Both dealerships were very helpful and courteous. Price was better than other dealerships and there was no haggling. Actually a very easy buying process. I have not found a better price at ay other dealership in the area.

2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

2018 Toyota C-HR review
I drove a 2018 RAV 4 for one year before trading it in for the CHR. I really liked the RAV4, but it always felt just a little too big for me. I like smaller cars even though I am almost 6 foot tall! I should have driven the CHR before purchasing the RAV4 - I looked at it initially and thought it would not be roomy enough for me, boy was I wrong :) I am so in love with my CHR and plan on keeping it until I have to drive it like Fred Flintstone with my feet !!!LOL Thanks Toyota for making such a fun car to drive. - Can't say enough good things about it.
