2021 Mazda Mazda3 review
Purchased a 2021 sedan premium plus turbo AWD in 2022 with 11,000 miles. THE BAD: At 17,000 miles I discovered the front end would wobble when I applied the brakes. I was told by the dealer that I needed front and rear rotors and that the cost would be $1,000. When I asked why I needed brakes at only 17K miles I was told it was because the rotors must have gotten wet when I drove through a puddle when they were hot. Really? He obviously thought I was an idiot. It ended up costing me $600 to have a local shop do the work including an upgrade on the quality of the original factory rotors and pads. At 29,000 miles the car left me stranded in a parking lot when the battery died. A replacement battery cost me $280. At 30,000 miles the original manufacturer tires were badly worn and needed to be replaced (and yes I rotate them in fact EVERY oil change as opposed to every other). I purchased 4 Michelin tires which cost me $1,200. Also at 30K miles a rock came up from the road and cracked my windshield causing me to spend my deductible to have it fixed ($500). Nobody's fault I understand, just one more expense with so few miles.I have also noticed that I often get a "safety and driver support systems temporarily disabled" notice. It seems to be random but is annoying nonetheless. Shouldn't be happening at 32K miles. At 29K miles I apparently hit a pothole and the front rim was badly bent. The cost to straighten the rim was $140. The lane departure safety feature is annoying. Every time I even begin to leave my lane it violently pulls me back. Even when I need to go around an object in the road it pulls me back. Also, the tone associated with lane departure only works when it fells like it which is probably a good thing. Another issue is that it takes forever for the interior to get warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The car needs to warm up for at least 15 minutes before the temperature gets where I need it to be. The problem with that is that when using the remote start through the Mazda App, it only allows the car to run for 10 minutes. Also, you can't make any adjustments to the temperature from the app. ... THE GOOD: This vehicle is a blast to drive! It sounds great and it has plenty of power and I am still in love with the exterior appearence. The interior is done so well and as YouTube car reviewers say, "it's a great place to be". It has every option I would every want except for wireless Apple car play. It handles great and the AWD seems to work really well in slippery conditions. Currently I am at a crossroads. Do I sell my Mazda3 while the value is still high and get something else or do I keep it and hope nothing else goes wrong? I really like the car but I want to love it. One issue is the fact that when I purchased it I got 2.9% financing. I would be lucky to get 6.9% with todays rates. Also, if I sold it what the xxxx would I buy that has all of these features, a turbo engine and AWD that wouldn't cost me $35-$45K?!

2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
The equinox is very nice for the price. My biggest complaint is has a horrible suspension. I even lowered air pressure in the tires below the recommended pressure and the ride was no better. You feel every little bump in the pavement.

2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
I didn’t think I would ever trade in my Honda Ridgeline Trailsport, but when it went down, my rental was a 2025 Equinox. I was very impressed with it and prompted me to stop into a local GMC/Chevy dealership and found a beautiful 2023 Chevy Equinox RS just traded in after a 3 year lease on it was up, so the upkeep and general maintenance was important to me, and well kept by an older gentleman who traded it in and bought another New one! Call it faith that it was the same color as my Honda truck in Iron steel grey with the black edition badges and rims too, same as my Ridgeline Trailsport! Took it for a test drive, the rest is history! I was so impressed with the driving, comfortable interior cabin, infotainment screen package, as smooth of a ride as it was, and all easily accessible buttons at your fingertips. The powerlift gate is a nice touch too, amazing! The only possible setback is going from a V6 to a 4 cylinder, so the power lacks a little as expected but is nice at the gas pump! Overall I’m pleased and would recommend this SUV to anybody or family! Test drive and you’ll be impressed as well! And it’s a Chevy! Nice job GM !

2024 Nissan Sentra review
I HAD TWO (MINOR?) PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN SENTRA SV 2024 SO FAR; REPAIRED BY THE CAR BASIC WARRANTY (I ONLY ‘PAID’ IN TIME WAITING IN THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER). 1. BATTERY SUDDENLY DRAINED: THE PROBLEM BEGAN AT AROUND 3,200 MILES AND IT TOOK THREE DIAGNOSTIC VISITS, THE LAST ONE FOCUSING ON THE PARASITIC DRAIN, TO FIND A PROBLEM INVOLVING THE BATTERY. BATTERY AND RELATED PARTS REPLACED SUCCESSFULLY (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY). 2. POWER WINDOWS MECHANISM BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS AROUND 5,200 MILES (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY).

