The 2023 BMW 530xe PHEV hits the sweet-spot for what I want in a vehicle: 1) with up to 21 e-miles on a full charge I have enjoyed 100% electric driving for almost all my day-to-day trips (in the past year I’ve only filled the gas tank to our 530xe about 3-4 times), 2) Easy road-trips with no interruption to wait-around for my car to charge, just fill the tank with gas and keep going. I’m just not ready to go electric-only because the technology and charging infrastructure just isn’t there (until it’s as quick and easy to get a full electric charge as it is to fill your gas tank (in just 3-5 minutes), I’ll happily enjoy my 530xe PHEV. It’s literally the best of both worlds. Also the 530xe is stylish (I get unsolicited comments often), seats are comfortable on long road-trips and car is sporty to drive. Plus the back seat is comfortable too — often not the case in other vehicles. I’ve throughly enjoyed my 2023 530xe with no mechanical problems or issues.

I absolutely love this car. I’ve owned it for over a year purchased and certified preowned with 26,000 miles and currently has 48,000 miles. I previously owned a 2022 Lexus iS 350 which I also liked and a 2017 Lexus iS 300 really enjoyed owning both but this one is the best of both worlds. Its fuel efficient and a joy to drive every day. Maintenance will be slightly higher than the Japanese brand. It’s a delightful vehicle for long trips. Highly recommend.

It is a great value. Excellent gas mileage and with the twin turbo has plenty of pick up!!! Great computer and dash display. Plenty of back seat and trunck space.

I purchased the 540i xDrive with shadowline package in March 2022. The exterior is absolutely beautiful, The vehicle handles very well. Excellent acceleration. I love the option to be able to switch driving element from economy, comfort or sport. Driver assist works great; even on curves. There’s not much back seat room to move your feet, or if you have big feet, but overall a very comfortable vehicle. I can’t think of any other luxury sedan I’d select over it.

From are initial greeting Ty made me feel welcome and comfortable.He took time to understand what kind of truck I wanted and answered every question with patience. I love this car. Probably more than I ever thought I could love a car. Performance: The car has got some power. More than enough for rational people. Full disclosure - I bought this car to tune the heck out of it. And I did. I put new intakes, charge pipes, tuned for E30 and HOLY COW. This car is an absolute sleeper. It makes over 600 hp and 700ft/lbs of torque. Sport mode opens the exhaust flaps on the car to grace everyone around with a heavenly V8 sound. The twin turbos scrolling will never not get old. I did a sub 3 second 0-60. M5 performance for 2000$ in parts & tune? Sign me up. ZF 8 speed shifts quickly and smoothly. Comfort: I have a fully loaded model. Heated, ventilated, and full body massage seats are nice. Cabin is comfy and spacious. Heads up display was something I didn't know I needed. Adaptive cruise and lane keep assist work better than in my newer model Jaguar. Tons of option to mess with from driving modes to technology stuff. It will be divisive for some but I really enjoy the turn dial. It's a very natural position to interact with the vehicle. Luxury: Car feels well built, rides well, and has a solid feel to everything. Doors, dash, seats, console, etc. all feel luxurious and solid. Heated back seats, rear climate control, etc. work well and quickly. I feel rich driving this car. The bad: Probably gonna have to do some relatively expensive maintenance at some point. Old rubber coolant hoses are known to crack and leak along with coolant expansion tank. There's a turbo oil gasket that requires a lot of disassembly to get to and replace. Unfortunately these things are when's not if's. You can do these yourself for very cheap though. Brakes will run you about 1800$ at your dealer or 700$ to do yourself. If you can wrench a little bit and take some extra care, this car will last you a long time. I think BMW knocked it out of the park with this one. I really believe this is the pinnacle sleeper/luxury sedan.

I recently bought a BMW 540i xdrive. It has ample acceleration, excellent handling on curves, a ride that is neither harsh nor floaty, and gets decent mileage. Wind and road noise are well suppressed, and the Harmon-Kardon stereo system is excellent. The built-in navigation system is also the best of those I've experienced. The trunk is adequate for vacation traveling, the rear seat folds, and there is adequate leg room for rear passengers. The only drawbacks are that the car was over-engineered with three different ways of doing almost everything: voice command, iDrive, and touch screen. The owner's manual is available online and in printed format, but the instructions are difficult to find and to follow. There are some features missing in a passenger car in this price and size segment: rear seat temperature control, and passenger seat memory. I also find the standard front seats a little narrow compared to the Volvo I had been driving.

Car does everything. The only thing that this car cannot do is fly. The BMW seven series is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend anyone to take it for a drive and you’re sold.
