This is my first Land Cruiser and probably the last as this Toyota will die after me! Bought this suv as a project 270,000 miles on the clock. Spent $872.00 on parts and tires, I'm on 350,000 miles now two years down the road. This vehicle will keep going past 500,000 miles with ease.

This a special built vehicle that can easily conquer any terrain at bone stock no mods. With mods it will probably climb over any obstacles with easy and comfort. The best ever built and the most comfortable car i have ever owned. Only thing that it needs to be done on it, is an oil change. It will definitely go 500k miles or more. It will outlast me.

  • Will never let go

I’m 67 y/o and I’ve owned, rented, driven dozens of cars - mostly ‘luxury’ category. It has 255,000+miles, and been everywhere. No problems, minimal maintenance, and rough treatment. Everything about this car is special, from looks to ride to reliability. I’ll pay what it takes to get it to a million miles, but this is the only car I want to drive from here out. And I don’t like the new ones.

  • My 5th Land Cruiser that I've owned.

My 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser is the most reliable SUV. Previously, I have owned 1989, 1991, 1993 and 1996 Land Cruisers. They are all well built SUV and solid like a rock. No mechanical, electrical and drive train problems at all. All were excellent for off road, flood and snow. Gas mileage was not super; but reliability is a peace of mind.

Stereo not so good, If you want a reliable Motor and transmission, this is your Truck. Low Cost Maintainance, Example : Starter $75.00 , It makes you feel even better When any Mechanic can install your part for average of $50.00. 3rd Seat is awesome . But if you are into technology try . Try Something else
