Where is the consistency and professionalism?
As a follow-up to my last review, I finally received my tags at correct tags office in Jonesboro, Georgia which took over 6 months to get to me. In that timeframe, there were fees associated with the tags, which there is a penalty fee Valorem tax attached to the assessment. I contacted the dealership November 15th 2022 to get this squared away, I talked to the sales manager Chris, who informed me that there would be a check cut for the taxes on the vehicle as well as the penalty and fees from the dealerships mistake on sending our tags application to a different county a few times since April of 2022. The sales manager, Chris gave me his personal number, to reach out to him. In reference to this, I sent over the copies of the paperwork showing that they were paid for, as well as the late fee tax that was paid. Since November, I’ve only been able to speak with Chris three times , as well as the general manager once who stated he was going to get back to me in a day and it has now been almost 2 months since I’ve paid those taxes and fees, and I have not received any additional responses from Wolfchase in reference to cutting the check and getting this taken care of. All I’m asking is that we finish this up so I can move on with my life. The customer service has not been up to par, and I am not a satisfied customer, although the car is great, the best part of the experience should be the customer service and professionalism. Sending tag paperwork to different counties, and promising that this would be taken care of, as well as waiting six months to get the official paperwork and now waiting to be reimbursed these taxes and fees it’s just a little bit much especially being almost a year from the purchase of a brand new GV 80. Once again, all I’m asking is to be reimbursed the $6,000 which covers the taxes, title dealer penalty fees and penalties. Not happy customers.
This place is very unorganized, from the sales staff to the administration office. They couldn’t get my vehicle paperwork correct and or the title paperwork. It’s been over three months since the purchase and we still haven’t received our tags etc. Sending the paperwork the wrong county. No follow up, can’t get anyone on the phone. Spending 80,000 on a car and we can’t get treated with the upmost respect. Is this a joke? Issue after issue. This is not ok Joe, Josh. We are not happy. You have my number and you have my email
BUYING CAR? GET LAWYER READY!
NOTHING told me out of any person's mouth at this car lot has been proven as truth. Howard the salesman lied about the service on the vehicle I was purchasing. Their own service manager lied about why engine was on in first place (turbo/purge valve). Told me I had a 30 day return period. When I tried to take it back they asked "did you get that in writing?" after giving minimal paperwork copies. I ordered/advised a tag transfer from other vehicle but they charged me for new one after telling me it was a "transfer" of my personalized tag - another LIE! They want your money and for you to go away. They don't care about their customers or the trash autos they pawn off on others. My turbo went bad two weeks after purchase and it was $3000.00 to fix a freshly financed car that was inferior in KBB value by $7000.00 - THIEVES!
Great customer experience!
I’m not really a fan of dealers and dread the car buying experience since you never know how is going to go down. Last April we decided to buy a compact SUV for our son who was graduating from college. I checked several brands including doing a few test drive. As expected some sales people were your typical pushy and telling everything I wanted to hear kind of individuals. I then decided to check Wolfchase Hyundai through the internet route. The gentleman who reached out to me, Mr. Jim Tommasi, provided the info I needed over email and set me up for a test drive. Throughout the entire process he was easy to deal with, very professional and down to earth. It didn’t feel like I was buying a vehicle!! A few months passed and I decided to get a more gas efficient vehicle. I checked several options but the great experience with Jim & Wolfchase Hyundai was just too good the first time for me to try another dealer. So I walked away with a second Kona. Good customer experience is what brings people back. Keep it up!
Again was impressed with the Genesis Service Tech., Mr. Church's warm greeting, and an attentive ear. He informed me throughout my stay of the progress of the car and approximately how much time remained. After I left I informed him I had the First Miles Maintenance Plus which included tire rotation. He told me he would have to check with his manager and get back to me. The next day he called and told me the cashier will be contacting me for my reimbursement. A man of his word and a great asset to the Wolfchase Genesis dealership.
Belts not properly checked
December 13,2021 I brought my 2007 Azera in with crying belts. Nothing was found wrong. Less than two weeks later I could not turn and a long one piece belt came off. I am always pleased with your service, but this was a major oversight. I am thankful I was backing out from home and not on a major roadway.

Just rec'd email from dealership that said since it was not in writing that they owe me another key fob for the 2020 Telluride I bought there, I would not be receiving it. So when the sales person tells you he will get one for you, as you are buying the car don't believe it. Also here is additional COMPLAINTS: charged me for detailing the car, it had pine sap all over, black scuff mark on the inside. Took me 3 weeks of calling, emailing to Sales Mgr. Tony Innaco. I got $300 even though the dealership charged me more. Sales rep Brandon Evan would not return my calls...AFTER the sale when I started having problems. The car had a plugged tire in the back passenger side, they refused to acknowledge. Finally they charged me approx. $2,400 (and left the bill in the glove compartment) for a tire repair (well it wasn't for the plugged tired. I had given a review to the sales rep. Brandon Evans right after the sale, was a great review (if I only knew!) Asked them to take it down twice, they said it would take a month. I feel I was taken for a ride on this car, disrespected and ignored ! ! ! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM, horrible treatment.
I experienced very deceptive sales tactics in a recent visit to this dealership. They do not honor their own online sale price. I believe they have a designated “bait” car.

Russell Matthews is an excellent salesman and helped immensely to make my buying experience excellent! He has great attention to detail and follow-through. Many thanks to Russell and Wolfchase Hyundai for an excellent car buying experience! When I had a hitch in the sales tax charged for my home state, Russell kept on the task until it was sorted out, even several months later. Thank you, Russell!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Russell at Wolfchase Hyundai! We appreciate your business, and look forward to working with you again!
