Purchased used but still with warranty. Great price used and if you want to lease a new one right now BMW has a fabulous deal right now. Mine has the small battery but with REX so no real range anxiety. Not the best for high speed highway but suburban awesome. Check it out might work for you.....

Knowing the worst-case scenario was losing that $200, I felt reassured to take the leap—and I’m so glad I did. Within just a few days, the car arrived. I had a trade-in—a mid-mileage VW Atlas in good condition—and to my surprise, CarMax offered me an amazing price. I’ve done my research, and they gave me a value that was very close to what I’d seen comparable models selling for, and significantly more than I owed. Needless to say, I accepted their offer with ease. As for my new (used) car, I was impressed by the comprehensive warranty options. The extended warranty they offer feels like an insurance policy: $200 deductible for coverage up to 150,000 miles. With my car’s mileage at around 50,000, this was a no-brainer. I’ve seen glowing reviews about the warranty online, and after my own experience, I can see why. Now here’s the part that truly sets CarMax apart—the post-purchase experience. The vehicle is used, so it’s impossible to catch every little thing during a quick test drive. Thankfully, CarMax provides a 90-day warranty and has a full-service garage. I’ve been back a few times for small fixes, like the gas door not working properly, tire monitor sensors, an alignment issue, and even replacing a rear entertainment system screen. Every single issue was handled promptly and professionally, leaving me with a car that feels brand new. Shoutout to Elvis in the service department! Not only did he remember my name when I returned, but he also ensured I had a free loaner car anytime my vehicle needed to stay overnight. The customer service I’ve received from him and the entire CarMax team has been nothing short of exceptional. This entire process has been so seamless that I can confidently say CarMax will be my first stop the next time I’m in the market for a car. I’ve purchased brand-new vehicles before and never felt this satisfied. CarMax has raised the bar for what car buying and ownership should feel like. If you’re on the fence about where to purchase your next vehicle, I can’t recommend CarMax enough. From great trade-in offers to their stellar warranty program and impeccable customer service, they’ve won me over as a fan for life. 2016 BMW i3 review
This car provides me the ability to scoot along in the carpool lane bypassing an hour traffic each way to work. Saving me 600 hours of drive time a year, averaging $30/hour, this car paid for itself in the first year I had it. Plus no anxiety about getting caught without electricity.

2016 BMW i3 review
This is the most fun car to drive. Its so quick off the line no one will beat you. The inside is very spacious compared to what you would think. Lots of room for all my photography lights and gear. The range is plenty for zig zagging across the city to all my appointments for the day. I rarely in ever use the range extender but it's a nice peace of mind knowing it's there.

2015 BMW i3 review
This is a surprisingly fun car. We bought it mainly to not feel guilty running the AC in car line - but got to appreciate it in various situation. The range isn't great, the flimsy tires need getting used to - but for what a used (ideally certified pre-owned) one goes for - I really don't think you can go wrong. Unless you live in a city and have good places to charge - it probably is not a suitable car as your only car - but it's a great addition if you don't depend on it for a 300 mile drive. Accelerations is fun, the car is a lot bigger inside than it looks. It has a little bit of a theme park ride feel to it at times.

2015 BMW i3 review
I love my i3. I was looking for an inexpensive electric vehicle that didn't look like a spaceship, and found that in my 2015 i3. I purchased this vehicle with only 38,000 miles and have since only put 5,000 miles on it. It's great for those who have a shorter commute to work/school. I have not had any problems with the vehicle at all. It runs great, the backup gas option is great when you run out of time to charge. The only draw back I would say is that it doesn't go a longer distance on electric.

2015 BMW i3 review
While the exterior and interior styling are really modern, once you get used to the i3's quirks I became a wonderful car. Probably the most reliable and dependable car I've driven. While the range is limited, Range Extender make it very road-trip able. But I wouldn't recommend the interior space for more than 2 adults. Handles great in snow with snow tires. The lack of maintenance requirements make it dream for someone who simply wants to get from point A to B, without having to remember anything in between.

2014 BMW i3 review
I bought this 15K miles base model (Electric engine only) for 10K. A steal. Pros: 3 Driving modes for different conditions. Free public ev charging stations, usually charges 26 miles per hour or more, and that means free rides. Easy connectivity Stylish look (people actually have that what heck is that look) Nice cargo space once back seats are down. Cons: Inconsistent mile range readings. Range anxiety. Original Charger is a joke. 40 miles highway travel takes 12+ to recharge. 2-3 miles per hour recovery. Bmw either thinks people will bleed 50k (originally) for a substitute car, or people will always have 12-16 hours time to move between errands. Doors design is unusual. Still not as ridiculous as a coupe door design. Cargo space is so tiny with backseats up. Carseats for infants are difficult to place without sacrificing significant space for either the driver or the front passenger. My final verdict. If you purchase a 24amp or a more capable charger than you can manage. If you're soccer mom, or switch your hats often, this base model may not be for you. Still, if you really really a planner it may work out beautifully. If you're purchasing this as second car for the family, then you can save tons in cost. If you spot a free ev charging station you can literally run your range to close to empty then leave it at the charging station and picked it up after couple of hours.
