A second mechanic confirmed these issues and needed to remove the intake manifold for $600 to diagnose an extreme oil leak. The issue is still unknown and is estimated to cost multiple thousands to repair. During a recent cross-country trip, the vehicle consumed 8 quarts of oil—twice. DNT’s response has been disappointing. Although they initially offered to assist with repair costs, they have since stopped responding. I strongly advise future buyers to be cautious. If a 128-point inspection was performed, it was either incomplete or inadequate. Major issues like rust and severe oil leaks should have been addressed before the sale.
