Great car! Powerful vehicle that you wont see on every corner. Very comfortable and quiet. One of the most elegant cars I have ever owned.

Wondering which trim is right for you?
Our 2019 Jaguar XF trim comparison will help you decide.
The Jaguar XF is a five-seat mid-size luxury sedan that is available with a choice of four engines: a turbo-diesel 2.0-liter four-cylinder (180 horsepower); two turbo gasoline 2.0-liter four-cylinders (247 or 296 hp); or a supercharged gas 3.0-liter V-6 (380 hp). The supercharged V-6 pairs exclusively with all-wheel drive; other engines come with rear- or all-wheel drive. The XF is also available as the five-seat Sportbrake wagon with the 296-hp gas four-cylinder or the supercharged V-6; both have standard AWD. All models use an eight-speed automatic transmission. Competitors include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Lexus GS.
Jaguar's InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, which includes a 10-inch touchscreen on all trim levels, has updated menus and graphics for 2019. Also new is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, both optional. A Wi-Fi hot spot and voice-activated navigation are standard on the Prestige models. The limited-edition 300 Sport sedan comes with the 296-hp engine.
The XF serves a variety of needs and desires with the availability of a wagon body style, a diesel engine and a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. It comes with most features expected from a luxury brand, including the belated availability of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but the two features should be standard at this price, as they are on many mainstream cars. Options include an adaptive suspension and adjustable driving modes.
The XF is competent in most areas and satisfying in some, but it has little to recommend over its primary competitors — the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class — including a luxury feel to help justify the price.
