AutoNation Toyota South AustinReviews
AutoNation Toyota South Austin review
How often, when buying a car, does everything go smoothly? That was my experience with Austin AutoNation South. Thank you Joshua and Miles. It was a pleasure!
2019 Volvo XC90 review
This is my fifth Volvo. My most important feature in any car is safety, and this car is SAFE. It is super comfortable, reliable, attractive, and an all around great car. I had XC70's until this XC90. It was tough to switch, but I'm so happy. My only disappointment is that I have two big dogs and they can't both fit in the way back comfortably, so I have a crate in the way back and a crate in the middle with two seats folded down (one up for a passenger). Otherwise, it's a "10." No issues at all at 4 years in.

We loved working with Andrew! He got us the exact car we wanted and worked with us on price to meet our needs. I’ve been to tons of Austin dealers for different cars and Volvo is doing it the right way. They also have great APR’s and incentives right now.

Volvo Cars of Austin review
This is the second time I have purchased a car with the help of Michael Frohlich at Volvo Cars, and once again, the experience was fantastic. Michael is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to understand exactly what car and trim level will best fit my needs and lifestyle. What really stood out to me this time was how wonderful he was with my daughter. I brought her along for the process, and Michael was so patient with her, going out of his way to make sure she felt included in the excitement of buying a new car. If you are in the market for a Volvo, I highly recommend asking for Michael. His excellent, customer-first approach makes the car-buying process a breeze. Thank you, Michael!

Volvo Cars of Austin review
I had an incredible experience purchasing a Honda CR-V with Michael's assistance. Even though I was looking at a Honda rather than a Volvo, he treated me like a priority and gave me all the time I needed. He was exceptionally helpful and maintained a relaxed, zero-pressure approach throughout the entire process. What stood out most was his dedication after the sale—he proactively followed up and ensured every minor detail we discussed was perfectly resolved. I highly recommend Michael to anyone seeking a transparent, attentive, and professional car-buying experience.

Hatimi Auto LLCReviews
2016 Volvo XC90 review
Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

R & D Motors review
My wife and I had an amazing experience with R&D Motors! The process was easy, and they worked with our credit. Rosie, Gabby, Celinda, & Pinto helped us get into both our vehicles. Even when we did have our normal maintenance to do they were able to refer us to a shop. This is an amazing dealership with an amazing team. Thank you, R&D!! If you are looking for a vehicle this would be the place to go.

Great car. Comfortable ride. Simple but luxurious design. Passenger comfort is excellent. Sound system is very nice. One small complaint, not enough storage space. No big deal. Definitely the right purchase

Volvo Cars Hill CountryReviews
2009 Volvo XC90 review
I purchased my 2009 Volvo XC90 last year to serve the purpose of a comfortable commuter car, and considering I payed next to nothing for the vehicle itself, my expectations weren't too high. However, after only owning the vehicle for a very short time, I found myself thoroughly impressed with the car. It became apparent to me that Volvo built their cars with a different mindset then their german rivals, as none of the features that my Volvo was equipped with were revolutionary for the time: heated seats, automatic climate, rear seat entertainment, etc. All very nice options to have, but they could be just as easily had on an X5. However, getting behind the driver's seat of the Volvo is completely different from a BMW or Audi, as the car feels just as heavy as it is. Rather than trying to mask the weight of the car, Volvo chose the path of embracing it - and it worked. Driving the XC90 is like driving a comfortable, leather-lined tank: it's confidence inspiring not in terms of speed, but road presence. To sum it up, I would absolutely recommend the XC90 to anyone in the market for a quality used SUV, as Swedish engineering proved itself to be a pleasant surprise to a German-biased individual such as myself.

Lexus of LakewayReviews
Lexus of Lakeway review
Irfan and Melanie were fantastic in helping us with our purchase. They made us feel comfortable and were not pushy at all. They were also very knowledgeable about Lexus's offerings and were able to answer every question we had. I also appreciated the fact that Irfan wasnt just blindly pumping the brand, and acknowledged where some aspects of Lexus were not as currently strong as other brands may be (eg, acceleration). At the end of the day though, we agreed that Lexus was the best choice for us overall. I appreciate that kind of honesty in a salesman. We are very happy with our purchase. Even though Lexus of Austin is much closer to our house, I would prefer to make the trek out to Lakeway to work with Irfan and Melanie again next time we're in the market for another car.
2021 Volvo XC90 review
We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

Tanner was very accommodating throughout the entirety of my purchase. Super friendly people here at Volvo Hill Country, they definitely have the customers best interest in mind!
2024 Volvo XC90 review
On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. Shortly after my arrival at Patrick, I was very lucky that I was courteously approached by Belen Amador, my Client Advisor. Because she was not pushy (I appreciated that very much), I chose to accept Belen’s assistance throughout the buying process. I was pleased that I had a seamless transaction because of Belen Amador’s expertise and exemplary customer service. She was knowledgeable, helpful and thorough before, during and after the sale. Patrick Volvo is fortunate to have Belen on their staff because she is an excellent representative for their dealership. There is no question that when I need another Volvo, I will most definitely contact Belen. It was my pleasure that I had the opportunity to do business with her. In addition, I would not hesitate to highly recommend Belen and Patrick Volvo to anyone else interested in buying a Volvo. I have purchased many cars over the years, and I must say that I do believe this was the best car dealership buying experience I have ever had. Thank you, Belen and Patrick Volvo!

2021 Volvo XC90 review
I’ve always had Volvo sedans as my daily driver. Safe, reliable, and served me well. Two made it to 200,000 miles. We decided to get an SUV for road trips and this is an amazing vehicle. This is the most luxurious and most high tech Volvo I’ve owned. The safety features are amazing. The ride is so comfortable. It has more power as well. Gas mileage could be better - but it is an SUV. Totally satisfied so far. This may be the last car I own now that I’m retired and won’t be driving 20,000 miles a year.

Tanner was my salesman, he was absolutely Fabulous. He took his time & explained everything about the car to me. I will definitely recommend asking for this young man, he is professional and knows how to treat customers!
2019 Volvo XC90 review
So can someone explain to me who designed the cupholders for the car. The cupholders in the second and third row hold nothing other than a small battle water and an energy drink. Who ever looked at the dimensions of these cup holders has never grab fast food for your kids. Car is wonderful outside the cupholders and the different color rear view mirrors. It looks like I got into an accident and had to replace the mirrors and could not afford the paint color.

Volvo Cars Hill CountryReviews
Volvo Cars Hill Country review
I recently bought a car here. It wasn't new, and it wasn't even a Volvo. But they prepared the car for sale, changed the engine oil, and it looked practically like new. They showed me everything I asked, gave me a test drive, and explained everything I didn't understand. Thanks to the entire dealership team. Special thanks to Christian, who made the purchase as smooth as possible. P.S. The car preparation was truly top-notch, so I have something to compare it to. We looked at cars at several dealerships.
2023 Volvo XC90 review
Never had any major problems with the car. Mostly software problems but they were quickly fixed with a restart/reset of the system. The ride is bery comfortable and on long drives a pleasure to sit it. The place this car has is huge and every passenger has largly enough space. The car is slightly underpowered for such a heavy tank (only 235PS) but is still enough to have a comfortable ride (low RPMs) on the highway. I average 37-33mpg which gives me about 700 miles of range and if you’re not in a hurry and drive about 50-60mph you can even go up to 900 miles on the highway (I drive the mild-hybrid). I feel also safe driving it, thanks to all the assistants it has and the safety-history.
