2005 Toyota RAV4 Base review
Reliable, economical, Toyota.
I bought a high mileage (290,000km) 2005 Rav 4. Ive owned it 4-5 years (so far) and put over 60,000km on. It's been so reliable and comfortable. In 5 years all I've had to do was replace battery, regular oil change, and spark plugs. The suspension is starting to give in some parts now but all these years I've had no issues. AC is still ice cold. I've gone a few road trips. I'm so grateful for Toyota and their reliability.

Nearly the perfect SUV for it's era!!!
I've owned dozens and dozens of car and this one has impressed me the most. Tons of power from the V6, typical Toyota reliability, very ergonomic, and very capable. I've hauled weight in this thing that would rival any truck and pulled a trailer that was double it's load rating. This is been the most reliable car that I have ever own. It's been given a lot of TLC with regular oil changes, scheduled oil changes and waxed twice a year since I've own it. It's been a great car !
