2017 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV review
Purchased a used 2023 Chevy Bolt EV a couple months ago, and so far have been very happy with it. I will talk about what I think are cons first. Not happy with the lack of safety features that most vehicles have as standard features. No BSM, no yellow warnings of vehicles in blind spots or warning sounds. No back up warnings. Visibility is taking time to get use to. Mirrors are too small. Visors are too small to block sunlight. Interior is cheap, storage spaces a lacking, glove box dumps stuff out when you open it. Pros:. The selling point of the vehicle is the savings in fuel economy. It is a relatively small SUV electric vehicle, with a good battery that will take you 250 miles on a full charge. I have been averaging 4.4 miles/kw. My electric rate is 10.6 cents a kw. It only costs me $6 to drive that 250 miles. That's about the price for a gallon of gasoline in some places around here. Car is fast and can pass another vehicle very quickly. Ride is comfortable and smooth. One peddle works great and I get better numbers around town. I'm estimating this little EV will save me about $2500 a year and fuel costs. I have a charger installed in my garage. The key to taking advantage of the savings of any EV is to charge at home. Charge overnight. Love this little car.

Bought this car in 2016 w/ 22K miles...it now has 240K miles. Other than an alternator at 200K miles and 2 valve seal leaks (1 covered under warranty), nothing major has gone wrong. Would definitely recommend

Monaco Motor Group review
I've been to many car dealerships in my time, but my recent experience at Monaco Motor Group is hands down one of the best! The selection of unique and hard-to-find cars had me amazed. Never seen such variety in one place. But what made this dealership really special for me was Aamir. He’s one of those rare gems in customer service. Personable, genuine and just an all-around great guy to deal with. He answered all my questions and was super easy to reach before making the purchase. His way of communicating made me feel like I'm not just another sale, but someone he genuinely cared about. If your looking for a great car buying experience and some really unique cars, I'd definitely recommend checking out Monaco Motor Group. And if you can, ask for Aamir. You wont regret it.

2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
We purchased a used TDI with 50K miles. now has over 150K and have only done oil changes and fuel filter. Only necessary repair was the HVAC blower motor just recently failed. Incredibly reliable car. Diesel engine paired with the 6 speed automatic trans delivers awesome torque whenever you need it. 50+ mpg on hwy trips and averaging 39 mpg commuting. The interior is obviously not luxurious but comfortable enough to keep you happy. I should mention the Stereo system and bluetooth is unreliable. Powers itself on and off at random and will require repair. The cargo area is surprisingly large when the seats are folded down as well.

2017 Kia Soul review
I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

2009 Scion xB review
I've had this car for 2 years with my dealer and only had one issue replacing the throttle body. Big expense but worth it. Easy to maintain car. Mostly electric is some areas but I love the worker bee approach for the car. Small but roomy. I still prefer the Nissan cube but this one is close. I'm on the plus size side so roominess is important. There just aren't enough cup holders lol.

Sell Your Auto FastReviews
Sell Your Auto Fast review
It’s very rare that a dealership has a Kia Soul in stock with both a manual transmission and a sunroof. Sell Your Auto Fast had a very nice used one. It’s just what I wanted. I bought it from Orlando and it was shipped to South GA. SYAF hired the shipper, which saved me a lot of grief. Despite buying the car sight unseen, Salesperson Yasir assured me of its condition by sending me a video of it. I am extremely pleased with a very nice, clean car; but I must emphasize the patience, kindness and promptness by Yasir. He was quick to respond to my questions via texts and emails. We communicated on a daily basis until the culmination of the transaction. At no time did Yasir pressure me into anything. Between both of us, any minor glitches in the sales transaction were handled quickly and decisively. I highly recommend this dealership, especially if Yasir is the salesperson.
2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

At a time when I was moving around two dogs and a cat, this car was an absolute must. It was a great value to start and even more so now that I use it as a second vehicle. The only maintenance I've done is the routine oil changes, etc. I expect to own it for another 10 years

2010 Scion xB review
My Scion Xb is 12 now and acts like the champ it was in 2011. It was a lease car so I don't know how it was treated day to day. Yes, the milage was a little high. The paint job is something to see also. It's metallic amethyst (purple). I got it for 12k because of it's history. It was also a dealers online bate car. I love it all around. No major problems in 12 years.

