Vehicle Overview

The F-Series Super Duty is Ford’s line of heavy-duty pickup trucks, which are available in a variety of configurations and three model series: F-250, F-350 and F-450. The truck can carry as many as six people in certain configurations, and competitors include 2500 and 3500 models in the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and Ram truck lines. Two engines are available: a 6.2-liter gas V-8 and a 6.7-liter turbo-diesel V-8. Both engines team with a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission.

New for 2015
The 6.7-liter turbo-diesel V-8 now makes 440 horsepower and 860 pounds-feet of torque. The engine gets a larger turbocharger and higher-flow injectors. The F-450’s maximum towing capacity is now 31,200 pounds with a fifth-wheel trailer. This is enabled by commercial-grade 19.5-inch wheels and tires, new rear U-joints and suspension components, stronger steering gears and linkages, and beefier brakes. The F-350 has an available high-capacity towing package with new front springs and a wide-track axle, and maximum fifth-wheel towing capacity is now 26,700 pounds.

  • The type of truck I've always wanted

This is definitely a well built truck. Rugged and durable plus a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing interior. Bought it primarily for farm use and towing trailers. However, after riding in the spacious cab my wife is now making plenty of travel plans for places we can take it.

  • POWERFUL TRUCK FOR FARM & RANCH

I bought this Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.7L Diesel 4X4 truck to replace a Ford F-350 6.0L 4x4 that had reached its end of life. The newer 6.7L engine is FAR superior to the 6.0L engine in performance, economy, low-end torque, frankly every aspect as far as I'm concerned. I went back to the F-250 platform because it is MUCH easier to maneuver and is lighter weight which helps improve the MPG significantly. VERY PLEASED

  • My experience with a F250

My F250 has been a great truck to own. Plenty of power yet comfortable and easy to drive. First time to own a diesel, the dealership has informed me on all service needs for the truck.

  • Love the truck but DEF exhaust system is faulty

I love the truck and the motor is great, but the DEF exhaust system is faulty. My truck is completely broken down because the exhaust system won’t regenerate.

  • Pulling beast

Bought my 2015 super duty in February of 19 have had a chance to twice pull over the Rockies pulling my 31 ft 5th wheel Ave 9 mpg keeping it around 62 mph gages never moved, truck preformed perfectly. It took me a while to get used to how the transmission shifed while in tow mode, once I figured that out it was all good
