Bait and switch

This place is a joke. We dealt with a “salesperson” by phone and e-mail for almost a week. Arranged our own financing with our credit union. Purchased a plane ticket to fly to Houston to pick up the car. Connected Vroom to our credit union. Our credit union provided proof of financing. They took a credit card deposit of $249 to hold the car for two days. Received a call from a virtual “sales manager” today waning to let me know to bring a cashiers check tomorrow to pick up the car. I asked what happened to our sale through the credit union he said the only way they sell cars is with a cashiers check. DONT trust them ever. They are a joke. Not a real dealership.

Vroom is horrible

Do not buy a vehicle from this organization. They sell cars with damage and refuse to repair issues even during their “7-day grace period”. I received a vehicle with a small chip and crack in the front windshield. I sent them pictures and they refused to repair the damage because it was smaller than their repair guideline stated needed to be fixed. Within 2 weeks the crack had grown to about 6” and the entire windshield had to be replaced. They refused to reimburse me for the expense and didn’t even respond to a claim through the BBB. They will not honor a guarantee. Buy from a local dealer where you can see the car prior to purchase. Vroom is absolute garbage!!

Bad Bad Bad, RUN

Don't walk, RUN! Incompetent sales staff, they read scripts. Outrageous finance charges that are almost twice the industry average. They will not inform you of all the finance fees, taxes, etc. until after you obtain financing. They insist on adding all the fees into the financed price. They must be getting kickbacks from the banks to do this. Go to a local dealer to buy, at least if you have a problem, you know where they are.

No is sufficient.

I didn't find out my car wasn't registered until 1 year later. It was a REAL headache getting this resolved. They used to be a very good company. All of sudden.

Don't

Got a truck in November 20 2021 ....when I got the truck I signed for one price when I got the final price it was $1770 more than what I signed and the final sales paper didn't have my signature.....2) be having issues getting my license plate they lied to me and told me it was a holdup with the state.....come to find out one of the new managers to me whomever they got the truck from didn't signed some papers work ...3) I told them when I got the truck that it was riding bad they told me thats how trucks ride .....but when I got to dodge dealership and ask to test drive and truck it was A better ride driving I told them about it they said leave it at the service department....come to find out the lady whisper and told me you know they sold this truck with a Is scratch on it but you could only see it at a angle........and they are going to lie and say nothing is wrong with the truck....after a while the service department closed down .....and a whole lot of other things......I'm sorry I got this truck I get pull once a week ...and so much other stuff is wrong with this truck

WARNING! DO NOT BUY FROM TEXAS AUTO DIRECT!

Sold me a bag of headaches and timeless/loss of work/productivity, uncertainty, emotional distress and loss of sleep. Bought the truck in FEBRUARY 2021. After near 100 hours on phone and email with them, STILL NO REGISTRATION. Now they are engineering some kind of BS sending the title to Arizona, when they SHOULD HAVE sent it to ALLY BANK. They are sitting on 20K of my equity put into the truck trying to give me the run around. DO NOT BUY FROM TEXAS AUTO DIRECT!!!!

Worst company ever

2013 Cadillac XTS in April 2022 the car is a limit and they will not honor the warranty because they said it's over the mileage contacted vroom vroom will not assist as well this is a scam company do not do any business within because they do not honor the cars that they sell they do not vet them to make sure that they are in good condition before putting them on the market

Beware Buyers!!!!

Beware!!!! I purchased a vehicle on January 19, 2022. As of today, June 8,2022, still have no permanent license plates. I’ve called to check on plates, no signs of vehicle registered and customer support is unhelpful. Do not buy a vehicle from here. I currently have a vehicle with no registration or plates!!!!! I feel they sold me a vehicle under false pretends. I will be suing!!!

Vroom

I purchased a car on Dec 4th 2021. Car missed 2 guaranteed delivery dates and showed up at the end of the month of Dec with a broken antenna., and Temp. plates that have expired on February 2, 2022. I have sent over 256 emails and it just falls on deaf ears. I did move forward and started a case with my DMV Investigation Division to Sargeant Jon Brooks. in the state of California. I have submitted over 150+ pages of information and their lack of follow through. I also submitted another copy to the State Attorney General office. They should not be allowed to do this to people. I have to keep up my insurance and keep making payments to Westlake Financial and yet it sits in my driveway collecting dust and is Illegal to drive in the state of California. I just made this months payment to Westlake Financial but if temporary plates don't show up before next payment due. I am calling the loan company and telling them to come pick it up right away I refuse to pay for a car in the State I live in and not be able to drive it. Don't by from them or from Vroom.

Vroom / Texas Direct Auto has owed me over $800 for over a month. After hours on hold I’m told the check is being sent. No check. Already filed a complaint w Better Business Bureau and small claims court is next. Do NOT use Vroom.
