I found a vehicle on Cars.com at Burnsworth-Zollars for my wife on a Sunday evening late, and we thought it might be too good to be true. Last time I tried to shop for a used truck, it was. I filled out the email inquiry, and Mr. Gavin McGuire called me Monday morning. He said he indeed had the car, so I told him I'd talk to my wife and make arrangements for the 2 hour drive on Wednesday. We were still wondering if the car would actually be there as we drove. Upon arrival, we found the car waiting for us. Mr. McGuire was very helpful with our questions about hybrid vehicles as well as demonstrating it's features on our test drive. We were happy to buy that car that day from him. Their finance office was very helpful to find the best deal for a loan which, to my surprise, beat my pre-approved USAA rate. It was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences we've ever had.
I bought my 2011 Buick Regal from Gavin on the Ford side who was excellent, a few years ago. We decided to try their service dept being that we purchased the car from them. We have a dealership in our hometown, but we were pleasantly surprised with them. Our Chevy Silverado was purchased elsewhere, but we take all of our vehicles to them for service. We drive almost 45 minutes for the Chevy service team. Troy, is a great service manager that always does his best to get our needs taken care of in a timely and professional manner. We will not go anywhere else for service.
Just had to take time to rave about the service we have had at Shepherds. We have had routine service, warranty work and now estimates and body work done to our 2014 Chevy truck. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel like a customer instead of a problem. And their facilities while you are waiting are awesome. So thankful for such a great dealership so close to home.
Shepherd's is not only a great place to buy a vehicle. They also have an outstanding service department. There is definitely something valuable to buying from a locally family owned business. It's right here in our community and their generosity is impeccable!

I had been searching for months for a Ford Edge with certain options that were a must have. I finally ran across one online that was more than perfect. I called and talked to Ryan and he ran some numbers for me and was very nice and professional. After a couple hours of thinking it over I went and saw Ryan and bought it. My husband was looking for a newer Dodge Ram pickup truck. I found his car online and contacted the dealer. Very easy to work with, although we were driving 50 miles from Ohio. It was the truck my husband wanted. Ryan Myers was very helpful, and my husband loves his new ride!
Shannon was great. He calmed my nerves, set me up with exactly what I needed within my budget. I didnt even realize it until Thanksgiving day but I gained an additional seat in my third row that my previous SUV did not have. Service all the way around was wonderful from the time the service guys intercepted me, until I was driving off in my new car. It was a scary situation I had on the high way with my power steering and rack and pinion going completely out. The service guys calmed me down and entertained my boys. I appreciate all that was done for me. Everyone was great!
I had first looked at their available used inventory online before setting up an appointment with Mike McDonald to discuss what options I was looking to have and then test drove one, and found another vehicle at their sister dealership and we drove a vehicle to swap and the vehicle we retrieved is the one I purchased. I did not feel pressured to purchase any other vehicles but what I wanted to afford.
