2007 Chevrolet Corvette review
I've owned 1969,1982,1991, and currently 2004 Corvette. Hands down the 2004 is the BEST corvette I have ever owned. I have 33,000 miles on it and it still runs great and everything works as it should.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review

2024 Stingray Z51 Convertible. Great buying experience and no issues in 7 months and 5K miles. Great features and and runs great with better than expected fuel mileage. Just a couple Cons - Run flat summer tires are somewhat noisy and not offered with adaptive cruise.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
Thats is an actual supercar. I have never driven a car that makes me smile more while driving. The mid-engine and sloped front end gives it the Ferrari vibes and it constantly delivers. The interior is surprisingly luxurious and I have not had a single mechanical issue with it.

I felt they were honest 1st of all. Can't say that about very many dealerships. They gave the best trade-in value on my 2015 Tahoe (by far). I searched Missouri and Illinois for about 8 weeks and Sapaugh was the best experience Hands-Down. My ONLY fault with my whole experience was getting my paper work finished. It was a cash deal with a trade-in. NO financing needed. But it was a holiday weekend (01/02/2026) only one guy doing the paperwork processing instead of two. NOT a giant deal.

2006 Chevrolet Corvette review
After 63 years of driving, my 2006 C6 Corvette Base Convertible is my favorite car ever. Past sport cars include 3 versions of Mazda Miata, 14 Porsches (including 914/6, 1973 RS Carrera, 1967 911S soft window Targa, 1979 Turbo Carrera, and IMSA 914/6 track car). I dislike the Corvette weight, width in the garage, and lumbering response to the wheel, but the flatness in a turn and the throttle response are amazing. I find it absolutely beautiful to look at, and the auto transmission (6 Spd w/paddle shifters) is the first automatic I have enjoyed in a sport car. This is my first Corvette after all those Porsches, and I am amazed at the refinement and attention to detail in this car. Leather seats are fairly nice, but they are a little overshadowed by excess interior plastic. The black exterior blends with the black interior and leather, and softens the interior starkness somewhat, but the width of the door sill is an unusual inconvenience.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette review
Never owned a Corvette before my 2020 C8 2LT. This American sports car is a super car costing 3 & 4 times less than others. My only disappointment is the camera in the interior rear view mirror. Head lights and driving lights flutter in the camera and at night following vehicles appear to be in a fog. It's a smart man's super car.

1996 Chevrolet Corvette review
Just purchased a red on red coupe 1996 LT4 with Z51 package and only 19K miles. Everything is in exceptional condition from the outside paint and body panels to the immaculate interior. Only one issue with switching the climate control from defrost mode and it's most likely a vac line issue.

2004 Chevrolet Corvette review
I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

2005 Chevrolet Corvette review
The yellow 2005 is my 8th Vette I've owned, and other than a 1966 with 427 / 4 speed convertible (should have never sold) this is my favorite. I have 72k miles, and I enjoy cruising with the top down. The only reason I would consider selling it is to get another 66 or 67 big block. A very reliable, fast car.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
The Corvette C8 Z06 it’s is in my opinion the best bang for your buck in terms of performance. Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.

1996 Chevrolet Corvette review
Mine is a forest green / tan top convertible with a manual tranny and LT4 engine. With 41 K on the clock and a boat load of oil change tickets in the console, I think it's got a lot of life left. Paid $20 K and have no regrets.

2006 Chevrolet Corvette review
Just purchased this car from Diehl Subaru. I have never had such a great purchase experience from a dealership. They were so accommodating. I lived an hour and a half away and they delivered the car with me in it to my residence at no additional charge I give them a five star rating, highly consider purchasing from Diehl Subaru.

2007 Chevrolet Corvette review
I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

2012 Chevrolet Corvette review
I have a 2010 grand sport, in torch red. This car by far is amazing, what a head turner and amazing in every way. Best looking sports car, very comfortable, every option available, looks amazing, and if I had money I would buy another one it is super reliable. I took a few long trips with it and it always amazes me when I do , What a great head turning reliable beauty!!!!

Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. I guess you can trust a car dealership. I did and they did not let me down. Thanks guys.
