Good driving but bad electronics

Comfortable driving and big car for loading bikes or more people. Problems with electronics. -- Flickering screen. It happen after 1 year after I purchased new 2020 Pacifica. The replacement gave me 2 years warranty. Now the 2 years warranty is over and the screen is flickering. Looks like a software bug, not a hardware. When I replace the radio fuse, the screen is good for a day or two. Dealer estimated $700 to replace the radio. -- Auto start-stop feature was working for 6 months only. I asked the dealer many times to fix it but he said that I need more drive to load the battery. I was driving for 4 to 6 hours non-stop and it did not help. The dealer would not do anything about it. -- Door locks never worked properly, One time the door will open and the next time I have to place my hand over the door many times in order to automatically unlock the door. The dealer always had an excuse not to fix it, he was telling me that I need to wait longer each time for the door to open, total nonsense. If one time the door would open in 1 second why the next time I have to wait 5 seconds. - When I press the button to move the sode window to go up, the window goes down. I have to play for a while in order to close the window. -- Car key battery low after 1 year. -- Garage door opener not sending signal from a distance, you have to be by the garage door.

Classiest lemon around

We have owned 2, a 17 and a 2021. We bought our 21 with 6 miles. We have just over 27k on it now. The uconnect, worked for about 1k miles, the car has been in the shop 4 times.... 2 major, repairs top half of motor removed. The electronics are horrible. We saw this thing n had to have it, its so sleek, clean, and the intererior screams classy. The safty ratings are outstanding.... but man, reliability is the worst i have ever experienced. Hands diwn. I cant wait to get out of this rolling disaster. I will never buy another chrystler. This killed the whole brand for me. Permanently.

Pacifica limited

Great car we got the Pacifica limited. Enjoy all the extras on the van. Just wish the windshield was tinted. We constantly have to use the visors to help with the brightness outside

Great car

Best car I have owned. Great style and wonderful mileage. I have I no maintenance issues and the free oil changes are great also. Stow and go is a great space provider.

Luv my Pacifica!

Had the older SUV version Pacifica & never had a problem in 8 years, excellent on road trips. When the new version came out I was hesitant to go back to a minivan look (kids are grown) but we do many road trips a year and need room and comfort. We got a 2017 Pacifica which exceeded our expectations on road trips by far! We camp in the back, luggage on roof, fabulous gas mileage! Even went to each coast for xmas in heavy snow up in NH Mtns & the car did great (We drive appx 5,000 each trip) The bad-back issues someone mentioned...I don't get it, the lumbar is fabulous, the seats are comfy, lots of leg room (we are in our late 50's and climb all around in that car and on the roof, no problem). However two years in we started to have electronic issues, had to replace the big battery ($300 or so, all the flashy safety features suck it up) then the small battery. Lots of the "alert" signs appeared for various things, but there wasn't ever a real problem. (Hate to say it but we have a lot of safety features turned off, not once have I trusted a back-up camera, we are SO old school) Then 4-1/2 years in, driving down the road, the transmission went. NOT happy! The warranty was still good for it and it was all taken care of, but still...a 3 1/2 year old car?? But we're keeping our car, I LOVE my Pacifica! I do believe ours, a 2017, since it was the first year of the re-made Pacifica's, was trial & error with issues, we should've waited till 2018! I would absolutely get another!

Not good value, not reliable.

For how much these vans are they are the xxxxtiest, most unreliable vans ever. I bought this car last year. It was used with very low miles and overall in almost new shape. Within 6 months the doors have had problems, I’ve had to replace the battery twice, the AC has had to be recharged twice, and the back movie screen doesn’t work at all. Could be the dealer but other people with the same car but new have the same problems.

Absolutely!

We bought our Pacifica new, and have had it for two years now. The only problem we have had, is a (tiny) paint defect on the bumper lip which happened during build, and is covered by warranty. No other problems. Pacifica is well thought out, with luxury to spare! Not only do I recommend, but I would buy another one in a heartbeat, were the need were to arise! Beautiful van!!

2020 Chrysler Pacifica

Great car. Replaced our low mileage 2012 Town & Country with a 2020 Pacifica. Great car & much quieter & tighter ride that the Town & Country.
