We love the features in this Prius and love 52 mpg driving back home. We would recommend this dealership wholeheartedly.
2024 Volvo S60 review
After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

I purchased a new 2022 Polestar EV from the Volvo/Polestar store in December 2021. I am very happy with the purchase and the performance of the vehicle over the 31 months of ownership. I'm writing today because of the exemplary service department at the store. Several weeks ago I had an issue with the 220V charging cable for the EV. Since I'm a customer located in Sarasota, I sent a photo of the cable issue to my service advisor and was contacted recently by him, Ken Salos, and Ken checked for inventory on the item and advised that I could come to the store and swap out the soon to be defective cable. He made the offer so easy to accomplish and I always enjoy a drive to that area because of so many great food offerings. I drove there yesterday, arrived and Ken came walking out from the Service office to meet me even before I exited the car. In less than 30 minutes he had placed the new cable in my car and I was on my way to St. Petersburg for a great lunch. Thank you Ken for your friendly manner of conducting business. Volvo Melbourne is easily the best dealership in south central Florida. The car we purchased exceeded our expectations as did every person we came in contact with at the dealership. Polite, attentive and very knowledgeable staff. Cory's product knowledge of not only Volvo but cars in general blew away by ten fold any other salesperson at the 7 other dealers I visited. And Mark (sales manager) was as fair and honest as anyone I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. No pressure, no vultures in the parking lot. This dealership will be around a long time and I will be back again to buy my next car.
