I should have written this review a long time ago; but now I have so many additional reasons to write it. Back in March, my wife and I were looking to buy me a car, and she spent a lot of time looking around and doing her research before deciding to go to Select EuroCars. We had watched the inventory videos on their website, and were impressed by the selection and fair pricing of Joel's stock. His website is truly incredible! So much information on the vehicles, plenty of photographs, detailed walkarounds on video, and so easy to navigate and filter. I've never seen a used car dealer with a website so well put together! Additionally, after reading about Joel's story and technical experience, my wife knew she had found the right place to do business. We drove the hour from our home to Waterloo, just to do business with Mr. Osserman and his team, specifically. We were not at all disappointed! We had called in advance about the VW Tiguan we were interested in test driving; when we arrived, Joel took us out for a spin. When we knew this was the one for us, Joel worked tirelessly with my wife and I to find the right financing fit for us. He went above and beyond to make sure we left satisfied, and never once made us feel anything less than a valued customer. We left that day feeling very good about our purchase, and looking forward to doing business with Select Euro Cars in the future. Fast forward to August: we've been really enjoying our time in our VW! It's been the perfect fit for our lifestyle; but, more importantly, we felt comfortable and safe with our decision. Then, one day, as we were heading into town for lunch, we heard an unusual noise coming from under the hood and panicked! Without thinking clearly, we made a rash decision to take the VW to the nearest open repair shop. What a mistake that was! The shop we took it to (who shall remain nameless -- nationwide chain) had no idea what they were doing with our dear VW. After two weeks of headaches and turmoil, and an expensive diagnostic fee, and a reported thousands of dollars in potentially necessary repairs, we were quite fed up. Then it dawned on us-- JOEL! Why, OH WHY, did we not think of taking it in to Select Euro Cars in the first place?! We had AAA tow our vehicle from the chain repair shop all the way to Waterloo to have the team at Select Euro Cars take a look at it. The very next day, we received a phone call from Dan: "The car is done, ready for you to pick it up." We were in disbelief. Almost too good to be true, we drove down to pick up the car, and were over-the-moon excited to find out that the vehicle had been repaired in less than an hour and for next to nothing! (Very important side note: we had purchased the warranty option when we originally purchased the VW, and it covered the entire cost of the repair for us, including labor, and waived our deductible so we paid absolutely nothing out of pocket-- SO WORTH IT if you buy from these guys.) It turns out, the real problem was completely different from what the first shop said it was; they would have done all of the expensive, unnecessary repairs on our VW, just to find out that the problem was still not fixed. Instead, the guys at Select Euro Cars, who specialize in VWs and Audi, knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it right away. We are beyond impressed by their knowledge and expertise with these cars. The team at Select Euro Cars is FANTASTIC, and I can't thank them enough. I solemnly swear that I will never take my vehicle to anyone else, for as long as I live. We'll be in the market for another vehicle soon, and we can't wait to do business with these wonderful people all over again!

We bought a used 2019 a month ago. I wasn't aware of these. As I researched a replacement for my wife's GMC Terrain, I learned about all of the bad CVT transmissions and oil burning engines in that class. Happened on a used Alltrack for sale at a dealer and as I researched the dsg transmission and looked up reviews - I was pretty excited by what I read. We have taken in on one 6-hour trip through the mountains and several 3-hour family visits. I love driving it. Probably my favorite car I have driven other than my old 2000 Volvo S70. It seems to be very well built. It is insanely quiet on the road and it has great acceleration. We travel with two kids and two dogs and it zips right up mountain passes, rarely cracking 3k rpm. I wish we had about 2 more inches in the trunk for our kennel, but it is a large space. I am anxious to try the AWD in some Montana snow this winter. Sadly its my wife's driver, but I get to drive it on trip!

There are not dealerships like this left anymore. They have the best customer service and Joel and his team are one of a kind. I highly recommend them!

I've owned my 2018 Sportwagen S for two years now. Zero problems of any kind. I get 34 mpg in the city and it has all the room, power, and features I need or want. So far, the best car I've ever owned!

My wife and I bought an Audi Q from Joel. We own a TT Roadster bought elsewhere. Joel is very knowledgeable about what he sells and stands behind his service, which we find second to none. He goes to lengths to be fair! Corey is our service representative with Dan stepping in from time to time. These professionals and a highly qualified team of technicians set this dealership apart. You can buy a car anywhere, but what counts for us is “Can you service it correctly?”