We found this 9 year old 08 with 164,000 miles on it for $1150. it had some minor body damage to the front bumper and driver fender. Those of you that know these cars know that the 2007-2013ish Toyota 2azfe engine cars are prone to use oil. This is a toyota problem. This wasn't a huge deal until in 2019 when it started using a quart ever 200 miles or so. At 216,000 it needed a clutch, so we just did a new engine and new clutch. This wasn't even necessary. The oil consumption issue can be largely fixed by a (or series of) Berryman's B12 piston soaks. I did a Youtube video on this. So really, the engine was savable. Oh well. Anyway, that car now has 351,000 miles on it and over 200k on that engine as well. I did the treatment to it twice and it uses very little oil now. Pros and Cons. Pro. Plenty of room! Even if you are over 6 foot tall. Lots of headroom. It's the world's biggest small car! Tons of cargo space. Even though it isn't rated for towing, it can tow 1500lbs just fine. Decent fuel economy. Comfortable for long trips. Handles like it is on rails. Getting used to the center gauges was irritating at first, but once you do? You will not want them any other way. As tall as I am I struggle in other cars seeing them all no matter how I have the wheel positioned. So that's a win. Well designed and EASY...so easy to mod and repair. The dash pad can come off in about 5 minutes if you need in there too! Cons. Totally unacceptable road noise!!! Tires notwithstanding I find the road noise intolerable. Paper thin metal on the fenders will dent just laying against it doing service work. Way too thin. The roof being thin like that too is also why it is noisy. In the early cars the seats are not bolstered well, and frankly, very ugly. The console is the worst offender because it's so small to allow for that idiotic arm rest. That thing is a joke! Easy enough to fix because you can take one from a 2011 and bolt it right in. Same with the seats which I did. Not a big fan of the single reverse light. I swapped a 2.5 model bumper instead there too with the later tails with dual reverse lights. A little more work, but worth it. Toyota paint is very consistent so it looked factory. The stock bubble grille...it's just so...horrendously ugly. Also an easy fix with a mesh aftermarket one. Oh and let's not forget the fuse box inside the car. It is not on the side of the dash. It's under it and facing straight up. You really need to be a contortionist to get to it, and the fuses are those really small irritating ones. Bad design there. The serpentine belt is VERY difficult to change. Don' t think for one second you can do it without the proper tools. Not going to happen. ---------------- The best thing about this car? The reliability is OFF the charts!. It's not the only one I own either. So, the Scion xB in my opinion is one of the best cars that Toyota has ever made. I highly recommend it. The only thing I can say is that be mindful of oil consumption. It is not a death sentence for the engine. Do the treatment, watch it closely and don't worry about it too much. These engines can absolutely for hundreds of thousands of miles. So, the wife's 08 is still rolling today wearing 2011 sheetmetal and bumpers with all the later upgrades and my wife puts 1000 miles a week on it. For 351,000 miles it is just a stellar car. My friend I sold the 09 to. He just loves it. Still got plenty of life remaining. I missed the 09 so much I got me another 14 model RS!

Very reliable car. Drives good, corners in back a little blinding to see cars or persons behind you or on sides. Also persons trying to break in car get the device from a kia service.

Southern Trust Auto Group review
Saw the car online as I was looking for a gently used Yukon or Suburban. Checked it out in person and fell in love with the color. Went back a couple of days later and was able to work out a great deal with Jeff. He took care of everything. Everyone should have such an easy time buying a car! Would definitely deal with Southern Trust Auto again, even tho they are two hours away!
2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
It's fun to drive, versatile with lots of storage space and has reasonably good gas mileage (36 hwy/24 city). It has an amazing turn radius. Somewhat noisy during highway driving and kind of deficient infotainment/safety features. But it's been reliable so far (100k miles). And did I mention fun to drive?

2018 Buick Regal TourX review
Love this car! We were sizing down after three JEEP grand Cherokees and a Buick Enclave. We finally went with something more like a car. I am always attracted to more interesting and unusual (wouldn’t know it by my last four cars!) and when I first saw one of these I was so intrigued I had to research it. Then search the country for the color and options I wanted. They are a bit rare! But they drive like a dream. And always garner interest among other drivers. It is quick, has been extremely reliable and carefree. And the sure-footedness of all wheel drive has been great in the rain and snow of the Pacific Northwest. Plus I’m getting over 30mph flying across the west on regular unleaded! And it is cavernous, both in overall capacity, but even for my 6+ footer boys in the back seat. I haven’t been as happy driving a car since the sport cars of my youth! Only giving it four stars in comfort because the drivers seat is a little too narrow for long hauls for my larger frame. But the fun makes up for it!

Absolutely no pressure at all. All cars are unlocked so I was free to browse whatever vehicle I wanted. There are no sales persons on the lot following you around. Salesperson was very nice, professional, knowledgeable.
2016 Volvo XC70 review
On my third XC70 - 2016 T5 AWD purchased with 165K mi. Previous ones were 2010 3.2 and a 2007 (the BEST wagon they ever made). Overall it has been a pretty reliable vehicle but I watch the oil consumption like a hawk due to the piston ring problem. Consistently get 26+ mpg on highways. With 185K on it so far it's been pretty good. Expect to get 200K plus out of it.
