2026 BMW Z4 review
Following two Mazda Miatas and a MINI Roadster S, we chose the last year of the BMW z4 to continue our top down motoring experience. While certainly larger than our previous roadsters, it has superior engine performance and handling capabilities and a more premium interior and spectacular exterior appeal. We found the B46 4 cylinder engine plenty powerful and did not want/need the legend B58 6 cylinder's extra power, cost or insurance premium. The z4 sDrive 30i offers similar camaraderie as the Miatas and MINIs with both BMWCCA and ZSCCA group activities. With only our break-in miles, cannot speak to reliability but our other BMWs (x3 M40i and 230i) have been problem-free.

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
This is the best Jeep Wrangler model ever made. The past YJ, TJ, JK models are great, but this Jeep JL 2018 Wrangler Sahara Automatic V6 is the best one yet. The comfort and modern amenities are top of the line. The 8” infotainment head unit and Alpine sound system is out of this world. The interior fits my family of four and has enough cargo space for a stroller, scooter, Onewheel XR and beach chairs. The exterior needs no introduction with its iconic round headlights and seven slot grill. Followed by a three piece removable top, which I managed to take off and put back on by myself. FYI, don’t try doing this by yourself. My final favorite thing about my Jeep JL is the ability to customize the Jeep with all of the amazing aftermarket parts and pieces. This allows you to take the best looking car on the road and make it your own.

2018 BMW M240 review
Super fun car to drive. Love the B58 engine, tons of power and suuuper smooth. Handling is next level and it just feels it will turn through anything! Everyone I've shown it to totally loves it. The gas mileage is also much better than I was expecting, coming from a tuned VW GTI. I never considered myself a convertible person, but I ended up buying the convertible anyway cause I figured it would be fun. I'm not a huge fan of the seats given this is one step below a full blown M2. They're decently comfortable, but they look awfully boring compared to something like Audi and the quilted leather they use. The one other thing is the soft top has a bit of a squeak, though to be fair I really haven't looked into getting it fixed so it could be super minor. Very much looking forward to more driving!

2015 BMW M4 review
Had the car for 79000 miles. Only issues were the fuel pump at 56k. The valve cover at 50k. If you live in a hit climate get tint if not the interior literally will melt I had so much usable power I had to go to traffic school to back off of it. Was like crack addict type power untill third ticket . Very reliable car mine even had the original battery from 2015 that just was as new in 2025. Great car overall

2018 Ferrari 488 Spider review
After considering a change from the Cali T to the 488, I did it. Got a ‘17 488 Spider w 5k miles. Best move I’ve ever done. The 488 is a drivable super car that’s art work in motion. It has a great ride and unbelievable performance. It’s what Enzo would want for a drivable super car. Lastly, it is a stunner and people I never thought have asked for pictures with it. I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.

2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF review
At first glance you ask yourself... what did I buy. It looks small and very low to the ground. You manage to get in and start the car. The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this. 2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT review
What a treat to drive the GT! The car’s distinctive styling is actually eclipsed by its performance. The acceleration is extremely responsive, it corners as flat as a board and it’s growl is intoxicating. Through the years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to own several world-class vehicles but this one is, by far, my favorite and the most fun to drive. Unfortunately, after a back injury at age 68, it’s time for me to grow up and start acting my age so my loss is your gain. You won’t be disappointed; this little beauty is a gem and if you appreciate great engineering like I do, it’s worth every penny.

2021 Lexus LC 500 review
