have dealt with VW's service department on two occasions, both of which start out friendly, but when services are about to be rendered, they get pushy... and rude. I had two tires replaced that were quoted at $200. Everything was discussed on the phone with the exact tires in stock, and when I took my car in, they said it would be $600+!! Ridiculous!!! On another occasion, my battery completely died. I was in LA and took it to 3 dealers that told me a diagnostic check needs to be ran on it to see if anything else is wrong, but none of the shops could see me until the following week. I decided to come home and when I went to Clovis VW, it was their lunch and they were very short with me. I understood and said I would wait, and next thing I know, they did check the battery and I was told it would be $200 to change the battery. I said, "ok, thank you, I will change it myself, but can you run the diagnostic check?" And the man rudely told me, "you're not going to change it with us?? Well you have to change the battery with us first and then we can run it." I said I was not paying $200 for a battery. And again, he rudely said, "well we can't check anything until we change the battery." As stated earlier, they start off friendly, but are very rude every time I inquire about the services for my car. This has been my personal experience. My car is a lease, 2 and 1/2 years old, and when my lease is up, I will never get another Volkswagon based solely on the terrible customer service I have received from this specific location.
i went to clovis vw dealer to service my car coz the battery is not working good.but the service advisor told me that my appointment is on the next day... and he told me that they could nothing about it today.i ask if they could check my battery but still they told me they could donothing about it.their customer is very very poor.i felt like I need to please them instead of them treating their customer well.not like the sales team they are very good in dealing with customers.but the service or their advisors is really very poor.

Seven years ago I came into Clovis VW and traded in a worn out BMW for a brand new Pass at.The lease deal was great and I have continued to lease new VWs... and drive anew vehicle every two or three years. Great fuel mileage, fun to drive, and easy to take of, not to mention low monthly lease payments. Next car will definitely TDI VW. Thanks for making it easy.

I contacted this dealership via Cars.com looking for a VW CC. The CC was my first, second and third choice for a new car. When I never received a reply... to my query, I realized that after the purchase I would have to deal with a dealership for regular maintenance and repair, and didn't want to deal with someone who didn't respond to me BEFORE I even bought the car, so I switched to a 2012 Camry SE and purchased through a different dealer.

I just returned from purchasing my third VW from Clovis VW and the experience was once again amazing. They are service oriented and have strong customer... focus. I was lucky enough to work once again with Tom Buckingham and Jerome Kelley, they remembered me like I had been in their dealership yesterday! Although I no longer live in Cloivis and moved to the Bay Area where there is a lot of competition in car buying, I came back to a place I trust. The process was easy and I know I received a fair price. So happy with my new Eos and can't wait to enjoy the rest of my summer with the convertible top down!!

Our finance rep was also very sharp and willing to make it as easy as possible to drive away happy. Both of them had respect for our time and questions with no pressuring.
