Awesome Car Buying Experience

First off, I was not going to the dealership looking for a car for myself. My husband and I were checking out a car for my sister in law who was not having luck finding a car or a dealer in the metro Kansas City area. We had talked about the possibility of buying a new to us car, but our finances are not in the best of shape due to a previous job loss. We were looking over the Nissan Murano when Anthony Pierce came out to greet us. I told him what we were doing for my sister in law and that there was no way we could get a car for us, in fact, I was waiting to be laughed off the lot! He explained to us about the dealership (we are fairly new to the area) and being family owned and told us about the process of how they do things (their financial people have enough experience to know what they can and can't do with different lenders, prequalifying, etc.). We took it for a test drive and fell in love with the car. After getting back to the dealership, Anthony took us over to his desk, and I figured, "Ok, here comes the pressure". That totally didn't happen. He really took the time to listen to us, asked us what we wanted to do and were comfortable with as far as payments, talked to the financial girl, Gemma McKenna, and came back with what they thought they could do for us. Gemma was great also. They gave us a range of about $50, a little over what we had said we wanted to pay. My husband and I wanted to take a little bit of time to talk it over, since we didn't go in with the intention of buying a car. Anthony offered to let us take the car with us to lunch even. While we were gone, he and Gemma continued working on the deal for us and when we came back, Anthony greeted us with "Well, we got you an even better deal than we thought!" After it was all said and done, we got the car, a good warranty, and extra protection on both the exterior and interior of the car for $2 more than what we said we wanted to pay. I couldn't believe it. Here we were, with an awesome SUV that had a lot more options than what we ever thought we could actually get, a VERY pleasant experience, and payments that we are comfortable with. He was even going to still help us find a car for my sister in law. He took the time to find out what was important to her and contacted her over in KS to see what he could do. In the interim, she ended up finding something else up in KC, but she was very impressed with Anthony as well. I would definitely recommend both Anthony Pierce and Riley Toyota Scion. When we are in the market for something else, I am definitely coming back. Everyone has been extremely helpful and no pressure. This has been by far, the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Especially since I wasn't planning on buying a car.
