AutoNation Chevrolet South Corpus Christi review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Outstanding Service! We had such a wonderful experience at Autonation Chevrolet Cadillac South Corpus Christi to! From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated with kindness, respect, and exceptional customer service. Jorge Cantu went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of throughout the entire car-buying process. One thing that really stood out to us was how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was. While we were taking care of everything and getting our new vehicle, our children were even fed and taken care of, which meant so much to us as parents. It made what could have been a stressful process feel comfortable and enjoyable for our whole family. Jorge provided great service, answered all of our questions, and genuinely made us feel valued as customers. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Jorge Cantu at Autonation Chevrolet Cadillac South Corpus Christi to anyone looking for a vehicle and a team that truly cares about their customers. 5/5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you, Jorge, for making our car-buying experience such a great one!
2013 Toyota Tacoma review
Overall the Tacoma is built like a TANK! I chose the 4 cyl 2.7L and it does perform amazingly well for such a large truck, I think the ride is good but of course it's a truck so it is a bit bumpy, expected because it is made to go off road when necessary. The only thing I would change on this truck is to have 4 wheel disk brakes it would change the trucks handling and feel enormously, with the disk front - drum rear in stock form the pedal feel is annoying and spongy, which makes the front end dive if you really have to haul your speed down quickly and that effects the overall handling a lot! The resale value is insane!

AutoNation Toyota Corpus Christi review
Ramiro was our salesman. He showed us several trucks and then we talked about what the trucks offered. At the end I bought a new 2026 Tundra and my husband bought a used 2025 Tundra. I am very happy with my Tundra. All the employees there were polite and willing to help you. I recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a vehicle. Ramiro was the best working with us and answering all our questions and looking for what my husband wanted. He did not stop until he found something. Thank you Ramiro for all your help.
2023 Toyota Tacoma review
A great factory set up to start modifications. Upgrade OTT tune to rid gear hunting, seat jackers for better ride comfort. Add a leaf or suspension helper in rear to plant rear tires, upgrade front and rear shocks. Front factory springs pair perfectly with bilstein 5100s for better offroad handling.

AutoNation Toyota Corpus ChristiReviews
2024 Toyota Tacoma review
For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

2026 Toyota Tacoma review
I always wanted a midsize pickup truck and I always wanted one of the Toyota Tacoma. I driven one used which was bought by my brother in law in the 80 with no power option just old school pickup. Now turning the clock forward to 2026 my first midsize pickup truck Toyota Tacoma. I truly believe people at Toyota have gotten everything right the ride is smooth with SR5 model and the price is right for all levels of pickup who don’t need additional options which I love. So far with 5’ of bed it should work out for me and family using it. It is comfortable drive that completed my everyday commute and things around the house and other projects that needed to be done. Having 2 children it is a plus with 4 doors on the SR5 model. It is like everything we wanted in a midsize pickup truck. For me and my family use for everyday life. I highly recommend Toyota Tacoma it is very expensive but in the long run it is worth every penny….

2026 Toyota Tacoma review
My family and I really had a great Tacoma car buying experience on October 7th. Our salesman, Cameron was very knowledgeable, courteous & accommodating. He explained the various features of the vehicle during Test Drive which was very helpful. We finished up the day with Dwight in the finance department. He too was great to deal with. Extremely knowledgable and very personable. Overall, Post Oak Toyota is top shelf! They are all very friendly, professional and accommodating!!

2021 Toyota Tacoma review
For the size of motor it's surprisingly powerful. The transmission is smart and performs when needed, use the manual shift when needed. The ride is smooth, the suspension superior on the freeway handling anything I ask of it nicely. Off road it has traction features galore, nothing left for complaints. Best truck I ever owned.

Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful, especially our sellsman. They made us feel comfortable throughout the entire time we were there. Other sellsmen came over and conversed with us like we were family. The financial manager was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and didn't pressure us on making our decisions. The entire dealership was a comfortable place to be away from home. We need more places like that.

2023 Nissan Frontier review
I have a 2023 Nissan Frontier SV 4X4 crew cab. I test drove the Honda Ridgeline before buying the Nissan. Honda is a car not a truck. Nissan has a steel boxed frame, Honda is a uniframe tack welded. Both vehicles have the Mercedes transmission. My Nissan Frontier is a great driver. It feels like a truck and is a comfortable ride. My Frontier can tow 6700 lbs not that I would max tow with it. All other small trucks are turbo charged nightmares. Very satisfied with my purchase and I’m a picky person.

2025 Toyota Tacoma review
Just got a new 2025 Tacoma SR5 in the blue slush color. I love my new Taco and Temecula Toyota gave me a smoking deal on lt. I looked around at some other trucks. The Jeep Gladiator was kind of nice but they are having major problems with them. The Nissan frontier is a nice looking truck, but you don’t see many on the road. There must be a reason for that. lol. Ford was not willing to deal on the F150 price. I’ve had a few Toyotas and Lexus and they run for ever with no problems.