2014 BMW M5 review
This vehicle breathes speed and luxury!! It drives so comfortable and smooth that you have to constantly check your speed to ensure your not breaking the speed limit. When you are sitting inside, your more comfortable than when sitting in your dad's recliner! The leather seats just hug you and make you feel like a part of the car. We were looking for a specific 2026 Tahoe. There were 2 similar vehicles at 2 different dealerships in the valley. But they were on the other side of town from us. We contacted both dealerships and they provided us with information. We decided to go to Earnhardt Chevrolet first. We started the process with Dave Wright. He was scheduled for some time off, so he contacted us and let us know that Ezra would be meeting with us when we came to visit and look at a new Tahoe. We went to Earnhardt Chevrolet and met Ezra. The Tahoe was ready for us when we arrived. As I was talking with Ezra, my wife walked around the vehicle and noticed some damage on the passenger door. We discussed it with Ezra, and we decided to hold off. We went to another Chevrolet dealership, and we found out how a customer should NOT be treated. So, the next day, a Sunday, we called Earnhardt Chevrolet back, but Ezra was not working. So, we talked with Jeremy. He was able to make the numbers work and checked on getting the damage repaired. We were contacted on Monday, and the Tahoe was scheduled for repair. On Tuesday, Dave Wright called us and said that the Tahoe was repaired and that he would put it inside the sales bay for us to come and purchase. Since Thursday was the Thanksgiving holiday, and we were working that day, we made arrangements to come back Friday. As Dave said, the Tahoe was waiting inside all nice and shiny! We drove it and decided to go forward with the purchase. Dave walked us through the paperwork and then we met with Tyler in finance. Tyler took us the rest of the way and got all of the paperwork finished up. And then we loaded up and headed home. The 2026 Tahoe is amazing! After all was said and done, we drove around 60 miles each way twice to purchase the Tahoe. The Earnhardt folks were great to deal with!! They functioned as a team and made sure that we were taken care of from start to finish. Our vehicle was all cleaned up and fueled up for us to drive home. It was a very nice touch for them to have the vehicle fueled up! We didn't have to worry about finding a gas station before leaving the area and heading home. We are definitely recommending the Earnhardt Chevrolet folks when we hear of somebody looking for a Chevrolet !!
2020 FIAT 124 Spider review
This is a very well designed car that’s going to provide a lot of fun. Everyday tasks are more fun in this roadster. Looking forward to some vacation runs in this car too.

2006 Porsche Cayman review
I bought a 2006 Cayman S three years ago. After I test drove it I was sold. I had been rear ended in my 2000 Toyota. After a few days the battery went out and my wife came to jump me off. Bought anew batter. A few weeks later fluid was leaking. I was pleased it was just the water pump. It seems people who buy this car and don’t use it have water pump problems. Eventually new brakes and a tune up. Runs like a jewel. I could not have fully appreciated this car at a younger age. Yes, it is an attention getter. I am quick to let people know it is a 2006 model. I think that keeps me grounded that I am not a helluva fellow because I own a Porsche. Oh yeah, eventually got new tires even after being told I could wait.

1993 BMW 850 review
I had a '93 6 speed (very rare it turns out) but I made sure it came with extended after market warranty. The warranty company must have spent $20k keeping it on the road. I managed to add another 80k miles on it and sold it for a good price.

2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
This car should be classified as an “exotic”. The S550 Coupe is by far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Well, our 2008 S63 AMG was a monster, but very heavy. The ride is harsher than expected over rough roads, but it isn’t close to a deal killer. The interior is perfect, but the controls were clunky at first….until you get used to it.

2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution review
What is their to say. The models from 08 to 15 where pretty amazing. The only thing I’ll start off with, is if your looking for a factory carbon fiber or crazy interior don’t stop at the Evo X. The interior is pretty relax compared to WRX models, aside and after that.. epic! Great handling, power control, upgrade options, support from vendors and forums like crazy. Handles like a prob without upgrades. Owned multiple cars, and this by far is my favorite.

2017 Ford Fusion review
The Ford Fusion SE FWD has proved itself to be a solid choice. It is reliable in stop-and-go traffic and is nimble enough to overtake other cars on highways. It is also quite comfortable, although the headrest is quite uncomfortably placed. The suspension absorbs most of the road's vibrations. When turned on at lower speeds, the motor can be louder than expected, but the transition between electric and ICE power is quite smooth. The design is aggressive, and it looks quite good. The car is also reliable, and parts aren't hard to find. The infotainment system, however, is not as sophisticated as expected, but not in a pleasant way. Overall, I would still recommend the car; it's practical, reliable, and nimble.
