The X3 m40i is the best family vehicle. Got a decent deal from CarMax on a lightly used 2019 x3 m40i. The hk sound system sounds terrible unless you figure out how to turn off the exhaust sound that comes through the speakers (leaves little bass balance left for the music), but luckily there are a few tricks (check forums). The vehicle is a blast to drive, yet can carry the whole family and luggage anywhere. I had a few e36 m3's a while back and repairs were reasonable and easy to do a lot of stuff independently, so repair costs (only needed brakes, tires and oil in the past 30k miles) on the new BMWs did come as a bit of a shock, but being proactive helps. The vehicle has been super reliable with no mechanical issues.

I brought my car in to be serviced due to noise in the front end. When I arrived the mechanic asked me to go for a ride to hear the noise with my confirmation. Bmw ended up finding a few things that needed to be addressed using video to show me exactly what they were and gave the option of selecting preferences via email and text. The completed the work by the following morning. Pick up and checkout was a breeze! Thank you so much!

Six cylinder turbo provides great performance. Sport package worth every penny for the handling. I had a 2011 E90 several years ago with the same N55 motor and Sport package. This is just as much fun.

Bought it for my daughter. Wanted a safe, reliable vehicle. It has not disappointed. I drive it more than she does. Plenty of pep and great pickup. Blind spot and lane departure warning are a huge plus. Only downside, the seats are not terribly comfortable.

I love the car and at the same time I can't help to hate it. What I love about the car would be the luxurious interior, comfortable and quiet cabin, smooth ride, ease of access, and a few extra features that were put in as an add-on. What I don't like about this car would be the poor fuel economy for the 30i model, especially when compared to the B-58 engine. Apple carplay connection issues, no option for remote start unless I want to void warranty, and no option for the iDrive Recorder App. Exterior Styling - 8.5/10 Interior Styling - 9/10 Comfort - 9.5/10 Cargo space - 8.5/10 Driving smoothness - 9.5/10 Horsepower - 7/10 Fuel Economy - 3/10 It's been an overall fun car to get around in. It's easy to get in and out of, smooth on bumpy roads, and it is quiet. The fact that only 2022 models and newer offer remote start and iDrive recorder is a big disappointment. But I think my biggest disappointment would be the fuel economy. As I had the B-58 in the past and averaged out 11.5L/100km and in this X3 am averaging 13.5/100km which was worse than my pick up truck. I might not keep this car for long-term just because of how poor the fuel economy is.

I love BMW X3, a drive machine. Not luxury but very comfortable driving. Right size. I bought 2019 BMW X3 again recently after driving 2010 BMW X3 for over 9 years. So I need to sale my 2010 BMW X3.

Since the 90’s I have owned 5 used BMWs. Once you drive them you don’t change horses. I have been bringing them for service there since 2009. Great service and no need to wait for parts as in other garages. They are stocked. And they treat the earlier models (older) BMW customers as well as they treat someone who is either buying a brand new one or has a new one. They run the cars through the wash when finished and wipe down the interior and vacuum - and it is a very classy touch. The wifi is strong so you can get work done when you are waiting for a repair. It’s painless.

Love my X3 SDrive 30i, it has a very smooth ride and a very powerful turbo engine, it’s very spacious and has a very nice interior, I like the infotainment and the touchscreen, and you also have a manual control next to the gearshift. I also like the fact that the map on the Nav system is updated from the cloud and not a disk or chip. This is my first BMW and I am very very pleased with it, I previously had a 2013 Lexus LS460L, I loved that car but I thought it was just too big for me being a single man. The X3 is just right for me

I've lost count of how many BMWs I've owned, and will never drive anything else. Ride, comfort, experience, feel, quality, workmanship, amazing engineering, quiet, ... on and on. They are precision instruments and a joy to drive, even to just the store and back. Others included 328i, M3, M550i. All equally unbelievable.

I purchased a 2008 honda crv67,000 miles. I thought maybe I had no chance to get into this Honda because of bad credit. But they assured me if this is the car I want they would make it happen and sure enough it did. The next day I was in my car and very happy. They were understanding, caring, helpful. They made sure the car was in mint condition when they gave it to us. It is running beautiful. I am so glad I went there. I would buy another car there in a heartbeat. They were absolutely wonderful. I love my 2019 X3 but it does not have keyless entry on the door. I do have the pushbutton remote but must open the doors with fob push button. This is a huge negative to me! I assumed keyless entry came on this car. I have a heated steering wheel and heated seats in Florida that I don’t need! No keyless entry on the door! I seriously don’t need heated seats or heated steering wheel! I’m very disappointed in myself for not researching car specs details! However, I do love the look and drive! My fault for not asking about keyless entry. Had I known keyless entry was not included in this model- I would’ve waited or purchased a 2020 X.3.

The main issue I've had with this car is learning its vast number of controls, some of which are in strange places (such as at the end of the directional signal stalk) and are not clearly marked. The gearshift, for example, is counter-intuitive, and is moved backwards to go forwards, and vice versa-unlike most cars, it doesn't really move and fit into a slot for the appropriate gear. For no fathomable reason, the rear view camera stays on when you then drive forward. The warning system, for a car crossing or a person crossing, is unreliable; for example, if you have the car in reverse, the car hasn't moved yet, but a person walks behind the car, the warning signal does not sound--it only sounds if the car is already moving in reverse (if the pedestrian was walking right behind the car, you already hit him or her). There are also other "features" that make no sense. On the other hand, the car is fun to drive, reasonably powerful, attractive (I think--my wife disagrees), comfortable (except that one feels remarkably many bumps in the road), and quiet.

Cartown use was great from start to finish highly recommend anyone looking for a used car to check them out. Vehicle was immaculate inside and out they really seem to have a knack for picking quality used inventory.

I had this car for several years. In that time, it was a great car. The only downside to the car was the fact that it was a BMW, so I couldn't take it to any old mechanic shop to get the oil changed. The car has great pickup and breaking, and is great for long distance rides. It's a smaller SUV, but there's still plenty of room. And when I got into an accident, it functioned correctly and kept me and other safe. The airbags deployed like they were supposed to. The only reason I ever got rid of this car was because it was totaled.

Superb experience purchasing my 2014 BMW X5D. The customer service was impeccable from the moment I walked in. I would recommend anyone to go here if you want to purchase a luxury used car! I wish I could give ten stars.

Fun, reliable M sport preowned SUV. A bit small, but worth the sacrifice for the comfort, performance and reliability. I recommend the 35I, as opposed to the smaller 28i. The 300 hp with the sport mode gives you quite a boost that I needed coming out of a larger ML 350. Technology is far advanced. The inability to in expensively install a tow package is the only significant drawback.

Always a pleasure to deal with the service department at Herb Chambers. Brought the car in for a regular oil change at 12:30 pm and was out by 1:45. Tim was my contact and he ensured that my service contract was used. No charges.

Love the X3! Comfortable and pretty good on gas.., smoot ride and so far been great with commuting. Will most likely purchase the x5 for a little more space for traveling.