This car is amazing. I bought it at the end of Feb 2021 for $11,000. That was about 4-6 weeks before the price of used cars skyrocketed. The first time i took it to a mechanic for some scheduled maintenance i found out that i have a “Unicorn.” It is quick and handles like a dream. I love that i don’t have to fuel it up as much as the gasoline version. The six speed manual transmission is amazing. A fun fact about this car is that it isn’t actually a Jetta. It’s a Golf. My manual 6 speeed TDI sportwagen is the most fun car i have ever owned.

It was about as easy doing business with select Eurocars as I could. Very helpful with questions and fair price. I would recommend them to others.

I drove a Golf TSI for years and absolutely loved it. Never wanted drive a different car as long as Iived. Then I had a kid(which is is tight with a golf) and someone pulled out in front of me and it got totalled. I took the money and upgraded to the Alltrack because its basically the same car with more room and AWD. Absolutely love it! Gas mileage is significantly lower than my Golf, but it still has some zip. The DSG transmission is like butter. Ill drive this car into the ground.

I'd been eyeing the old version of the Allroad for so many years so when the new version came out, I had to have it! I can go from a business meeting, to dinner, to the mountains and the car fits the bill. The exterior design is eye catching yet not too flashy. It's sophisticated but yet rugged enough so that you don't worry about getting it dirty on dirt roads because once you hose it down, it'll look like a million bucks again. Power and handling are superior to my wife's Subaru Outback. You can drive it like a sports sedan through canyons and power up mountains with ease. I can fit my road bike w/ only 1 seat folded down, leaving plenty of room for a 3rd person and all our gear. Only issue I have (much like the cars.com reviewer) is with the MMI interface. I feel that BMW's interface was much easier and intuitive. Changing radio stations requires you to look at the screen, therefore taking eyes off road. In addition, changing the fan speed on the air conditioning requires 2 different motions instead of a quick turn of the knob like other cars. Other than that, I love this car and would recommend to active people looking for an upscale and fun car at a relatively decent price.

Beyond the sleek styling, the Allroad is amazing in adverse weather. When cars are spinning off the road or hydroplaning, this Audi muscles it’s way through. In addition, with the fold-down seats, it operates like a little truck, holding futons, bicycles, whatever.

My interaction with Dan And Ken has been very very positive - I’m satisfied on their overall service repair and friendly environment ... even on this last repair issues came up but they were their for me to insure things were right - can’t beat that

The XC70 is an great all-around wagon. More versatile than a crossover with much better styling. I have the T6 turbo six-cylinder which is smooth and very torquey, though fuel economy is mediocre. All wheel drive works well and inspires confidence in foul weather. The ride is cushy and soft but handling can feel a bit floaty. Handsome and roomy interior that easily fits two car seats and.a booster, something that many crossovers can’t do. The front seats are the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in. Tech is pretty good— no Apple CarPlay but it’ll do everything else you need it to. Awesome car, I wish Volvo still made them.

Great design with the Cross Country XC70 all wheel drive. We have owned many Volvo wagons for many years. We did compare to the Subaru Outback, which is an excellent all wheel drive wagon, but found the Volvo fit and finish and overall ergonomics to be superior.

Comfortable, smooth riding, great visibility, and roomy for a family of five. HUGE cargo area and flat folding back seats make it great for shopping!

He went above and beyond when we found the car we wanted and took extra time to ensure the car was safe and exactly what we were looking for. Even to the point of telling me that if the car didn’t pass their inspections, we would find another one. When we arrived at the dealership to pick it up, they made my sons day as he had no idea we were getting the car. Everyone working was there to surprise him which was a pretty cool cherry on top of a great car. Definitely happy with the whole process and will absolutely purchase our future vehicles from them!

This vehicle has been so much fun to drive. It's sporty, fast, and fun all while being safe and family-friendly. It has a very sleek look inside and out. No complaints about his vehicle, all great things to say.

Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

I financed the 2012 cts4 luxury pkg in early 2021 with 50k miles on it with one previous owner and have just recently paid it off and now have fully owned this for about 6 months. This is my first vehicle, so while I have nothing to compare it to in terms of previous cars I’ve owned, I still must say this car has been absolutely amazing for me. Compared to other cars I’ve driven, including a few BMWs, Benz, etc. this one has truthfully been my favorite. The very first thing I noticed when test driving it was how insanely smooth this ride was. I was honestly blown away because I have never driven a car with this smooth of a ride. To add to this, I personally love the style. My personal vehicle is the black raven exterior with a beige interior. There is also the polished wood on doors and dash which I love. The only thing I have added to this car was the Apple CarPlay boss radio, which for me is a necessity as I can’t live without my own playlists and easy navigation. I feel like this also helped to modernize the car a bit since I do have am older model (2012). The biggest problem I had with it so far was a fuse under the hood controlling the fan which was literally a 5 min fix and costed me $60. Have not had a single problem since this fix. I have driven it about 20k miles now for about 18 months and am currently around the 70k mile range. Hopefully as there is more wear and tear it can give the same reliability and performance that I have enjoyed up to this point. Other than that, beautiful sunroof, decent amount of space in the cabin, large trunk, good acceleration, nice HP for a vehicle with no after market performance enhancers considering this car is around 300hp stock and a nice V6 engine. As I was rating this car, I was genuinely trying to think of something more constructive criticism towards it, but I truthfully have rated this vehicle to the best of my ability. Keep in mind this is from 50k-70k miles so far and this is the 2012 vehicle being rated in 2022. One last thing I would like to add considering the gas crisis that is going on as of now, this car has good mpg which is around 20 with an 18 gallon tank. Once the low fuel alert comes on, you still have about 50 miles before gas is really in dire need. Overall, really love this vehicle and I hope that this review helps.

As usual, Volvo excels in interior comfort and design. Performance with the E-Drive T5 2.0 liter engine is more than adequate for highway driving and passing. Purchased as a used car, technology is not at 2021 levels, but it all works very well and certainly all we need. Super comfortable and practical for road trips.

I came from 4 hours away to look at a XC70 and Brennin let me take the test drive myself. He was very kind & patient. The car was not exactly what I wanted and Brennin was a perfect gentleman and said if we can help in the future please let him know. I would absolutely recommend the Dealership.

We could not be happier with the recent service we received at Alan Byer! One of our Volvos unexpectedly had an engine issue involving burnt valves and excessive carbon build-up. Love my Alltrack! While snug, it is a compact, its well oriented, and fun to drive. I have the sky roof option, and love it. Typical German engineering, simple on the frills, but great performance. Plenty of room in the trunk area for most anything. Visually a great looking car, inside and out. Outstanding gas mileage, and it'll even teach you to get the most out of it mileage wise.

If you're in the market for a used vehicle, Billy Grasso is the absolute best! From finding the right vehicle to financing, he took amazing care of us! It's fun to drive, versatile with lots of storage space and has reasonably good gas mileage (36 hwy/24 city). It has an amazing turn radius. Somewhat noisy during highway driving and kind of deficient infotainment/safety features. But it's been reliable so far (100k miles). And did I mention fun to drive?

If you want to buy a car, I recommend Best Buy Auto Sales on Church Street in Syracuse. Ask for Kori Palmer; he is the best!! Kori helped me buy my Ford Escape. He is extremely friendly, professional, and, most importantly, honest and sincere. He was incredibly patient, explained everything about the car, and made the process smooth and easy. I never felt pressured to make a decision. He still responds when I have a random question months after I bought my car. Kori goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible.

I own a 2017 Golf Alltrack SE and have maintained in accordance with scheduled maintenance in the manual. I love this car - it has "everything" that I need. Sure I'd love a bump in performance but it handles considerably well. I haven't had any issues with the car and have owned it for ~3 years now. It isn't "exciting" by any means but it is extremely versatile and comfortable to ride/drive. I'm very disappointed that VW has removed the wagon from the North American market - it gets the gas mileage of a sedan with many of the benefits of a small pickup truck. If they released a more powerful version of this car I'd almost be too tempted not to get one.

This is one of the best vehicles I’ve owned. As a big fan of wagons, there are very few options in America, and this is certainly the best value out there. There were only two trim levels available, which means the base S model is really well equipped (heated seats, CarPlay, etc.). It’s a shame VW discontinued this model!
