I love this car in all possible ways. Great performance and sophisticated style without being tacky and boisterous. This car makes commuting fun without sacrificing comfort.

CarMax Capitol Expressway review
This place is amazing! They have so many cars to choose from. Plus they have an exotics lane which is really cool, they have everything from a Benz to a Porsche! The whole buying process is very quick, I bought my car in two hours and drove home. In comparison to the Mercedes of Stevens Creek, which literally took me 8 hours to buy after I picked out my car. The only knock is the service department, which doesn’t do paint repair for scratches, even though they told me that the scratches on my car would be fixed, they only used touch up paint, which looks like I did it myself and not professionally done like I wanted. But it was a used car, so no big deal. Overall I highly recommend!
2023 Volvo S60 review
Had a 2014 Honda Sport and decided I to try a luxury car that wouldn't break the budget, so bought the cheapest used Volvo S60. It's great. It's extremely comfortable (with very adjustable seats), the sound system is outstanding, it handles turns really well, is nice and quiet, is really nice looking without being flashy, and it's touchscreen features are very easy to use especially with voice control. I live in a city, so one reason I chose it is because I read that Volvo's are not popular among thieves. Another reason I chose it is that my two friends who have Volvo's (XC models) swear by them, and one is 6'4" with a bad back.

Recently I had to get a newer car and believe me I was stressed because of the situation but when I went to CarMax which this is my second car from them it was once again amazing to work with them! I had the pleasure of working with 2 amazing sales associates. Helen Mayo who was my main sales associate and Cheyeene Toliver who helped out my wife and myself when Helen was off! They both were very kind and helpful and made the process an ease! I was thinking of other options but since they were amazing I went with them instead if your looking for a car I highly recommend you ask for either of these two women they are a great help!
2024 Volvo S60 review
After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

Volvo Cars of Santa Monica review
Exceptional Leasing Experience at Volvo of Santa Monica I just leased a Volvo XC90 Plus, T8 Plug-in Hybrid from Volvo of Santa Monica, and as someone with over 40 years of experience leasing and buying, I am thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service I received. From the moment I inquired about the vehicle, Mr. David Afshar, the sales associate, promptly reached out with all the details about the car I was interested in. His professionalism and responsiveness made the initial steps of the process seamless and efficient. However, it was Mr. Armin Buholzer, the dealership manager, who truly elevated the experience. Armin went above and beyond to ensure I was matched with the perfect vehicle, providing expert guidance and a clear, transparent overview of my options. Not only was the car selection impeccable, but Armin also offered very aggressive pricing that was far below what I had been quoted by other dealerships, ensuring I received incredible value. Both Armin and David and the entire sales team were attentive, courteous, and focused on making the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident at every step. I walked away with a fantastic deal on a beautiful car, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for exceptional service and VERY competitive pricing, I highly recommend Volvo of Santa Monica, and specifically Mr. Armin Buholzer and Mr. David Afshar. They truly make car leasing an enjoyable and professional experience.

CarMax Riverside review
Although the car we wanted didnt work out, the customer service was excellent. MARCUS is a STAR! He should be in management. I have brought many mercedes in the past. Carmax is turning the tide when it comes to purchasing vehicles. The best thing to do when you buy any car is to take it to another mechanic, and then bring it back to the place to be fixed within the warranty period. The Truck I purchased from them a year ago had a few issues but they did take care of it and I've not have any problems since. Carmax has set the bar high for purchasing returning and anything to do with cars. BRAVO!

Volvo Cars Mission Viejo review
Our experience from the very first phone call to the delivery of our vehicle has been nothing short of amazing! We have purchased numerous cars over the years from many dealerships. This is the first time that we've actually been happy with the process. Jesse and the whole team at MV Volvo have definitely earned our future business. I wish other dealerships could be more like them.

Grat car, we have owned a total of 9 Volvos different models, but everyone was completely reliable never letting us down and only needing the required maintenance service which is included in the lease.

I like the minimalist interior inspired by Scandinavian design, along with the easy to use touchscreen display. I have the T6 AWD with 316 HP and love how it drives (in all weather conditions) and how it accelerates and corners. Extremely reliable, everything has worked perfectly.
