2009 BMW 328 review
I’ve had this 2009 sport wagon since 2016. Bought it with 68k miles. It’s now at 118k miles. Plan on $1500-$2000/year for maintenance and I think it will easily go 200k miles. Fast enough, good handling, doesn’t attract police. My Best Buy.

2020 BMW 430 review
Bought 2020 430i xdrive Gran Coupe six months ago. First of all the car performs nicely but if it's performance you're looking for look elsewhere. This car is a large, luxurious, roomy and very capable driving machine. Trunk on the Gran Coupe is enormous. The power tailgate is a nice touch. Seats are firm and infinity adjustable. Wood and aluminum trim is lovely. Car is versatile meaning you can drive it as a cruiser or put it into Sport plus model and use the paddle shifters to the full effect. Car goes 0 to 60 in 5.6 secs and top speed is 155, adequate for most of your driving needs. Car feels very solid on the highway and safety features assure a safe ride. I highly recommend this car. If it's performance your looking for pony up for the M version which also has stiffer ride and uses more fuel. This is my 11th BMW and over the years I've come to trust and enjoy the marque.

2016 BMW M4 review
IMO one of the most beautiful cars in and out. Has a stiff ride with great power. Many many control options from stereo to performance. Only drawback is not a lot of interior storage.

2024 BMW M240 review
I did careful reviews of this model as well as the 4 Series. I was really looking at the 2023 4 Series 2Dr Coupe. I decided to go with the 2024 M240I because ... 1. it's a two door. I liked what I was seeing with the professional/owner reviews for the 2023 model year. And 2. I bought this as the last new car I will buy and as a reward to myself for a life well lived and jobs well done. I got the Portimao Blue Metallic Cognac Interior. I didn't pay for the add-on's that dealers like to charge. I only paid for what I had too. Do your homework on this. Will save thousand if you do. Some emails, couple of phone calls and the deal was done. Now, down to my opinions of this car.... I didn't really think I would like the run flats ... but, not bad at all. Like any tire, depending on the road surface, they can either be loud or quite. For the most part, quite. Add to that the build quality of BMW and I have a quite riding car. When the door closes, it does it with a solid "this door is closed" sound. Only other thing I will add about the tires ... I will get a donut spare. Don't like not being without it, run flats not withstanding. The interior is very well done I think. Everything is right there for you to get to without having to stretch for it. The IDrive 8 is very easy to work once you get it sorted the way you want it. Seats are very comfortable. Heated seats warm up nicely in cold weather ... so does the steering wheel. Sound system is great. I really like the fact that BMW kept the control wheel for the IDrive 8 system and didn't go full on touch screen. Same with buttons on the steering wheel. Real buttons. Another thing that I thought I wouldn't like was the toggle for the gear selector. Not a issue at all. Given the small interior for the 2Dr Coupe, the toggle works out well. A stalk selector would have been like a black eye. Engine response when you put your foot on it is right there. I've not noticed any turbo lag at all. Maybe due to the M240I being a 6 and not a 4. Power is there when you need it. My MPG so far has been about 26.5 in town. Was over 30 mpg on the highway/interstate. Having to use premium is not a factor for me. Knew that going in before I bought the car. For the cost of this car, spend the money and use the premium grade. Visibility hasn't been an issue at all. The tech is great. Works very well and is easy to set up the way you want it. The back up sensors were at first a bit annoying, but I got used to them fairly quickly. Loving the heads up display. 1998 BMW Z3 review
I purchased my BMW Z-3 (6-liter engine) when it was brand new, 1998. It is the BEST car I have ever owned. (I've had Mercedes Benz, Thunderbirds, Corvettes in the past.) This baby is now 25 years old, and has 71,000 miles on it. I bought the hardtop for it, and keep it on the car all the time now. (Too much trouble to take off and put it on the rack in the garage.) Very few repairs were needed in the past, and I've had the oil changed, etc. every year, purchased new tires like the original Michelins, and kept this car garaged. I also purchased a BMW luggage rack, and a BMW hard suitcase that snaps onto the rack, because the trunk is small. I am a small woman ("ole lady now") and this car has been perfect for everything from long road trips, to maneuvering around town into tight parking spaces. It is classic black, and I STILL get compliments on it every single day!!! No, it is not for sale.

Pleasant, professional, and timely experience with Fishers Imports NW - with a few exceptions. They included a "Fishers Gold Package" which is simply the dealers fee of ~$600. (The typical dealer fee in Indiana is ~$200 according to AI). The used car we purchased was not adequately detailed (much dog hair which was addressed & spilled sticky substance on the back seat and carpet which was not). The GM/service rep were supposed to reach out to me on the Monday following the sale of the car regarding the cars alignment, they did not. I had to call them. The phone call was necessary because it wasn't clear from the dealer paperwork (that I had to request because it was not offered to me at the sale) what service they actually completed on the car. There was only a checklist that indicated "pass" on the items they had listed. I had to pay for a necessary alignment elsewhere.

2019 BMW M240 review
I have always shown disdain toward smaller cars with smaller engines. The M240i changed my mind in a BIG way. The 3.0L makes more than enough power to propel this car to semi frightening speeds. The handling is spot on in or out of Sport mode. I'm 6'5" and 300# and I have enough room to drive comfortably. Purists will cringe, but I prefer the slick shifting automatic with the paddles....sorry. The exterior screams sports car and the interior whispers grand tourer. A best of both worlds car if ever I saw one.

First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
