As bad as a FORD
November 5, 2018
The Buick Regal is the absolute worse . After 2-3 months of ownership every issue possible has come about. I now have an oil leak which was known by the manufacturer (recalll) and as far as I’m concerned, the dealership who sold me the car (Carmax) This past year, upon oil changes my mechanic alerted me to the fact that the car was burning insurmountable amounts of oil. I was to come to him every 1,000 miles to figure how much I’m losing and try to figure out why. Well, well, well. He gets a notice saying there’s been an issue with the oil burning and all that was noted is that I do what I’ve been doing for the last year. Watch the oil, check periodically and have more frequent oil changes. Mind you I’m burning 2 quarts worth in one week at this point! My mechanic basically told me to keep oil on hand and try to get rid of it( the vehicle) . Oh, let me not forget the multiple times I’ve checked the dipstick just for it to be BONE DRY. No oil lamp comes on, no check engine light, none of that. The only way I know she, ( my car) needs oil is when the engine sounds ’ rough’. Or starts ’jumping’ when I’m sitting at a light. The type of feeling that she’s trying to take off, even the your foot is on the brake. Let me back track a little, I never received notice of this issue in my 3 years of having this car because I found out I’m the 3rd owner therefore the initial owner probably got notified, hence their reason to turn the car over, I’m thinking this for the 2nd buyer too and that is why I feel I was taken advantage of by Carmax. I got the vehicle in 2015 and if I haven’t already stared, it’s a 2012 Buick Regal. I got the vehicle at 40-50,000 miles and I’m at 144,000. Everyone knew but me. Smh. Never a xxxx’gain. This vehicle is trash just like the FORD I had.