AutoNation Chevrolet South Corpus Christi review
We had an amazing experience while searching for our vehicle. Jacob Sanchez went above and beyond to help us locate and he even brought the vehicle to Corpus Christi for us and it had everything we wanted in it. Without the help of this super talented salesman, I believe we may have not found our Tahoe and would be continuing our search. Both Pre and Post experiences with Jacob were exemplary. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

AutoNation Toyota Corpus Christi review
I worked with Oscar and Luis on the purchase of my GV 80 Genesis. It was the easiest car purchase I’ve ever experienced. Auto Nation Toyota is a fair and reasonable dealership!
2016 Toyota Tacoma review
This vehicle seems to be an outstanding vehicle for its class. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars for comfort is that it rides like a truck -- which is what its supposed to be, but quite comfortable for a truck. The other four star rating I gave it was because it was not available with a manual transmission. Again, it's a truck, not a car and trucks, as working vehicles should be available with a manual transmission -- but people today don't want to actually have to DRIVE a vehicl.

2023 Toyota Tacoma review
I’ve owned Toyota’s for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. My 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 keeps that tradition. I bought the 23 model year for the naturally aspirated V6 engine given that in 24 the model went to a 4 cylinder turbo. I’ve only had it for a month but love everything about it. The build quality is true to Toyota and the ride is comfortable. I’m very happy with my purchase.

2025 Toyota Tacoma review
Toyota is just a great brand… My new Tacoma eats a little more gas than my previous one, probably because of the turbo. The performance, however, is great! It’s very comfortable, I notice it the most on long drives. I find the nighttime visibility really good compared to any other car that I’ve ever owned: The tech is okay but I want a lot more.

2024 Nissan Frontier review
I bought my 2024 Nissan Frontier SV 4X4 in March of 2025. It had 63 miles on it, was sold as a used pickup, but basically brand new, and I got a VERY GOOD deal on the purchase from my local Nissan dealer. Back in the day, I bought a new Frontier in 2007 and it was an exceptional pickup but the 2024 is even better! The styling and the fit and finish is excellent, inside and out. Love the V6 and the 9-speed automatic, very smooth and quiet. The mileage is 2-3 mpg better than the 2007, 18 around town and 23 on the highway. Very comfortable on a long trip. I am very pleased that this pickup has a greatly improved the turning radius over the '07 - good for you, Nissan. It handles great off-road. I have nothing negative to say about my Frontier!! Love it!!!

Aransas Autoplex has great service, personnel are very friendly and informative and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We have bought 4 cars from them (in the past 30) years) and it’s because Jesse Green is the nicest, caring and the most hard working Salesman ever! If you’re looking for a certain make/model he will work tirelessly in helping you find the perfect car like he did for me!
2026 Nissan Frontier review
We are very happy with the Nissan Frontier PRO 4X. The simple and clean design of the exterior and interior was appealing. The reliability of the tried and true powertrain provides confidence for long term ownership. While there may be a few technology options lacking compared to it’s competitors, the lower out the door cost is a huge bonus.

Aransas Autoplex Superstore review
I recently purchased a new 2026 GMC Canyon Elevation from Aransas Autoplex, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. The team made buying a vehicle feel easy and enjoyable — exactly what you hope for but don’t always get. A special thank you to my sales representative, Stanley Thornton. Stanley was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. He answered every question, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. Thanks to him, I drove off the lot in the exact truck I wanted with total confidence.I highly recommend Aransas Autoplex to anyone looking for a great vehicle and an excellent buying experience. I’ll definitely be back for my next purchase!

Was in the market for good used HD Denali (2022-24) Aransas Autoplex just received on the day I called. Was able to get a deal done, max value for my trade in and when AC check showed less than optimum performance, they replaced compressor and solved the problem. Stanley Thornton stayed on it till I was satisfied

2026 Nissan Frontier review
Following several months of research and comparisons, I bought a 2026 Frontier Pro-4x long bed. Absolutely love it. The truck is very comfortable and very well built, solid 6cyl engine and smooth as butter 9 speed transmission. I got both the convenience pkg and the premium pkg and glad I did. The premium pkg includes the TailorFit(™) synthetic leather seats that are much more supportive than the cloth seats, softer than Napa leather but much more durable. I do not find the hydraulic steering “heavy” at all, I find it to be very smooth and responsive. There are lots of very good aftermarket accessories available for the frontier. Overall, I believe this is the best value in a midsize pickup, perhaps tops in dependability as well (maybe ties with 2026 Toyota, but their new 4cyl turbo’s dependability is unknown). Consider the long-bed, it is the ultimate combo of midsize truck with super-size functionality. The LB seems to drive smoother on the highway and the extra length in the bed can fit things that many full size pickups cannot. It is terrific!

2013 Toyota Tacoma review
Truck was a champ. Mileage slightly less than advertised but still decent. Felt like sitting in a lifted car but was smooth on oilfield goat trails and held up real well saving gas compared to other full-size trucks. I think the fake hood scoop was xxxxxxxx but otherwise a great truck. 4x4 in mud snow and icy roads was excellent. Real reliable truck.

2021 Jeep Gladiator review
Having been a Wrangler operator for quite a while, I traded a 2018 Rubicon Recon JK. The Gladiator Sport S is more comfortable on the highway. The suspension is much softer than any of my Wrangler Rubicons have been. It's not a major deal since Florida doesn't have much in the way of rocks to crawl over. On the other hand, it has a lot more storage.
