2019 INFINITI Q70 review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2019 Infiniti Q70?

The 2019 Infiniti Q70 is a mid-size luxury sedan that can seat up to five people. It comes standard with a 330-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine; a 416-hp, 5.6-liter V-8 is optional. Both engines work with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and all-wheel-drive models are offered, along with a long-wheelbase Q70L. Competitors include the Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series.

What's New on the 2019 Infiniti Q70?

New standard features include built-in navigation, a Bose premium stereo, a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery and a heated steering wheel.

What Features in the 2019 Infiniti Q70 Are Most Important?

Available all-wheel drive should give drivers concerned with winter traction extra peace of mind, while the optional V-8 engine should appeal to performance enthusiasts. Besides the new standard features mentioned above, the Q70 also has a standard power moonroof, heated and cooled front seats, ash wood trim, satellite radio, Bluetooth streaming audio, dual-zone automatic air conditioning and a power-adjustable steering column. Optional active safety features include predictive forward collision warning, lane departure warning and prevention, automatic emergency braking and a blind spot warning system.

Should I Buy the 2019 Infiniti Q70?

Certain areas of the Q70, like the instrument panel, are showing the car's age, but the sedan still offers a luxurious cabin and the available V-8 is powerful. We also like the extra backseat room in the Q70L. However, if you're interested in the latest driver-assist technology, one of the Q70's competitors might suit you better.

To heavy for engine

So I test drove the 2019 Infiniti Q 70 with the intention of purchasing the car. It’s a beautiful car however it does not offer Apple CarPlay with that aside very roomy and luxurious interior. The dealbreaker was the car feels when you’re driving as if it’s too heavy for the engine even when you put it into sport mode. Overall beautiful car just wanted everything to be a little more balanced if that makes sense. I ended up buying a two door 2020 Q 60

Very Stylish and Elegant

Have owned this car two months now. Performance and comfort are great. Little bit of road noise creeps into the cabin but tolerable. Wished they would have updated the infotainment system a bit and tweaked safety technology features. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase.

Class and power...what more could you ask fo

This car is the classiest looking vehicle on the market and has the power of a first class sports car. Elegance, sophistication with the power of a Nissan Z. Great buy. It even gets 27 MPG.
