2024 Nissan Frontier review
I bought my 2024 Nissan Frontier SV 4X4 in March of 2025. It had 63 miles on it, was sold as a used pickup, but basically brand new, and I got a VERY GOOD deal on the purchase from my local Nissan dealer. Back in the day, I bought a new Frontier in 2007 and it was an exceptional pickup but the 2024 is even better! The styling and the fit and finish is excellent, inside and out. Love the V6 and the 9-speed automatic, very smooth and quiet. The mileage is 2-3 mpg better than the 2007, 18 around town and 23 on the highway. Very comfortable on a long trip. I am very pleased that this pickup has a greatly improved the turning radius over the '07 - good for you, Nissan. It handles great off-road. I have nothing negative to say about my Frontier!! Love it!!!

2026 Nissan Frontier review
Following several months of research and comparisons, I bought a 2026 Frontier Pro-4x long bed. Absolutely love it. The truck is very comfortable and very well built, solid 6cyl engine and smooth as butter 9 speed transmission. I got both the convenience pkg and the premium pkg and glad I did. The premium pkg includes the TailorFit(™) synthetic leather seats that are much more supportive than the cloth seats, softer than Napa leather but much more durable. I do not find the hydraulic steering “heavy” at all, I find it to be very smooth and responsive. There are lots of very good aftermarket accessories available for the frontier. Overall, I believe this is the best value in a midsize pickup, perhaps tops in dependability as well (maybe ties with 2026 Toyota, but their new 4cyl turbo’s dependability is unknown). Consider the long-bed, it is the ultimate combo of midsize truck with super-size functionality. The LB seems to drive smoother on the highway and the extra length in the bed can fit things that many full size pickups cannot. It is terrific!

2021 Jeep Gladiator review
Having been a Wrangler operator for quite a while, I traded a 2018 Rubicon Recon JK. The Gladiator Sport S is more comfortable on the highway. The suspension is much softer than any of my Wrangler Rubicons have been. It's not a major deal since Florida doesn't have much in the way of rocks to crawl over. On the other hand, it has a lot more storage.

2021 Jeep Gladiator review
We special ordered a Jeep Galdiato Rubicon in 2021 and loved it. Our only problem was it didn't leave much space in the garage. We decided to trade it for a special ordered Jeep Wrangle 4dr. RubiconX. This new vehicle left us with 34 more inches of space in our garage. We still have our 2021 Jeep GrandCherokee Trailhawk as our long trip vehicle. 2 never gave any problems accept with the Aux, battery after 3 years of own

Upon entering the building, I was greeted and directed to the vehicles I was interested. I ventured the lot on my own and able to check out the vehicle. All the details were located on the window or they have touch screens with the info of the cars on the lots. Chris C was my sales person, he was very quick to respond to questions I had after I left the lot and also gave me detailed information about the cars I was interested in purchasing without haggling me to buy the more expensive car. When I had a question for him he would always answer it and send the brochure or the car detail info so I had it. The day I made my decision I was driving off the lot in a preowned vehicke within a few hours. I was extremely happy with my experience and would recommend Carmax in Westborough for anyone searching for a preowned vehicle. And i had been to other dealerships for test rides.
2015 Nissan Frontier review
195k miles and my truck still fires up and runs excellently. Everything from the value, the power, the utility, the reliability, and, in my opinion, the looks, are superb. I will say the turning radius is quite awful, but in light of all the positive things I could say about this truck, it's an easy recommendation, and by far the best vehicle I've had the please of owning. It is a barebones truck, but Nissan did an excellent job fine tuning it and making it one of those 10+ year trucks you wish every other truck could be.

2015 Toyota Tacoma review
Bought my 2015 TRD Off Road Tacoma new off the lot and it has been a solid truck. I have only had to do a few things to it here and there, but I pull a trailer with a 1200lb SXS to West Virginia several times per year. In other words, I use my truck! I love it. Like any vehicle it isn't perfect. It has a few squeaks and rattles and there are things that could've been improved, but the engine and tranny are still going strong at 186k miles. I do hate that the headlights are prone to haze over and there is a noticeable whistle when traveling at 70+mph especially during crosswinds. The touchscreen display is impossible to read in bright sunlight because of the angle, and the blower fan could use more adjustment. As it gets older I have noticed there is some leakage of air to the defroster because the airway door isn't closing off completely. I can live with that. I have people ask me all the time if I want to sell it and I'm like NOPE! I'll keep it as long as I can.

Just got a new 2025 Tacoma SR5 in the blue slush color. I love my new Taco and Temecula Toyota gave me a smoking deal on lt. I looked around at some other trucks. The Jeep Gladiator was kind of nice but they are having major problems with them. The Nissan frontier is a nice looking truck, but you don’t see many on the road. There must be a reason for that. lol. Ford was not willing to deal on the F150 price. I’ve had a few Toyotas and Lexus and they run for ever with no problems.

2025 Toyota Tacoma review
Toyota is just a great brand… My new Tacoma eats a little more gas than my previous one, probably because of the turbo. The performance, however, is great! It’s very comfortable, I notice it the most on long drives. I find the nighttime visibility really good compared to any other car that I’ve ever owned: The tech is okay but I want a lot more.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. A great factory set up to start modifications. Upgrade OTT tune to rid gear hunting, seat jackers for better ride comfort. Add a leaf or suspension helper in rear to plant rear tires, upgrade front and rear shocks. Front factory springs pair perfectly with bilstein 5100s for better offroad handling.

2017 Toyota Tacoma review
I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

2024 Toyota Tacoma review
For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

2023 Toyota Tacoma review
I’ve owned Toyota’s for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. My 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 keeps that tradition. I bought the 23 model year for the naturally aspirated V6 engine given that in 24 the model went to a 4 cylinder turbo. I’ve only had it for a month but love everything about it. 2019 Toyota Tacoma review
I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

2020 Toyota Tacoma review
I have driven Toyota’s most of my adult life. I cannot say anything bad about them. They are wonderful cars, and that has been my experience. I know a reputable owner of a used car dealership and he said that at my age (68), if I buy a Toyota pickup they will drive my family to my funeral in it. He said that it will outlast me, and I believe him! I just bought the Tacoma, and it runs great, but it only had 13,000 miles on it! They all run good when they’re new, but judging from past experience, it will be great also.

2018 Nissan Frontier review
After my f150 was totaled last winter, I was looking for another F150 with eco boost engine. Being mid winter there were not any used trucks with decent mileage available. I found a 2018 pro x with 70k. It wasn’t as luxurious as my ford but it was loaded with navigation. I purchased it. What a good decision. Besides a battery replacement and fluid changes I haven’t had one issue. It’s a strong truck with great acceleration And torque. I’m 6-1 and fit comfortably in the cab. Yeah it is a midsize, so I sacrificed size but I adapt. The only negative is poorer gas mileage. My ford eco boost averaged 16+ whereas my Nissan gets12 mpg on a good day.

2018 Toyota Tacoma review
So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van.
