2020 Volvo V60 Cross Country review
I have now driven the Volvo V60 CC for three weeks and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is very comfortable and has a number of safety features. The gas mileage is exactly as advertised, 25 mpg of mixed driving.

2016 Volvo XC70 review
Started with my first XC70 in 1999 and bought 5 more XC70 models (all with the 5cyl engine), ending with the last three being 2016 models. 2016 being the best and the most trouble free model year yet! Love not crawling under the car anymore to do an oil change! Use a suction system used for boat motors and with the oil filter sitting in the engine compartment, it's a snap. 5K for oil changes and 20K for transmission fluid changes and it will last to 300K hopefully

2015 Volvo V60 review
My first Volvo coming from BMW’s. It’s very affordable to fix and initial cost. It’s comfortable and heated front and rear seats and steering wheel was a real selling point. Automatic transmission shifts ok also has sport mode or manual shifting options. Gas mileage is decent. Has start stop option you can turn on or off. Back up cam is great. Visibility all around is great for being a larger vehicle. No blind spots. Love it so far!

Great seats and visibility are important and Volvo gives that in spades and the grandkids love the heated rear seats. Repairs can be pricey though.

2013 Volvo XC70 review
Bought it New in December 2012. We have had very few problems over the 11 years we have owned it. Granted we only have 85,000 miles +/-, but I would love to get an updated 2024 version of this Volvo. If I had it to do again I would definitely buy it.

2008 Volvo XC70 review
My compute was easily 20,000 miles a year. I purchased the car used, it’s a very comfortable vehicle. Great in the rain and snow. Around 150,00 miles the AWD malfunction light appeared on the dash, the car still ran well so at that point it’s a fancy V70. At 160,000 miles the on board computer had to be replaced, that was expensive. At 181,000 miles the check engine light appeared on the dash and that turned out to be a spark plug coil problem. The sunroof drain plugs need to cleaned at least once a year if not garaged. Heading for 200,000 miles, I going to drive it until it drops.

This car meets and exceeds the demands for a pre-owned Volvo through a dealership but was purchased from the original owner. I bought it to replace my 2004 XC70 after it was rear ended by a driver texting and will be used mainly for quick errand trips around town and short weekend trips to the mountains. What I like about this car is it's a compact wagon that has almost as much room as the XC70 and does not sacrifice style, comfort or features for it's size. The V50 gets a little better gas mileage than the XC70 with an average 23 street and 33 highway. A fill up of a little over 15 gallons of gas gives me an expected 400 miles to the tank. I love the floating console with a little cubby behind it that's a great place to store your phone while driving. The interior layout, dash, doors and leather seats are the exact same as my Son's 2006 S40 T5. This model is FWD and handles corners great with a smooth ride over bumps. Just because it's small and compact doesn't mean it lacks in delivery of other areas. The V50 still has all the attention to detail you can expect from Volvo like a working directional compass in the rearview mirror. It's roomy enough for lots of groceries or for a quick weekend getaway for two along with luggage, medium size cooler and the dog in the backseat. I like the cargo area grocery sack holders and pull over tonneau cover that shields and hides my packages from the sun along with the extra room from a fold down backseat. Also, there's a seperate backseat charging port with a mini console that opens from the backside of the seat with cup holders where a car seat could be secured in the middle. I am short at 5'4" and it's easy for me to get in and out of the front after hip surgery last year. This car fits my small statue perfectly and accommodates my Husband's tall 6'4" frame comfortably in the driver's or passenger side as well. The cost for tags taxes and insurance are really affordable on this age Volvo. My car has no prior accidents, was well maintained and came with the original window sticker and Owners Manual. Window sticker cost was $29,993.00. I feel like I stole it for less than one tenth of it's original price with 162k miles on it. The only things I don't like about it is the front seat cup holders are not deep enough to secure a larger sized bottle of water from flipping and there is no Bluetooth.

2016 Volvo XC70 review
Bought our first XC70, a 2006 AWD with 185,000 miles. Now with 265,000, only routine maintenance and rear axle control unit repair. Got our second XC70, a 2016 FWD with with 180,000. Now has 203,000, and we pull a 3300# camping trailer with it. Again only routine maintenance. Neither of these cars burns any synthetic engine oil between 5,000 mile changes. I also drain and refill the transmission sump at the same time. I fully expect these cars to last to 300,000 and beyond. These cars are a perfect combination of safety, comfort, durability, style and power. After going airborne and inverted at 55 in an 82 240 wagon--the victims of an idiot--we were delighted to have survived with only whiplash injuries. The roof stayed right there. Equally delighted and impressed that the president of Volvo called the house thanking me for my letter and photos of the aftermath. He explained why they use the steel they do in roof frames. We've driven only Volvos since 1984, and will never drive anything else. We have five in our family.
