Was looking at a used vehicle for sale. Contacted several times and sporadic return from dealership. Eventually was told to fill out loan papers and they... would get back to me???? Suv sold the next day! Never called or tried to get a hold of me about this suv being sold! Poor salesmanship and communication! Would not recommend this dealership to anyone!
We had a Ford Fusion that we had serviced at Wapak. It was such a pleasant experience that when it was time to buy a new vehicle we went back and leased... a new truck. Another great experience. We were very happy with the deal they gave us. Family owned business, great to work with. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Called when they opened to make an appointment to view a 1 year old car with less than 15K miles on it. Drove over an hour and half with my family to check... this vehicle out. The car was empty on gas for the test drive. The vehicle was filthy inside and out and it was advertised as a non-smoker. However it smelled like an old bowling alley or lounge bar and had sticky nicotine residue on vents and dash. Additionally, the care had stains and dust everywhere in the car. When asked about the smoke, the sale person replied we know and we can put an ionizer in it overnight to see if that takes care of the smell. They have had the car for over a month and don't see it as a big deal. Hence the vehicle is still there. The sales person in which we spoke on the phone and the gentlemen that we saw when we arrived were rude and not helpful. So much for small town hospitality.
Called and set up an appointment at 9:25 in the morning for 1:45 to test drive a vehicle. Drove an hour and a half to get there. When we arrived the vehicle... was parked out front. It was very dirty. Went to test drive the vehicle which was on empty. The interior had spider webs and was filthy. After driving with a/c on it was very apparent that it was a vehicle that was smoked in. You would think a dealership would have the vehicle at least clean for a potential buyer!! But it’s ok because they could put some type machine in it to get rid of the smoke smell and I could pick it up in 24 hours. You’ve had it for a month why didn’t you do it then?! I was ready to take it home today!! Very disappointed but as the salesman said we are just a hometown dealer!!
Very nice people and extremely helpful when looking for what I specifically wanted. They made sure I left with the car of my dreams and I can’t thank them... enough.
If your looking for a vehicle go elsewhere. From the very beginning the customer service was horrible. My husband and I were looking at one of their trucks... online. The pictures made the truck seem amazing. Called the dealership my husband spoke with Shawn. I spoke with Aaron. On several occasions my husband and I told them we had both called inquiring about the vehicle. Didn’t seem to matter to them they just immediately transferred us to someone else in the dealership. When we asked for pictures or a virtual tour since everything was close due to Covid- 19, and the fact that we live 6 and a half hours away. They refused saying the vehicle was in great shape with no rust. Despite our experience we decided to still go ahead and drive to purchase the truck. When we got there we were extremely upset. Not only did we find out that Shawn and Aaron weren’t Saleman, just people who call back online request. that they don’t have any clue what any of the vehicles conditions are nor do they deal with customer once at the dealership. We also found out that they had lied the truck was in horrible condition and had rust everywhere. Definitely not worth what they were asking for. Don’t normally free this way but I truly feel like they were trying to take advantage of us.
Never have I ever been more disappointed in a dealership. Scheduled an appointment to look at a truck only to see it be driven off the lot upon arrival.... Asked to test drive another truck only to hear it not even turn over. Sales person claimed didn’t know a lot about diesels and battery was run down due to sitting on lot for few days. Manager was very rude and stated truck had been moved yesterday and disregarded the fact that an appointment had been made to view the truck. Staff was dressed very unprofessional and barely got in the door before us. Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend.
I’d post 0 stars if possible. Just left Wapak Ford. HORRIBLE business ethics. I would NEVER recommend going to them. I set up a meeting to test drive a... Jeep Cherokee, was in CONSTANT communication with them in the days leading up to the appointment, including multiple texts from the sales associate a few hours prior to the appointment. I live in Toledo and am driving about 3 hours round trip to see this car (they are aware of this). When I arrive they tell me, “oh yea the car sold last night. But we have other cars!” Didn't notify me. Nothing. Even went as far as to start filling out paperwork BEFORE telling me the car wasn’t there. Just wasted 3 hours for nothing. I would never recommend. Go somewhere else that will actually be honest with you up front. Not try to swindle you once they can get you inside.
This deal stuffs a bunch of $1 listings on this site to drive its views and sales which is a cheap and sleazy way to get sales. I will never purchase from... this dealership for these under handed tactics. I would recommend no one else does either.
