Vehicle Overview
With four doors and seating for five, the 500L is a significantly larger vehicle than the two-door Fiat 500 and is comparable to the Mini Countryman. It also competes with Mitsubishi’s Outlander Sport and Volkswagen’s Tiguan as well as compact hatchbacks like the Ford Focus. The 500L comes with front-wheel drive, but its platform is the basis for the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade subcompact SUVs, which are available with all-wheel drive.
